~AShlokian Gazette #3: Bura Na Mano..Holi Hain!! ~

Five months have passed since Astha has returned back to Shlok's house after the court order. Yet Astha still has not been able to find out much about Swati. She continues to look for clues from Shlok's diary which shows her a different facet of Shlok's personality - that of a care free person who used to play football and learnt to play guitar because of Swati's interest in music. Meanwhile, Aditi continues to act mysterious and she seems very interested in knowing about Shlok and Astha's relationship. One day, Astha finds a guitar in the storeroom; the guitar is engraved with an initial "S". She is surprised when Aditi comes there suddenly and fixes the broken strings of guitar and starts playing the tune contained in Shlok's diary. When Astha asks her about knowing the tune, Aditi pretends ignorance. She also persuades Astha to take the guitar to her bedroom. When Shlok sees the guitar, he breaks it in his anger because it was a gift from Swati. He also asks Astha not to intrude in his past. Anjali gives her the same warning.

Shlok also finds broken green bangles in his closet and a small box of sindoor in his pants pocket. He suspects Astha of putting them to torment him. He also starts getting blank calls - some calls playing the music he and Swati had jointly composed. He is unable to get information about the cell phone from where the calls are coming. Then one day, he finds out a card in an office file that was given to Astha for safe keeping. There was a letter in the card requesting him to come to a tennis court on the 5^th street, a place where he and Swati had first met; the letter was signed by Swati. He suspects Astha of putting the letter there, but Astha denies it. Both Shlok and Astha go to the tennis court to investigate the person who had sent it. There was nobody there, but on seeing Astha, Shlok thinks that Astha is playing mind games with him. He is furious with her and tells her that his hate for her has increased and her leaving him would not impact him. He also eventually finds her reading his diary. In his fury, he makes Astha burn the diary and tells her that he would never love her as he did not trust any girl after his experience with Swati. Astha is heartbroken, but also determined to find out the truth about both the person who was tormenting him and his past with Swati so that she could heal him.

Meanwhile, someone is roaming in Agnihotri mansion in a bridal dress. Astha sees the person and tries to tell Anjali about it, but Anjali dismisses it. Shlok eventually sees a girl walking in a bridal dress on the roof top of Agnihotri mansion. He and Astha run to save her, and are astonished to see that it was Aditi. Aditi claims that she has a habit of sleep walking and had no idea that she was roaming around in a bridal outfit. Meanwhile, Niranjan also gets a call from Aditi's father Ajinkya telling him about Aditi's condition of sleep walking. Niranjan asks Astha to take care of Aditi. However, Anjali is shown protecting Astha's rights as Shlok's wife when she forbids Aditi to probe Astha about Shlok's past and also does not allow her to color Shlok first as the right belonged to Astha.

Meanwhile, Jyoti tries to hide her pregnancy from Sulbha and Abhay also tries to contact Astha to get help, but is unsuccessful in both. Abhay finds pregnancy papers and is ecstatic to know that Jyoti is pregnant. He takes Jyoti to a corrupt doctor's clinic to find out the gender of the baby. While alone with the doctor, Jyoti finds out that she is going to have a daughter. Fearful for her daughter's life as Abhay/Sulbha had already forced her to abort two of her unborn daughters, Jyoti gives her gold bangles as a bribe to the conscienceless doctor to lie to Abhay. The doctor lies to Abhay that Jyoti is going to have a son. Soon after the doctor is arrested for his illegal activities of telling people the gender of their unborn child to facilitate them in having an abortion in case they were having a girl.

Abhay stops the physical abuse of Jyoti because he wants to have a healthy son who would not only be like him, but would also help him get more wealth from Niranjan. Abhay's treatment creates jealousy in Sulbha though Abhay explains her to that he was only treating Jyoti nicely only until she delivers a baby boy. The doctor calls Jyoti from the jail and blackmails her. He asks her to get him released from the jail through Niranjan's connection in exchange for not telling Abhay the truth about the gender of the baby. Sulbha also notices that Jyoti is not wearing her gold bangles. Jyoti is now desperate to contact Astha before the truth comes out in front of Abhay and Sulbha. She is pinning her hopes on getting in touch with Astha on the Holi day as Abhay was going to take her to Agnihotri house on Holi to announce Jyoti's pregnancy. Will Jyoti be able to save herself and her unborn daughter?

Shlok's Changing Relationship with Astha

The day before Holi, Shlok finds a lot of gulaal sprayed on his car and also words written in Holi color that he would never forget Swati even though he had destroyed all her mementos. Shlok thinks that it was again Astha who had done it. He however finds her fast asleep in their bedroom. While Astha is sleeping, he gets a phone call from a girl pretending to be Swati. Shlok finally realizes that it was not Astha who was tormenting him. Shlok also is beginning to soften towards Astha especially when he sees her caring for him.

During the Holika puja, somebody throws kerosene on Astha's saree and it catches fire. However, Shlok saves her from burning. He also gives her his bed to sleep and takes care of her the entire night. Will Holi bring a positive change in Astha and Shlok's relationship?
