Hey guys!!
So...there's been a change in title as y'all have noticed.
Those who haven't watched the epi -watch it and then you'll get it 😉
Today I saw one of the most beautiful scenes EVER- where an apology was more of a rant.
And the sorry when it came was so beautiful and pain-ridden,it took my breath away.
here's a poem for prose may not do justice tonight
I needed respite from the chatter in my ears
needed some time to contemplate on those tears
that fell from those big brown eyes
as they looked at me with a clear, guileless sight
It's never too late to apologize, I had heard this somewhere
it was time to test the waters, to lay the secret bare
I hurt her, and I needed to say sorry
otherwise about my sanity, I'll get everyone worried
As soon as I heard her name, my heartbeat heightened its lore
And then I saw her, looking as beautiful as a faery in folk-lore
She was going to the party I had taken pains to avoid
And now it seems I'll finally have to make an appearance there tonight
I turned back, half expecting, half-hoping for a final look
But she didn't look back..not this time, for all the time it took
I knew I'd have to go..I knew there was no way out
This was a precondition, that I would not shout
I saw her standing aloof outside the din
feeling completely out of her mien
I walked up to her, and she tells me to go away
what, did I expect her to greet me with entreaties to stay?
this then is how she replied to my soft voice calling her name
to get lost, without having had my say
i walk away, angry and upset
though I turned back to see her once..feeling abject
She wasn't there, and my heart sunk down
Where had she gone so quickly, I wondered with a frown
So i walk outside, and see her alone in the gazebo
It was so perfect a sight, though her tears definitely needed to go
I walked up to her and she turned to go away,
but I'd had enough, I won't leave her till I've had my say
I pulled her close, gripping her shoulders tight
and told her not to annoy me anymore, and stop troubling me day and night
she pointed out I haven't even met her all day,
she asked me what was it I wanted to say
All the while I was looking into her tearfully beautiful eyes
wondering how to start, wondering how to say as she cried
I said I shouldn't have said those hurtful words that day
that if i'd known, I'd never had made such a rude claim
and then i saw another claim I had made already on her
my fingerprints red on her fair arm, where I'd held her
She said it must be hard for me,
to utter the words I had never thought of till last eve
she alluded this to the difference in our status
creating a gap difficult to surpass
She told me everything..she told me about herself
when she had lost her parents, and I felt
I felt for all her tears
her beautiful eyes reflected the sadness I saw in mine..in her I saw my fears
She told me all, and then walked away,
as I still tried to garner courage for what I had come to say
this time, I felt too much to utter a single word
but painfully wrenched out, I said what I durst
Sorry...I repeated again, looking into her tearful eyes
she walked away, leaving me with the silent night
I went back home, feeling more confused than ever
how difficult it was to say that word, over and over
How easily di said it, how easy it was to apologize
it was a lesson learnt by me, a lesson taught tearfully tonight
feeling frustrated, even di couldn't get me tonight
touching that raw nerve, and left it up to me to set it right...
Okay that's it!
