Money is what drives any industry and not fans love and dedication .

Now why TRP is more important than Chaska meter , because Indian Industry advertises through TV for which they pay billions of rupess to a channel .

So when and through which channel they would like to advertise ?

The TRPs tell them that .

So if your show has better TRP , means it will get more ads - meaning the channel will get more money .

The production house will be paid more who in turn will pay the stars more.

Unfortunately we who are sitting outside India do not affect that industry very much.

Combining TRP with chaska meter was a good attempt to make our international presence felt but - but we all know what happened😕

Well acc to me...Star Plus is full o Non-Sense Serials...and unfortunately...they are leading in TRPS's their Shows like Saathiya...YRKKH... and seriously are these serials even worth a watch..???

The only show I like on SP is Gulaal...sadly they are ending it...y coz they get less TRP'S from it...how sad ppl..and e1 they cud't see wat Content ac2lly Gulaal carries...Anyways If serials like saathiya yeh rishta...are on SP ..its better Gulaal ends...it does't deserve to be on such LAME Channel...

and Moreso over...Star Plus all leading ladies are not at all a strong character...None...

Sorrryyy...e1 if Star Plus is leadin in TRP's the content that they carry is totally LAME...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was shown sad and devastated for 2-3 months after losing baby... And she worked in office before marriage, was a housewife too for sometime after marriage, and is working again now...Plz watch the show before commenting...

For you it may not be,but for many others it is an A list show... So plz let us not get into which show falls into what category...

And about Star One channel not being taken seriously... Plz enlighten me haven't both leads of this show worked in Starone shows...😆BS got break from a SO show and Sanaya gained so much popularity and recognition due to MJHT...

Lets not degrade our integrity of this forum by making petty comments and resorting to bashing other forum, just because others do it doesnt mean that we should also go down that route.

Unko Chaska meter and commenting Ki jai ho those who want to follow it, it doesnt mean much at the end of the day, rather then to show which forum is more trigger finger happy. We know the truth and thats all that should matter right?

Xactly! U hav said it all! If TRPs shud nt b taken into acct jus hittin CM nd makin comments lik "Oh, U r hot" shows the popularity?! doesn't make any sense! If it is the case then anyone can hire jobless people provide them PC's and let them hit CM n make whatsoever comments!

Bashing any othr show in ur own forum n makin fun of actors just shows immaturity and jealousy ! They cannot b cald as fans!
Here in IPKKND forum i havent seen any topic opened my an IPKKND fan stating this show better or watever! They just rply when instigated!

it's so lame they don't count TRP, after all TRP is one of da major factors of indian tele shows rite?!!? no wonder star one shows aren't even toppin da trp list which clearly shows majority of da audience watch commendable shows

i think we should just support IPKKND and it's cast without stoopin so low; especially dislikin comments posted on actors' profiles etc
