KTH was not the first either, there were couple more before that. One with kunwaljeet , cant remember the name and antoher one 'kashish' with sudesh berry and malavika. it is all done that been there formulas being used in tv shows, and ultimately it is the trps that decide the fate of any show. Expecting that every scene should be unique will be little too much in this entertainment world. I watch so many Sitcoms , they all have so many similar scenes, lol.

Have you watched Geet? if so, you wouldnt be making the statement coz its a fact that the basic underlying relationships being presented in IPKKD are extremely similar to those shown in Geet including the current on going interpersonal dynamics. We Geet fans, somewhere feel disappointed that the PH is using the same scenes in IPKKD just because those scenes have been well appreciated in geet and are now being showcased for a larger audience on SP who obviously dont realise they have been shown before in geet... i hope the PH dosnt continue to play it safe, by presenting an old wine in new bottle but actually makes the story different coz frankly till now, it isnt any different from geet...and this is a criticism of IPKKD at all! i like Sanaya -she is an accomplished actress but the male lead needs to come up the curve...fast and yes, their chemistry remains to be seen...until now its the execution thats kept the viewers hooked but for us thats something we've already seen before- in Geet.

I have seen Geet the scenes are similar but the way have executed is different . the thing I like about this serial is that the way the protoginist met was less filmy unlike Geet.

About the characters all of them are so different.

Arnav is more colder then Maan

Khushi is more happy go lucky person, while Geet is serious cum bubbly.

Geet is full of eye locks even when they had not fallen in love. Here is different there was only one eye lock that was when they had met 1st time.

Its a little different.

yea.. i agree.. Geet is a different story... where MSK hates girls n does not hav gf.. Geet was pregnant.. when they saw they got attracted instantly etc... here the boss-worker concept is alone same whereas ASR has gf.. arhi hate each other r8 now.. n also i foresee a different track in the storyline... if the show is blamed to be copied, then i guess all the saas-bahu soaps must be blamed as they are of the same types.. where the leads marry without any mutual liking n months later they have their suhaag raat... n then to proceed wid da story they carry on wid da the saas-bahu probs... finally the female lead winning over all evils.. IPKKND is a new story.. we need to welcome fresh stories lyk dis..!!!
