Anjali walked to the two of them and cleared her throat. Arnav looked at her and told Anjali that lights are fixed. Anjali smiled and thanked him. Arnav looked sternly at her sister and told her that he is preparing for a very important meeting so he will need to spend the next few hours preparing. So no more requests please. Anjali nodded and smiled.

Anjali: Chote I will not bother you if you promise to wear Kurta tonight during Diwali puja

Arnav: Di you know that I don't like to wear all that.

Khushi: looking all surprised that Arnav does not like to wear kurta " Aapko Kurta nahin acha lagta. Jo baat aur raub khurta main lagta hai woh is suit boot main kahan" Khushi made a frown face knowing that Arnav does not like to wear Kurta. Arnav just walked away. Anjali made a sad face that today again Chote will not wear Kurta.

La and Anjali were a little apprehensive as to how should they confront Khushi. La, Anjali and Khushi were sitting in living room and La asked what she meant when she said that she has dhak-dhak and acidity these days. Khushi was startled by her question and casually responded,

Khushi: Lavanyaji humein nahin pata but humko aajkal dhak dhak acidity hote hain jab hum unke paas jate hain.

La: With raised eyebrows and a naughty smile, "unke, kinke?"

Khushi realizing what she just said tried to cover up by saying that she didn't mean to say unke, she meant that these days due to fasting due to festivals she is not feeling well.

Anjali: Khushiji khana nahin khane se dhak dhak hota hai aapko? (Smiling and trying real hard to control her laughter)

Khushi realizing that she is digging her grave just smiled and didn't reply anything. Anjali went and sat next to Khushi and held her hand and looked at her and said,

Anjali: Khushiji har ladki ko darr lagta hai umar ki uss padav ko par karne main jis par aap khade hain. Par jab apna dil aur apna na rahe toe jiske amanat hai use de dene main he zindadi ka maza hai. Jab kisi se pyar ho jaye toe uska izhar kar dena chahiye.

Khushi looked at Anjali stunned and shocked now knowing what to say. Khushi gathered some courage to say that she was not in love.

Anjali: Do you think about anyone 24/7

Khushi: Haan par..

Anjali: Just answer my questions first please then I will answer your par's… So you do keep thinking about someone 24/7, GOOD. Whenever you see him do you skip a beat and does your heart beat loudly?

Khushi looking puzzled that how does Anjali know what she feels these days. Khushi again replied yes.

Anjali: Does his presence send jitters down your spine and his one touch freezes you? She sheepishly smiling when she asked her last question. Khushi was looking down, almost digging her face inside her chest and slowly replied "yes".

Anjali: (her usual bubbly self) Are Khushiji sharmayie nahin, jalebi khayiye, humnein khaas apke liye banaya hai. Hum jante the ki aaj apko iske zaroorat padegi. Ab bas hamein yeh bata jiye ki yeh sab kisko dekhke apko hota hai?

Khushi was blushing and she had turned like red like apple. She did not have the courage to name her laad governor. Anjali very casually said that Lavanya told her that Khusshi's mother and buaji are trying to get her marriage fixed so she must be feeling all this for that guy and not Arnav. Khushi just instinctively replied, "who nahin hum Arnavji.." and right after that she bit her tongue and completely turned red. Anjali held her in her arms and kissed her forehead. La came and hugged her and said "you are a true match for ASR." Khushi's eyes popped open and mouth opened listening to La. La knowing what she was thinking said, "Sweetheart you are not the only one who is lovestruck". La and Khushi started talking to each other and Anjali went to Nani's room to finally tell her that they can now approach Khushi's parents but before that they need to talk to Chote.

Anjali really wanted to talk to Shyam but he was unreachable and she tried calling him many times. He was the one person with whom she wanted to share this happiness. She felt a bit sad but she knew that it must be something urgent as he was also very disturbed yesterday night so she did not want to bother him much.

Anjali was dying to tell this to Arnav that Khushi also loves him. Anjali knocked and came with tea. She told him that he has been working for long so it's high time he spends some time with her. Anjali called OP and told him to send Khushi also in Arnav's room as by mistake she got her tea also here. Arnav looked at Anjali and said, "BY MISTAKE?"…Anjali grinned and said "Wait and watch you will thank me my kido brother" Khushi was feeling very shy to enter Arnav's room as she knew that Anjali knew and what if she tells Arnav.

Khushi knocks and enters. Arnav was talking something seriously about his project with Anjali.

Khushi: Anjaliji hum aaj ghar chale jayein. Humein chaye nahin pene.

Anjali: Aapko ghar jana hai toe Chote chod ayenge thode der main but humne aaj aapke amma se call karke request kiya hai ki aaj aap aur Payal ji aaj hamare ghar per Diwali ke Puja ke liye rok jayeen. Akash Payalji ko lene gaya hai. Aap chaye pe lejeye.

Arnav looked all shocked and was feeling elated inside but did kept a straight face. Anjali looked at him and said that its o.k to smile or feel happy. It is not a bad thing.

Arnav: With a stern face and tone, "I am not sure what you are trying to say. "

Anjali: Ofcourse you don't understand anything. You know something Chote these days Khushiji suffers from a very weird disease (Arnav looks at Khushi with concern). It is called Dhak-Dhak , Acidity.

