sorry, i said this part would be longer. but its another part i wanted to get out quickly (its just the first half) i'll try to post more tonight!

Arnav stopped a little bit behind Khushi's house. He didn't want her to see him. Just as he was about to get out, and go peek in some windows (very stalkerish, I know) to see if she had come, he saw Khushi walking towards her door. Her eyes were red and completely swollen, and he instantly knew she had been crying the entire way home.

For some reason, that thought made his stomach sink even more. He hated when Khushi cried, especially when it was because of him. He turned to get a better look at Khushi and noticed that she had suddenly stopped at the door.

Khushi didn't even make it inside. She was greeted at the door by none other than Shyam (pyaar se bole toh, Shyaamless :p) himself.

Oh no. Khushi thought. Hey devi maiyya, kitni baar pariksha logi? Do I really have to deal with him tonight also, after all that has happened?

Shyaam (a bit nervous, as he is remember his earlier sighting of Khushi with ASR): Khushi ji, aap aagayi? Where had you gone so late at night? Sab theek toh hai? You look worried?

Khushi (very curtly and abruptly): Shyaam ji, hume aapse koi baat nahi karni hain. Hume bahut neend aa rahi hain. Hum sone jaa rahe hain.

She walks past him.

Shyaam is taken aback. Khushi has never spoken to him like that. He turns in an attempt to talk to her again, but before he can say anything, Khushi turns back and walks up to him.

Khushi, mustering up all the courage she has, faces him. She takes off her ring and hands it to him. Yeh lijiye Shyaam ji. Ab humara is pe koi haq nahin hain. Hum isko rak ke khud ki nazro mein aur nahi gir sakte.

And with that, choking back tears, Khushi runs inside to her room, shuts the door and collapses on the bed crying.

Shyaam is left shocked, holding the ring, pure fear spreading across his face. Because now he definitely knows, that she knows too.

Arnav turns around and closes his eyes. He can't believe what he's just seen and heard.
