Just copying this from the other thread...

As most of you know.. I am a day behind.. but now that this show is well underway, we are starting to see smaller segment of cast interactions than previously.. Of course this is to be expected, but yet am missing the big picture dynamics... apart from the mandatory scene of either starting or ending of the leads.. or both...

Wed: We had SIL/MIL interaction, Mother/Son interaction,
SIL/BIL
interaction at Agnihotris.. we have all gone over this.. but I am actually liking the Chacha.. a sponger in the family.. & yet the manipulator gene is strong enough to prod Vainee??? Towards what end??

Thur:
B/B interaction - Ahh.. the ever intriguing Varad wants to take Shlok out of the country.. Hmm... does he suspect his dad's plan & thus want to take baby brother out of the game?? Sort of checkmate Dad by taking out his fav pawn??? The ever silent observer has suddenly taken a strong initiative... why???

Point of note: Why do I get the feeling that Angnihotri mansion is shrinking day by day??? The Kitchen, the patio, NA's room.. where BIL was watching TV... I don't get the sense of grandeur...

Father/Daughter interaction - Ahh... reminds me of my own childhood with just such a caring dad... his gentle guiding hand.. the good cop to mom's bad cop.. the words of wisdom garnered from his years of incorruptible experience in Dept. of Education.. yes.. there is a time & place for everything.. his mock interview scene was perfect.. I love this actor, playing it so naturally... unfortunately, that just contrasts the tad overacting by daughter & mother(or mil??)..

Elevator interaction: Ahh.. the stride of Shlok.. was so much better than the usual side shuffle.. but alas another black shirt/pant?? Thought with all the muck.. it would be impossible to clean it out?? But hey the sad-sack maid is a miracle worker...
I am getting off-track.. after the initial fishy gup-gup.. I was afraid she would poke him with the umbrella & this time .. he would wack her over the head with it...and it would have been a favor to her if he had... thank goodness after a belligerent (& her best one so far) why are U staring at me dialog she had the sense to close her mouth & eyes.. of course missing her floor completely...

Interview interaction
: Ahh... the Nukkahd Nautanki couple were like sore thumbs.. I would have thought an event management company would be a let us just say a tad more sophisticated?? These 2 seemed fit to manage only Lavani type events!!! Agreed with the forum wasis.. these 2 need to be fired... I thought a event manager is someone who is invisible organizing behind the scenes.. blending in with the scenery... not be front & center with the Glow in the Dark Neon, pay attention to me sign painted on... and of course with a matching umbrella to boot...

Loved Shlok's questions... as Angie said, actually if he had sat back & enjoyed her squirm the effect would have been phenomenal.. I couldn't make out Astha's reactions.. was she nervous, angry, upset.. all three??? Alas.. she didn't pay attention to Dad the prev. night when he corrected her answer about why do you want the job?? The result of interview is forgone conclusion...

BTW.. after making Astha too preachy for the first couple of weeks, now they are making her a bumbler?? This character is the weak link.. they haven't defined her properly... if the intention is to show a leap before you think personality.. the dialogs are all wrong.. the execution is all wrong...

Now today I am looking forward to my another fav. NA press interview..

Angie: the grandmother as far as I know is just Ajji (aajji), common to both sides..

Angie,
I am guessing that video is Signed, sealed, delivered by Stevie Wonder...i cant watch thats y i ask so do correct me if its some other song!

" I'm yours!" i like this line from the song, it fits the artic,14 from the contract, i also paused to read whats in there, the contract paper it seemed unusual size for me, it looked like that special paper that architects design on, bigger and lighter ( by the way aashta was holding it) than what people ususlly have in a office!
Good u noticed the bag and i agree, mother has better taste then granny, they should have kept her bag, it was fresh as Aashta is. thus new one doesnt fit her personality!
I knew you were gonna mention Varad missing 😉
1. Niranjan has many secrets, but it seems that anjali is carrying all their weight on her shoulders, thats why the sad face all the time. I am starting to belive that shes a second wife, thats y niranjan isnt happy to celebrate the wedding, he loved the first one better...Varad is the kid from the first marriage but he disappointed niranjan by rebelling... Shlok is anjali and niranjans kid, he is 28 so they could have had him after 2 years of marriage...since niranjan loves him so much and resembles him and anjali so much i have no doubt its their child...Just a theory.
You are right abt daddy, hes obbssed abt his image, thats y he wears light clothes nowadays, to keep the good guy image intact!
Points 2,3 Indeed shlok is his weakness, and if the sil keeps on disturbing his bacchi he might take matters in his hands...he might ignore him now. but for how long..how u wish for daddy to give sil a nice lecture!
4. Liked how u called Aashta a willing victim, yeah..her ego pushed her to this..so she better not cry later, coz shlok is on a mission!