By the time she completed her sentence Anjali burst out laughing. Khushi turned red umpteenth time and froze in her position. She started fidgeting with her dupatta not knowing what to do. Arnav was mesmerized with her beauty, innocence and charm. Arnav smiled knowing what Anjali just meant. Anjali walked out pretending to get something and watching her leave Khushi just got up to leave. Anrav held her wrist and came close to her. He closed the door of his room. Khushi was breathing heavily, closed her eyes and closed her wrist tightly. Arnav pulled her towards him and using his right hand index finger held her chin and raised it up. With his left hand he held her waist and pulled her closer. Her eyes were still closed. Her lips were shivering. His eyes once went to her lips, her closed eyes and then back to her lips. He said softly, "Open your eyes.". She slowly opened it.

He looked into her eyes passionately and said , "Are you sure you can live with your Laad Governor, Rakhshas for the rest of your life? " Khushi felt her knees went weak hearing what she just heard. She was almost breathless. Khushi looked down and didn't answer his question. He moved closer and whispered in her ears, "I am not leaving until you say something." Feeling his breadth on her neck, ears she felt dizzy and a gush of emotions went down her spine. She slowly said, "Aap Khushi Kumari Gupta ke sath kaise rahenge. Hum toe 5 min bhi chup nahin reh sakte aur agar aap humain aapke liys kaam nahin karenge toe aap humein chup kaise karayenge." Arnav smirked and said, "Main Khushi Kumari Gupta ke sath toe bilkul nahin rahonga, main toe Khushi Raizada, as in Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada ke sath rehne ka soch raha hoon.". Hearing her name as Khushi Raizada from Arnav's mouth felt so special. She almost felt like fainting so she placed her head involuntarily on Arnav's chest. Arnav wrapped her in his arms and they both remembered the first time Khushi hugged him. Remembering that Arnav hugged her even tighter, he always felt terrible for not consoling her at that moment of her weakness. He promised himself that no matter what happens just the way he has been for his sister, he will protect Khushi from everything. He kissed her on forehead and said softly, "One kiss please." Khushi knew what he meant and she was nervous not knowing what to do. Arnav placed his lips on hers and the moment his lips touched hers she felt electrified. Her lips parted by itself and her chest were heaving profoundly. Arnav deepened his kiss and they both were lost into each other. For that moment Arnav felt like someone just filled life again on his wounded and cold heart. They heard a knock on door. Arnav stepped back and gave some time to Khushi to compose herself back. He opened the door and saw Anjali standing.

Anjali: Giggling " toe tum dono lovebirds ko ek doosre se phursat mile toe hum Khushiji ko apne sath le jayen. Humne guest room main unke liye saree rakhwaya hai aur tum bhi tayar ho jao"

Khushi and Anjali left. Arnav just sat on his chair and looked up, closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Her touch felt special and he wanted to taste her more. He smiled reliving the kiss again. He was going to wear his usual three piece suit but remembered what Khushi said in the morning about men in Kurta. So he decided to impress his Khushi. He wore a Maroon colored Kurta. His Kurta had deep neck. So his abs was peeking out of kurta. He was looking handsome.

Khushi and Payal were both getting ready. Khushi confided to Payal about her and Arnav. She told her that she has found that one person who will bear all her madness and craziness. Payal was very happy that Nani and Anjaliji were also supporting her. She was very happy for Khushi. Khushi wore a maroon pure shiffon saree. Her blouse was cut very deep both from front and back. She was wearing Lavanya's blouse because Anjali did not had any matching blouse that would go with the saree Anjali bought for Khushi. Since everything happened so fast they could not buy blouse for Khushi. Khushi had her hair open, smokey eyes and natural pink lipsticks. Khushi was glowing and not because of makeup but love. Khushi was looking drop dead gorgeous.

Anjali requested Khushi to call Arnav from his room. She walked up to his room and knocked. Arnav replied, "Khushi come in, you don't need to knock to come in." The moment he saw her he was lost in her beauty. Khushi said, "Anjaliji is calling you.". Arnav took a deep breath and stepped closer to her and said softly, "If you want me to attend Diwali puja then maybe we should hurry. If I see you some more time this close in my room like this I might change my mind and want to stay back here with you." Khushi's jaw dropped and she flustered and started to walk fast and lost her balance. Arnav held her from back and kissed her nape. She knew that if she stood their some more time he will drive her crazy by assaulting her senses. They both were walking down stairs together looking like the most perfect couple. Nani and Anjali were really happy. Mami made faces thinking what happened to Arnav's taste. Anjali was missing Shyam and Arnav realized this. He came to her and told her that Shyam called him and told that he is caught up in something very important and his life depends on the success of this plan so he will not be able to come. So he requested Arnav to ensure that his wife doesnot feel sad. Anjali smiled and replied, "If it was another Diwali I would have been sad. Today I am just overjoyed. My lifelong dream of finding you a perfect match ended today. I am so proud that you are ready to marry." Arnav looked puzzled, "When did I say that I am ready to marry?".

Anjali: Chote Khushiji will not livein with you. (With a naughty smile on her face) Can you spend your days and nights without her now? It's your wish. I mean I am fine if you don't want to marry now. By the way you look great in Kurta(she started giggling)

Arnav gave her a mischievous but stern look, "Very funny. Please keep it simple I cannot get all decked up and cannot deal with media coverage. So please keep it a quiet affair. Her father is also not well so we should not make a big deal of the ceremonies." Anjali knew that Arnav genuinely was concerned about her father's health. She nodded and said that they will keep it simple.

Shyam called Anjali. Anjali picked up his call and told him that Arnav has said yes to marriage.
