1) Yes people like Shyam do exist!!! ...n u don't have to go searching for them...please pick news papers or watch news...every other day u will find such cases where brides have been duped...n these so called grooms have run away with their property...money...n worst of all stripped these women of their self respect !!! Shyam was/is actually n extremely intelligent person he targeted the most gullible person in the household ...buaji...n incidentally buaji was influential too...had Khushi's babuji been healthy such a situation would not have arisen...

2) Yes ...as of now it does seem like he is getting away with it...n we will see some bleak times ahead ...however...good sense shall prevail...to glorify good we need evil around !!!

3) Yes the dramatic engagement meant that no matter what we mortals might plan...n want to execute...we are still mortals n the forces high up still write our destinies n we have no control over that...also it also meant that the gods have blessed this union...

4) Yes...ASR...ufff...u no this is probably one character on the Indian television which has been shown to have flaws...u no like all of us are...i mean normal people...hate...anger...immense passion...jealousy...guilt...possessiveness...,...frustration...everything...he has not been shown as a demigod...n that is he is not the conventional hero material...he is dark...handsome n is flawed...his insistence on an engagement with LA is because he is afraid to face his own self...he has lives a life deprived of love...affection n laughter n colors for sooo long that he is afraid to find them again in his life...n since Khushi is bringing all that back he is backing off...with LA he feels no such emotions...he feels SAFE with her...in fact he feels nothing with LA...hence the hasty engagement !!!

Do u btw watch any other soaps?? Which is ur favorite?? The amount of crap that is shown in other soap sometimes can actually physically repulse you sometimes...so let's not get judgmental here!!!

The CV's are quite smart...we have been constantly surprised by them so far...so let's not just pass a final verdict now !! Also, lets also not forget that not only the CV's but alot of other people earn their daily bread n butter though this...would they jeopardize that?? Nooo...i dont think so... !!

My intention here is not to bash up any1...I'm here to present my sentiments n am sure a lot of people would agree with me on this...lets keep the forum clean n not bash...lets reserve the bashing up when it is actually needed...lets appreciate the hard work the team is putting in to entertain us n not make them feel that we are an ungrateful bunch of viewers...afterall this is a soap...n that too an Indian soap...it has to run for years...if everything happen in two weeks...what will be left to watch...

Lastly...if u feel that it doesn't excite u anymore...im sure you will find many more options are available...please feel free to choose!!!

This is just a mere indian tv show. all the dramatics can happen only here. people like shyam exist in real life. but no buaji would marry her khushi without meeting shyam's family. no middle class girl can get work in a rich family where the bread earner hates her. and do you really think such dramatic scenes like temple engagement would take place? this just a show that targets in catching a viewer's weak point. sentiments. so we have just two options, watch it or ignore it.

Yeah..ppl lik shyam exist.Jst a week back i ws watchin a crime based shw n dey shwd hw man 2 timer married 2 woman..n dan murderd 1 aftr he gt al hr property.

N i dnt tink CVs hv made mockery of marriage atleast til nw dey hvnt...bcz i hv watchd shws wer a single woman gets remarrid thrice or so...n she ws passd on lik piece of cake..very disgustin.I mean a woman is shwn luvin 1 person..marries sum1elese..dan she bcums widow..n dan she remarries 2 take revenge..bt again she fals in luv..b4 confesion dat guy dies..dan again she marries...

Regardin IPKKND..ya i m disappointd abt la n asr engagement bt cvs 4rm strt r signalin 2wrds Arhi marriage..so no need 2 worry.CVs hav dn great job til nw..n wont shw crap..wil hv 2 kp faith in dem my dear friend.

BUT these pointless engagements ... be it Snake and Khushi (though that was forced and HAD to happen to get the ring into play)... or La and ASR is actually de-valuing the whole concept of making a promise to someone!

ASR is only saying set the date for the engagement coz the women he LOVES is now engaged to someone else! Maybe if he had acted with some diginity the time he tired to kiss Khushi... he will not be in this pit now!

However... instead of trying to put things right, he goes and makes another blunder! In the end... it will be La leaving in a really negative way...OR worse still once ASR and Khushi gets married and he brings her home... THEN La has to leave... or maybe she wont?...

Wont THAT be perfect? He can then have a fiancee AND a wife just like Shyam was doing! The whole thing is beyond a joke!

Why do people thrust reality into make-believe!! Can people not separate the two? Isn't the whole point of it is to enjoy it? Entertainment shows are there so that we can let our imaginations run wild, not get on a moral high-horse!!

If you don't like, stop watching it. And leave off the snarky comments. It's as simple as that.

And leave the rest of us who enjoy the show (with warts an all), to our happy delusions!!

Hi anusarkar, yes I agree with your sentiments. Many people forget that this is a forum and each individual is entitled to his/her opinion. I've been subject to ad hominem attacks too. unfortunately, a public forum affords anyone the anonymity to hide behind a screen name and hurl offenses at others without regard to logic of others' feelings.
Your strategy is the correct route - IGNORE them.
As intelligent people can have a hearty discussion and agree to disagree, we need to direct our energies at such individuals. rest is fluff and not worth the time.
