Inside the mind of ASR - have a look - Page 3

Thank you for tis...i really enjoyed your writing...I hope that people do understand his character..😉 ASR is scared of falling in love or hurting Khushi...He never shared his feelings with anyone...and has build a wall around himself...I have seen people with similar personality and I can also definitely relate myself to him🤢..lol...btw my sister pointed out those similarities...😆.I can easily understand the feelings and emotions that he felt...He sounds like a true Cancerian😆

Wonderful post and much needed at this stage of the story.
Can I add a couple of old incidents that have really stuck in my mind cos they beautifully brought out the difference between his inner and outer personas-

There was this episode where Nani ticks off Mami for buying expensive jewelry when there was really no occasion for it. At the end of the scene, there is a brief shot of Arnav entering the room. The next scene Anjali hands over that expensive set to Mami saying Chote had bought it for her!
I thought this was incredibly sweet especially since this was back in the days when he'd do nothing but glower and bark out orders.

The next one, I think it was just after the Teej episode. Shyam is shown in RM for the first time - most of the family is in the kitchen - Mamiji, Mamaji, Akash, Shyam and Anjali. They are all laughing and the camaraderie between them is tangible - its a very sweet family moment. Then Arnav comes down the stairs and stops at the sight..his expression there was just heart rending. He looks really happy to see them all like that, but there's also this look of deep yearning in his face..like, I wish I could fit in with them !
He's kind of an outsider even with his his family!
I think that was the moment I was totally hooked - I just HAD to know that this guy was going to be alright.

For the ones who haven understood the character ASR this is a must read post..

This man is complex, fights with his inner feelings, pretends to be something else (harsh ,rude, insensitive,mentally strong) but actually is something else ( tender at heart, kind,sensitive and not as much mentally strong as much kushi is).
