Aren't they already tied together in the eyes of society? They are all on the news and they announced their intentions to marry on diwali in front of a huge crowd.

I am not blown away by this. I am also not blown away by Shyam and Khushi inching closer towards marriage either. It's a bumpy road, these are bumpy characters. Nothing is cut and dry with them.

I never imagined ASR would confess his feelings, ESPECIALLY after hearing that Khushi is engaged. I suspected his knee jerk reaction to be something like this so he could show her how much Khushi doesn't mean to him - reverse psychology of sorts that does nothing except to torment her and slice his heart into more pieces. And by the looks of the SBB segment, I will need a hanky.

So, if in the end we know that ArHi will be together, what is the big deal in announcing the engagement? In actuality, Khushi's engagement to Shyam doesn't count because ASR and she already got engaged. In the similar way ASR and La engagement will not count. More tension, more complications, more self destructions - not a vamp in sight - I love it!!

I am pleased that the CVs did not go with convention and the 'popular' way out and do a confession scene. I am happy to finally see a serial that doesn't have a vamp, a saas or a don who do all the dirty work to keep the leads apart. Here the leads do it themselves - they are tripping over their pride and egos all the time. How very human and refreshing to see a battle of wills. ArHi will be together but we will have to walk on hot coals to get there. I say bring it, because I am in it to win it. (a little lottery slogan - but it'll work)

@ bold This is the best part of this show even I do agree. Its only ego this time, but later it will be misunderstandings which will keep the two leads apart. Some thing like the Pride and Prejudice if anyone of you have heard or read the novel by Jane Austen.

Haha, we're the sadistic minority!!! I am so excited for his torment!!! Although, I'm a little bit anxious about the pace, just because, we climb the hill... then stop and take a break for too long and then get to the peak... that wait in the middle dampers the story a teeny bit.. but then that adrenaline comes back again because we fall of the cliff with a new twist lol!

Oh also, its not Lavanya we should fear, its Anjali. She's going to come back and bite this relationship in the ass I tell ya'! She'll turn into the anti-sister. Every show has one, except they go from -ve to +ve, here it'll be a lil' bit different!

I know Anjali is a highly dangerous the CVs had tried to show it in number of incidents. She has the highest influence on every specimen of RM, starting from Naniji to Akash the youngest of all. But I think and don't wish she turns totally negative she will just try to keep Khushi away from ASR. So that her married life is not affected. But, I think she loves her brother more than anything on this earth even more than her husband.

@TM: Very well said!!
You are right about the leads being apart because of their own ego and issues. Not because of any vamp. That is indeed a refreshing change. I'd rather see the journey of the leads solving their ego issues and slowly realising the love instead of an overnight transformation and confession.
Yes, the destination is wonderful and we are eager to get there. But I prefer to savour all aspects of the journey rather than be instantly teleported to the destination, followed by a "The End".

I am sorry but i completely disagree! LA is not a toy 2 b grabbed, played with & thrown around & currently she is being shoddily treated by every1 ASR, KKG, Nani the entire mob. I esp hate KKG's behaviour coz she is supposed 2 b the "oh so innocent as the the driven snow" lead but every time she feels something 4 her LAAD GOVERNOR i am surprised that she is able 2 look straight at LA's face, eyes & behave as if everything is normal. I understand that u cant help falling in love but at the same time a little bit of guilt & regret is also expected wen u r eyeballing some1 else's property even if that property is eyeballing u in return. I am disgusted with the way the CVs r playing this LA track. Get the hate marriage rolling so that at least LA can move ahead like the Fast rack ad & hitch herself up with some other decent bloke who ll treat her better than this chain gang

Apologies if i offended any1 here with my post!

@BOLD: Can I hug you? 😃

Rainbows and teddy bears are SO yesterday!
WE WANT BAD BOYS! Dark, dangerous and lethal! ASR, grabbing Khushi is always thrilling to me, however repetitive it becomes! Athough, I do wish he's start to hold her some where else besides her upper arms. (Wish she'd push at his chest again! EEk!)

Gosh, ASR is so thrilling! *fans self*

I'm loving, absolutely loving the comments in this post! Each and every one of em that I've read so far!!!
SO HAPPY! :D

What The...

How did I miss page 8, Anu? 🤣

Great post. True dat I love the roller coaster ride, current track, the range of emotions Barun and Sanaya so beautifully portray.

People are used to Saas Bahu dramas, and 'ahem' goody two shoes leads so maybe less understanding and accepting of the complexities in IPK..😕

Especially love this part in your post :

More tension, more complications, more self destructions - not a vamp in sight - I love it!!

Nandy - this isn't your saas' type of show (I know mine isn't watching this) she is watching *ahem* broomsticks and living out her rasoi angst through those other shows.
