As usual my post is not to glorify any lovey dovey scene so please stay away if you think this is negative 😛
So today my attention went to the set in which they shoot Advay's house. A huge 2 story high ceiling setting ... the whole rooms and elaborate larger than life buildings since the very beginning of this show... reason why the show might have been categorized as big budget ...
So my question is ...does it matter the least bit to viewers? For me personally this looks like utter waste of money which could have been invested in improving other aspects of the show (get a real writer maybe 😉) ... No one is gonna watch a bad show just coz the set is beautiful ...rather the set seems to take up more attention than necessary even on frame. Cant they not choose a more simple are aesthetically pleasing set? At the risk of coomparing with another show, in RKC they are supposed to show a royal palace and for that they seems to have a much less colorful but more sober and softer set... it looks royal but at the same time real and like a place ppl actually live ...
Sets on these shows looks more gaudy than forts in Udaipur to be honest ... those forts have at least got an earthy element about it ...
Or are the makers of all these shows trying to show that hero is like Ambani and every set has to be like Antilia? 😕
I seriously recommend IF to add this to their list of things Indian TV should give upon ... this obsession with unrealistic huge sets which doesnt look or feel like home (not even house) but rather looks like ball rooms ...
That set for Thanhayaian series was pretty great idea ... looks real and beautiful and screamed money too ...
