Niranjan and kalindi were siblings and they belonged to quite affluent family of turkey...
Shlok was niranjan's son and astha was kalindi's daughter...
Both were cousins and moreover best friends since childhood...
He was the only one with whom she used to share her every feeling...her every pain and happiness...
He was also very possessive about her right from the beginning...
She was aware of his possessiveness for her...
Once when they were kids... astha's friend throw her from the bicycle because she preferred playing with shlok instead of her friend...and she suffered some minor injuries...seeing her crying shlok couldn't control himself and pushed her friend from the bike ...the same way he hurt astha ... then went running to the crying little astha...and with his tiny cute hands he wiped big big tears playing on her face ...
Shlok:stop crying astha...you are my brave girl na ...
But when astha made a painful face and said...i am not crying shlok...these water drops are themselves flowing from my eyes...she said so innocently that he simply kissed her forehead...
Shlok:its hurting you na..come i will ask mother to apply medicine on your knees and elbows..look they are slightly bleeding ...he hold her hand and took her to his mother...
Time flew quickly and both stepped into their youth...
Shlok was quite tall and handsome...his slight maturity was a perfect match to his personality...while Astha grew up as a very beautiful , flirty , modern and fun-loving girl...
Shlok always felt bad when he saw her in short dresses...flirting with different boys as he started loving her the very day he understood the meaning of love...but for her happiness he never said her anything because he didn't want to lose their friendship as she always considered him as her best friend and didn't like interruptions from anyone in her life...
After their college they both were sent abroad for higher studies ...they both took a small apartment on rent...and joined the top university of the place...
Shlok didn't like the environment and modern values there but astha was soon obssessed by the new charms of life welcoming her...
Even she fell for a foreign boy Engin in their class... she was smitten by his personality and good looks the moment she meet him...
Day by day her craze was increasing for him ...she started finding ways to impress him by taking shlok's help...shlok was hurt and sad but seeing her happiness and growing love for Engin..he suppressed his love and feelings...and did as she wanted him to do...and within days Engin was her boyfriend...
Shlok drank that whole night in the bar...when Astha went on a date with Engin...
