Now here i have a question : in all this hoopla, did khushi realize the significance of his act ? im not talking about his tying the bandage, im talking about the act of him reaching the temple. Hes an atheist , doesn't believe in god, had no other legible reason coming to the temple but her.

Hey I thought about this, did she realize? Was she thinking about that after her so-called engagement?

I want them to accept their feelings, No more "tumhari shakal nahi dekhni, tumse baat nahi karni blah blah" Yes I do accept its the fundamental of this show, but same with proceeding in track! And also Arnav will b dishy when he his heart and mind are fighting 😍
Skipping unpleasant characters, I think v will b doing it at least for a week or two!

LOVED the mandir scene..not for the obvious eye candy.but the fact ..

He only comes for two women..women he LOVES..

Last time it was Anjali..and last time he was the RAKSHAS..who did not care about GOD in tthe least..

This time .it is KHUSHI..I think God doesn't even figure before he runs off to make sure KKG is OK...Yet I think this is a changed man..He hesitated for a milli sec before waving away the Aarti..the ASR of yester years would have chewed the priest's head off..HE is no longer the RAKSHAS he was..He is rendered powerless by two things in the women he loves..Tears..and his love for them

yesss...anjali and kkg make his world spin...they are his axis...

the kkg temple seq was beautifully shown...him arriving...the "tumhe chot lagi hai" haiii...it was sooo "goddamit woman ive come here with a purpose...show me ur hand"

and KKG ..Nah I don't think she realises the significance..She blasts him for not accepting the AARTI ..and totally over looks the fact that he came to the TEMPLE in the first place..

BUT you are RIGHT..the CV's need to give us more meat...not the BARE bones..

Lastly

IMO, Khushi not only knows, but she as accepted it too. Her misery stems from Arnav's words and I am paraphrasing ...tumahari meri liye koi ahmiyat nahin hai...His actions do belie his words, but in her position, she cannot take the risk of assuming that he reciprocates her love...she has been hurt too often. Maybe later on, she will ...but for now, she cries silent tears.

:) so beautifully put...genius ho aap...yes his words have made her wary...maybe if his demeanor hadnt changed she'd have said something ? yes...she kept having those devi maiyya ne signal diya moments and they kept flashing her convo with payal...so yup...she knows, accepts it...is helpless with this knowledge !

As for ODB, he knows and that is why he is fighting it tooth and nail. Recall his conversation with Anjali some months back, where he said that if he found such a girl who would take his breath away, he would distance himself from her.

u know after the kiss miss fish day...i was bajoing this gaana forever :) that hes doing exactly what he told anjali that he would do...its his reaction phase...its his defense mechanism...he will protect his dil from it...but what i wouldnt do for him to say "yes i love khushi" cheap thrills you know :P

i want the words ;-)

Arnav and Khushi's internal conflict : It started off with the siblings trying to prod them on how happy they are with the decisions they took, both masterfully tossed their feelings aside and as usual donned the masks that is not alien to them, im convinced that neither arnav's family nor khushi's family understands that they wear masks. Ive long since left that part of me which believed that their families (sister,mother whoever) understood what they actually feel. Will anyone spot the pain each of these characters is carrying ?

Khushi's Farewell : this one scores close to home for me...the entire raizada family women were constantly reminding arnav of how he'd never see khushi again, adding oil to the fire each person was chanting the name as if in some holy stupor. I think arnav's emotions here were brilliant, no matter how hard he tries to toughen up and be completely not affected, he cant escape the feeling of despair that runs through him at the thought of her leaving him. The whole pool sequence just showed how amazingly powerless he is in her presence... the clash between the two lines of thought (i mean ASR and arnav) was amazingly portrayed and we got to see that it ripped his heart to see her leave.

Temple of Joy : Now lets leave aside the fact on how amazing he looked in that suit with his aviators (gosh...*drools*). The significance of arnav reaching there, he knows shes hurt...he knows it was his action that caused it, he cant help but go and make sure that shes alright. Hes fighting a losing battle and hops into his suv and the lights lead him straight to her. The attempt to soothe her hurt,the pseudo engagement, the ego clash post it...all expected in a typical day of arnav and khushi...they vow not to speak to each other again, and storm off...seemingly in opposite directions but then take a parallel road home.

Does she realize this ? or does the overwhelming nature of the bandage knot eclipse this act. Or are they synonymous ? i personally expected an internal monologue on why he was there in the first place, both from her end and his. But i guess in the events that followed, it left no time for introspection.

Lastly

Khushi's engagement vs. Arnav's Macbeth moment :

I loved how both scenes had a montage of all their moments together, even with her engagement to another man, she cant disassociate her thoughts from him. Her family (bluack) forces, she agrees but only her silent thoughts and the friendly milkyway are true witnesses to the turmoil she faces

Him : the harder he tries to wipe off her thoughts the more ingrained it becomes into him. he makes yet another resolve, but fails as we see him wake up the next morning with her name on his lips. I think throughout the week there have been say 3-4 instances where he utters the name, with longing...with care...with anger...with fear..each instance was a different spot on the emotion spectrum of arnav and each held its own significance.

These two know they are in love...at least i believe they do...what remains is for them to acknowledge that no matter what this feeling is a constant...no hail no war...will deter them from this. It would be interesting to watch how after an acceptance of feelings (self acceptance) they'd behave around each other.

Im going to completely skip over the unpleasant characters and the even more weak ones...because frankly they get on my nerves and i cant bring myself to analyze what in the world's name prompts their actions !!

Let me know what you guys thought of this week...

I agree...I want to see more internal dialogue. Khushi, it seems, wants to stick to the surface and not dig any deeper. yes, he put her in GH not knowing how bad it was, but he came to rescue her. He broke her fast, but he caught her before she fell over. Any many more obvious instances that followed including this week's mandir scene. Does she know and doesn't want to acknowledge??

The rest of the characters are best ignored - since, as my Vistaa pointed out, they have CVitis!!!
