For me the big problem is that aashta lied too shlok about the coin
She should not have done that she was wrong

Shlok got a new job but astha did not ask and shlok did not tell her as he did not want to upset her by telling he has to go work so will not be able to help with the food truck

Thus by helping her with the food truck shlok will be late for work

my thots exactly deeps. In fact I thot today epi itself shlok will be shown being late to work on the 1st day itself. And while he hates lies, him concealing the truth was purely out of concern and care for astha as to what she will feel, how hurt she will be if found out that shlok could not be there to not just share in the excitement but support her and start the business together.
