Advay would have been the next Mahant, but that part of the story we never saw in the series. Though he does not believe in God now which makes perfect sense, I like that parts of his old upbringing comes up instinctively.

Thansk for that. TBH i wanted the first scene to start like that, showing a beautiful temple with the ganga in the background the early morning sun shining from between the branches of banyan tree, adn a slow vedic humming in the BG, so hence why i wrote it . I am glad u like it.

Yes the fact that even if he is godless, he is a Mahants son, and old habits die hard, so his previous life will keep coming back in ways that are beyond his control , and thats what adds to the charm of the character IMO

I love that you introduced Chandini in the temple, praying to Shiva and she prayed for Advay. I also liked very much that the first meeting was lust and not pyaar and that too in a temple. People do feel lust even in a temple, even the best of us. You don't shy away from reality with some sense of false religiosity though you come across as deeply religious.

Oh thank god, you liked that bit, because i was feeling that i am going to face a lot of whiplash for showing the Hero lsuting in a temple. But having said that he is godless man, tho chalega, but nevertheless it is in the courtyard and not in the main temple, so i guess its not too bad. But you are right, lust can surface anywhere. I once had a man who tried to grope me in Tirupathi when we were queuing up for Darshan, so yes i have had first hand experience of it. Lechers exist everywhere to take advantage. But thankfully in Advays case he loves her, and so is struck, both are struck by cupid. It also has a positive effect, as it is a Shiva temple and they struck by cupid, under the blessing of god himself. I think it was a good scene for sure, as it reveals many layers of the dynamics of the relationship of the two. and the banyan tree that has borne witness to everything.

Loved the episode. I am calling it an episode instead of a chapter because you write so descriptively I can imagine very well. Now I am scared of what I will imagine when the dominant parts come. 😳

OMG now i am really flattered, Is it so descriptive, WOW that is the best compliment ever. Dont worry about the DOM parts, its good fun, high on sensuous content, jsut make sure you keep a husband fully charged next to you if you have one, If not then a cold shower is a good idea, or try doing bhajan keertan HAH!!!

I have a request Chitra and it's a big one. I know from your recaps you know a lot about Shlokas, mantras, rituals and puranas. One of the few things I assumed about Chandini was she was a Shiv Bhakt. But other than the stupid Bole ki Sainik dialog that almost seemed to mock her faith and mysteriously disappeared after some time, I never felt she was any Shiv Bhakt or any Bakht in the series. I want to see that part of Chandini please and the Sanskrit scholar if possible. Make her a true Mahant daughter please. I know you will come up with something wonderful.

TBH i had decided not to take any reader requests for this story and to keep it as tight as possible. BUT this request is a quite relevant and i have already written some parts that involve what you have requested. The story also has a philosophic content, more than a religious content. I have included the sanskrit scholar aspects, i will elaborate on that a little bit more for sure. 👍🏼

I think more than religion, it is her attitude towards life that will make her shine as a true Mahants daughter. But like anyone she has her weaknesses too and there is only a point to which a person can be pushed. But her character is a really sweet yet intriguing one in the story for sure. Advay entralled me to start with, but it is Chandini who has surprised me the most so far. So keep reading.
