Preview:

Arnav was sick of the simpering, clinging girls that latched on to him at parties. No matter how rude he was, how cruel he was, there always seemed to be a new girl at every event, at every party and he was sick of it. The number of women vying for his attention had increased if possible since that ridiculous Eligible Bachelor article and Arnav needed it to stop. He looked from the file that had just appeared on his desk to the woman it had arrived with. No less sycophantic or annoying than all the other women but he knew one would be a much easier cross to bear than the multitudes that would invariably flock to him at the launch tonight.

Update for my FF: 30 Days

Day 2

Preview:

Arnav watched Khushi for any signs of wavering during breakfast but she made sure not to touch his hand at all while she served him which irritated him. As soon as he was done, Arnav picked up his bag and left making sure not to look at Khushi although he could feel her eyes on him.

OS: Relief

Preview:

Shyam hates Arnav Singh Raizada; the man that he can never be, the man that his wife loves even more than her own husband. Shyam imagines that Arnav looks down on him for his lack of success, lack of status, lack of money and he hates Arnav more and more each day.

Shyam sees the news clip, he sees the fear in Khushi's eyes, the anger in Arnav's and then he sees her. Anjali had long ago taught Shyam to believe in God and he couldn't deny that this was fate. God bringing the very woman he wanted right in his path, in need of his assistance, in need of his help in a way that Anjali with the ever-lasting support of her brother never was.

Update for my FF: 30 Days

Day 3

Preview:

Arnav got home at almost the same time as he had the night before but the sight that greeted him was very different. Yesterday he'd found Khushi already asleep in the middle of the bed hugging his pillow to her chest. Today Khushi was wide awake on her side of the bed and there were about 10 pillows surrounding her.

Khushi felt agitated all evening and so as soon as she was done eating she went straight to the bedroom and picked up her phone from the table as it was Jiji's turn to clean up today. She sat on the bed, getting comfortable as she dialled the number and waited for it to be picked up.

Arnav looked at the phone in surprise. Khushi was calling him? This was the first time she'd ever actually rung him and he eyed the phone with suspicion as he picked it up, 'hello?'

No, she hadn't kissed him. He was more than willing to kiss her but she was being stupid and fixating on something that didn't even matter. Who cared if the family saw them kissing? If the whole world saw them kissing? She was his wife; he had a right to kiss her whenever he damn well wanted to!

Arnav pushed his food away in frustration. She hadn't rung him and neither had she answered her phone. Even his calls to the house had been fruitless. All he got was various servants repeating 'Khushi Bhabi's too busy to talk right now.'
