Start To The Day
Her left arm was on his chest, along with her head, His right arm was around his waist while his other arm was supporting her weight. Khushi stirred out of her sleep, She opened one eye.
'Time kya hoga' she thought to herself
She lifted her head up abit, and looked at the clock, on the bedside table. Her eyes widened.
'Hai devi maiya, it's so late, and today is we have a party as well, I'm sure I set the alarm for half 5, and now it's half 6' She said sounding confused.
She moved her husband's arm from her waist very slowly trying not to wake him up. She lifted his arm, but whenever she did this he would tighten it around her even more. She looked at his face, and smiled. She once again tried to get his arm of her waist, but she was faced with the same result. So she decided to go for the other option.
'Arnav' She called to him, no luck there
'Arnav' She called again, this time she was closer to his ear.
Arnav moved a little and grunted
She put her hand on his cheek.
'Arnav, Jaanu, suno na' She said
He opened his right eye first, then his left eye. He looked at her with a sleepy expression. Khushi looked at him 'how cute does he look' Khushi thought to herself. She couldn't help but kiss his nose. This bought a smile to Arnav's face.
'Woh Arnav, will you move your hand from my waist, it's already half 6, I'm sure I set the alarm for half 5 and I'm late now' She said to him, looking confused.
'I changed the alarm to half 6' He said with a smile on his face. Khushi's hair were open, and they were coming in front of her face, blocking his view of her. He brought his hand forward, and put the strands of hair behind her ear. Khushi looked confused and he thought she looked very cute.
'Aap ne? Why?' She asked
'I put the alarm an hour later, because I knew you would need the sleep, you wake up too early and waise bi I asked di, what time she would be waking up and she said she was going to be waking up at quater to 7 and I know how you like to wake up before everyone, so I set our alarm to half 6, plus when your tired your a little cranky'
He explained and chuckled while he said the last bit. Khushi brought her right hand to his cheek, she was touched by his gesture. ' He cares so much for me' She thought to herself. She smiled at him, and bought her mouth to his and gave him a passionate kiss showing her gratitude to him. He too took the kiss whole heartedly, His hand moved from her waist to the back of head, providing it with support. The kiss broke naturally.
'Thank you' Khushi said
'Hey, no thank you or sorry, Your my wife now and It is my responsibility to take care of you' He said while bringing his hand on her cheek wiping the tear that was threatening to spill.
'These tears are very precious to me, so I don't want to see them spilling from your eyes at all'
Khushi looked at him
She quickly wiped her eyes dry.
'Well if my husband is as caring as he is everyday, then there is going to be lots of tears of joy' She said with a smile. 'Now will you please let go of me, so I can go get ready and then help you get ready to' She finished, while nudging his nose playfully.
Arnav smiled and let her go. She got of the bed and went to the cupboard to get her towel and sari, she opened the cupboard and saw a red sari, with gold embroidery on it along with sequins already there on top of the towel, with a little note on top saying 'wear me' She took the sari and smiled at it. She then looked at her husband who was laying down on the bed, with his hands behind his head. She saw him smiling at her.
'So what's the verdict?, do you like it?' He asked.
She went up to him, towards the bed. 'No I don't like, I love it' And with that, she gave a him a peck on the lips and went to the bathroom to get ready. He laid down back on the bed, waiting for his wife to finish getting ready so he can get ready.He closed his eyes for a bit. After a while he heard the door open, and could smell the fragrance of strawberry shampoo. He opened his eyes, to see the most beautiful image presented in front of him. Khushi in the red sari, her hair open with her drying it. He was dumbstruck.
She could feel his gaze on her, She continued drying her hair for a while then she stopped and put the towel on the chair so that it would dry. She then went to the cupboard, to get his sherwani out, she then put it on the bed. He looked at her and arched his eyebrow.
'Sherwani?, You know I don't wear these'
She looked at him, and went to sit near him on the bed.
'Par Arnav, you know I love it when you wear sherwanis, and I only seen you wearing it once and that was on our wedding day, Won't you wear it for me?, Your khushi?' She said with a pout. Her bottom lip jutted out.
'Damn her, He knew she was playing dirty and she knew it too, She knew he couldn't resist her when she asked for something like that'
He looked at her and then had a smirk on his face.
'Okay Khushi I'll wear this sherwani, BUT I have a condition'
She looked at him confused.
'Condition, What condition?'
He put his hands on her waist and brought her closer to him. She put her hands over his chest. His lips were hovering over hers in a teasing manner.
'My condition is Khushi, that you have to pay for it...Tonight' His voice was rough and seductive. Khushi was surprised and then met his gaze. She then smirked, and bit his bottom lip.
'Why not start now?'
He growled and then that was the start to their morning
