To date we have seen ASR assert that he does not believe in the concept of marriage, and so he has proposed and is now having a LIVE-IN relationship with Lavanya. To date I have always been under the impression that Arnav had a problem with the marriage label, but he does not have a problem with the duties and responsibilities of a mutual live in relationship, BUT aaj mera yeh BHRAM toot gaya.
I understand that ASR is in a very confused state of mind and heart...as he is in a transition phase...where what he believed is not what he wants anymore...what he now wants is not what he believed he wanted before.
However, his refusal to see La as if WIFE, and his DENOUNCEMENT that she will never be his wife, has made me question what ASR wants out of this LIVE-IN relationship. As La was handing him his Jacket, he says "yeh sab kya kar rahi ho...tum meri wife nahi ho." So in saying this, we can clearly see that ARNAV believes these small duties are a part of the role of a WIFE, as he has always seen Anjali do these things for Shayam. So by denying Lavanya to carry out these duties, he is in fact stating that she DOES NOT have the HAQOOQ (plural of HAQ - meaning RIGHTS) as his PARTNER that a WIFE would have.
So then can someone tell me what ASR has expected and what he expects to give La in this LIVE IN...no commitment, no rights, no duties...so what's left...simply mutual consensual SEX?? BTW...they are living in separate rooms...so I guess SEX is out the door too...so what is left in this relationship??
With this said...How is ASR any different than Shayam in the want of SEX? Atleast Shayam is offering marriage as a means to the SEX, where as ASR, wants it condition less...no??
Please NO BASHING...I hate Shayam, and am in now way condoning what he is doing, plus I am an ASR fan..., but I would like to have a HEALTHY DISCUSSION...so if you can't discuss without bashing, then please STAY OUT!!!

hmmm a very good question and you answered it yourself, right now ASR is a very very confused soul. Poor guy the mighty ASR is losing it big time, as he said Kushi Kumari Gupta nay uska dimaag karab karkay rakhdiya, completely. He is getting headaches and mood swings frequently as if he has some PMS.😆 ab kar bhi kya sakta hai banda, pyar say do shabdh kehdi and 3 times sorry kehdiya dekho na itna bada 1000watt smile dediya kushi nay aaj atay hi.
Sorry now back to the topic on serious note. This is what I think, as you said Arnav is right now completely confused. Remember before Lavanya used to do some of these things like tie kolna, jacket adjust karna etc but he never had any problem with that but rightnow dressed up as Chamkili she is behaving like adarsh pativrata nari, which he never expected from her. Actually while watching I am getting annoyed with her chipakali behaviour and he has to go thru with it, so he is letting all his confused thoughts frustration on her.
About the Sex part, I don't think he is into it actually. from the beginning Arnav never intiated any physical intimacy with Lavanya, he was perfect gentleman except when it comes to Kushi he loses his gentlemanly behaviour and manhandles her (but we love it isn't?) That live in thing was Mr.Jijaji's idea, and I believe Arnav thinks Lavanya as a good friend (we have seen it other day after she falls from the stool), their mindset was similar until ofcourse Ms.Kushi completely altered Lavanya's thought and mind you its not for love she is changing. This girl still doesnot know what's love is all about, she is doing all this so that Sharanya and her twin won't come in between them in the future. Its high time now Lavanya realize and make her exit from Shantivan.
So in conclusion, ASR wanted to be Single all his life, Lavanya was just a friend(but as she is a girl, she became his girlfriend) and then Nani interfered with marriage proposals, Jija suggested Live in, and there entered ever so vibrant, lively, innocent Kushi with all her traditional ways changed even thoughts of Lavanya, which is driving Mighty ASR go nuts.
I just have to say this that from the beginning Arnav was truthful in saying I don't believe in marriage and he did strike the deal with lavanya that's what he keeps reminding her. "that why are you doing this, you are not my wife and you never will be".
So there is no way we can compare ASR with that Slimeball who lives in falsehood every turn of his life.
phew... I really don't know what I wrote but jo bhi dimaag mein aaya mein nay likh diya. hope it made some sense.