Angie,
my comments on. the rest of your points:
5. Ashta being late was predictable, didnt like that...and she lied abt her ride beinh broken down, when she said that she grabbed her pendant and thst she usually does when she lies, so God knows what did she do that she got late of first day...
6. Since niranjan couldnt convince shlok to come back home for a year, he knows shlok is a hard nut to crack, thats he used ashtas dissaster to manipulate him...Why he wants ashta, i am still wondering abt that.?
7.yes the contrast is nicely made. abt anjali i felt bad for her in the scene with the media..i think shes really suffering inside!
8.U described Shlok well, hes complex thats y he is my favorite 😃
The epi was very good minus CN chars.

Nice post myra...niranjan was out of scene for the last two episodes and there again comes back with his wish of celebrating his anniversary...the way shlok questioned him why this time????is really mystifying...is that day related to shloks past...yes anjali is coming across like she can do watever tng even if she is not favour of it so that NA is always in good books with her reputation being at stake...
Well yest epi was more like a filler to me...but aastha handling things dropping them down each and everytime is getting more these days..dont mind her telling lies at the drop of hat..lil tone down her nervousness scenes would be nice...

Aviation,
I like your one-day old reviews as you bring in your own unique perspective.

Chacha is quite an interesting character who does have manipulative genes of Agnihotri family the way he asked Sojal to prepare an extra dish for him. He also made SIL give him respect. The SIL only shows respect to people from whom either he wants something (Anjali) or of whom he is scared (Niranjan). Chacha also knows this family inside out . But he also cares for them. That's why he was irritated or Shlok's behalf or backed down in front of Niranjan or wants a different DIL to change the existing environment of the family.

B/B interaction - You brought a good point here. I looked at it more as bonding of brothers or Varad trying to cheer up Shlok after all the humiliation he suffered. But it may be possible that he wants to remove Shlok from the scene temporarily. But I don't think he wants Shlok to stay away. In the beginning, he was the one advising him to stay back and address the problems at home. But he was looking quite cynical when Niranjan used Shlok's ego to make him stay back.

Point of note: I didn't notice it yesterday until I saw the dining table. This dining table was different and smaller than the one introduced in the first week. Then I started thinking that even Shlok's room seemed less grand than shown in the first episode. I know after a while all serials cut costs. But I hope that they don't do it within the first month itself. The problem is the time slot given to this show. A non-prime time show will not have ratings to bear expensive sets.

Father/Daughter interaction - Actors playing Avdhoot and Kalindi are very natural and that household is shown so realistically where the life revolves around the kids and there is celebration on achievements. Avdhoot is not shown simple enough not to know realities of life. He knows what influential people can do and is wary of Agnihotri family. But he also takes things at face value as most people do. So both he and Kalindi are capable of forgetting things and take pleasure in small moments.

Elevator interaction: It was much better. Also I liked how they showed her missing Shlok getting up on her floor and hence were able to maintain the dramatic effect of Astha getting surprised in the interview room quite logically. Also I liked that Shlok told Astha to ignore him and pretend he was not there. She goes out of her way to attract his attention. I also liked her dialogue of letting him know that he was staring at her and him retorting to ignore him. The display of ego was also done well where he could have easily opened up the elevator door and could have gotten in instead of waiting until the last moment and then pointedly opening the door with his hand. So it was Shlok's fault that he got hurt.

Interview interaction
: The interview scene could have been the best if the execution had been good and screenplay/melodrama had been kept to minimum. There was no need to bring in those loud characters for forced comedy. Shlok and Astha were enough to generate comedy. Shlok's questions were valid and good - applied to both his past interactions with Astha and also were legitimate for a job interview for an event manager. But showing him throwing her actions back at her face removed the subtle from the interview.

Also they made Astha look silly rather than just plain flustered. I didn't have problems with her knocking things down, but they just over did it. Also I am beginning to doubt her interest in all this the way she answered the relevant questions.

Aviation, thanks for the information on Marathi words for grandmother. And you will like Friday's episode for NA's press conference and dining room scene. Anjali's reaction was the most interesting one. After NA pressing her to tell him that he was right, she looked at him and then said in a very flat voice that he was always right. This time it was clear that she didn't mean the words and meant everything in a different way. Shlok caught the tone and the underlying sarcasm behind the "devotion". So again another black mark against the mother that she doesn't respect the father who does so many things for her. So the whole interaction was actually better than the press scene.
