Here is a list of things that I want to see that will probably make me love EBP even more:
A) First of all, starplus , can we please go back to the 5 episodes a week format, I am sure the entire team is overworked and the episodes and the characters are being watered down. I am ok not seeing jaya and aditi over the weekends, Plus I would rather have a leisurely and elaborate breakfast Saturday mornings than watch Anjali break her millionth Fast
B) Jyoti : we get it CVs , she is battered and abused by the SOB Abhay, So I would prefer if we could move on from the repeated depictions of abuse ( with and without the following : wadapav and coke, soolabhatayi, dinner, valentines day , red chilli pepper friend , jalebi's , plain or madras plaid shirts ) . We get it , so let's move on! And can we make sure Abhay has his clothes on. Some viewers like me watch the serial early in the morning while having breakfast.
C) Shlok: what happened to the dark , confident shlok? His character is diluted more than the watery milk delivered by the doodhwalas in mumbai. Can we see more emotions from him other than the shouting , why is he so indifferent to her ? Why is he not reacting to a beautiful woman living in his room. Inspite of being a woman, I have been tempted to look at Asthas backless cholis, but not shlok ??? Unless Ofcourse, he finds Anshul attractive. Talking of Anshul can the production house gift him a haircut. The long tresses have prolonged my stress.
D)Astha : I love her character for all the flaws, not expecting her to burn her bra, but a little more confidence and less confusion about what she is doing in the agonihotri house would help. And can she not be a pushover and kick shlok where it hurts the most ( once in a while)
E) Jaya : I love her character as much as the awful zit on my face! cannot wait to get rid of both. We don't find her funny, sorry .
F) NIranjan Agonihotri: The most complex and beautifully written character played by the powerhouse of talent, manish ji ! We need to see more of him and his interactions with Anjali.
G) Clothes : Red, parrot green and yellow are not the only colors in the spectrum , Please refresh your high school physics ( VIBGYOR) and painting classes and venture out a little bit,
H) ADITI ??? I thought a few lessons were learnt from last season when they introduced bubbly and masala mama. But apparently not. W*F is she going to do that the already existing cast members cannot do? And can we not have her hit on shlok.
I) SWATI : the lead actor of a serial pining and wallowing in memories of his ex girlfriend ( who is incidentally now a ghost) , while ignoring a cute, hot pint sized pretty leading lady does not make a interesting watch,
J) SOJAL : Sojal represents a typical hindi serial negative character. She is of no consequence to the story and does not add anything whatsoever to the serial if she is a scheming plotting bahu rani. Unless you plan to exploit her " chemistry "with Varad, feel free to send her off to her aunts place with jaya. We won't complain, I promise.
