What to watch after Oct 6th...

Hello lovelies...I think most of us are still in trance after last night's episode...

So this post is about the question...what to watch after 6^th October ...of course we have THMS to look forward to and hotstar is always there but if you feel like something different ...then what?So here are my few suggestions...Would love to listen from you all...long post alert J

So for me, the only shows I've been loyal to...or you can call emotionally attached have been always connected to Barun...mainly for me IPK3 and S1 as well. I do not remember any time in the past 5 to 6 years where I literally felt like crying after hearing the news of a show being shut down...and believe me there could have been many ...as my family is a typical TRP contributing junta...I can call out all the K soaps from early 2000s to the latest ones...So yeah...that's how crazy and emotionally I get attached to this guy's shows...Usme kuch baat hi aise hai...Don't you guys agree?

So anyways between the time where S1 ended and S3 started, I used to keep in touch by watching Barun's interviews etc...but there are few other good things I was able to catch ...Let me share with you all...

I love period dramas and BBC produces some of very good dramas...below are a few I was able to check out and I loved them

Pride and Prejudice , 1995 BBC series Those who have not read the actual novel , no worries this one exactly portrays the details upto the T and Colin Firth sigh!!! The perfect Mr.Darcy. Do check it out

Emma ,2009 BBC series - Another one by Jane Austen and though I am not a big fan Emma's character ...I always felt she was a self-centred character...I watched this one for Romola Garai and Jonny Lee Miller...Both have done a super job...Romola is a beautiful actress...and JLM has done a fab job as Mr.Knightley

North and South, 2004 BBC series This is the adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell's novel with same name. It has Richard Armitage playing the broody, scowling, arrogant mill owner Mr. Thortnton...special mention to the background score for this one...it's really good

I am typical romantic person...who loves happily ever afters ...and a Jane Austen fan...So now you can predict what kind of a sloppy romantic person I am haha . The first actual novel I read was Pride and Prejudice and I loved it...Actually the 1^st one was The Hound of Baskerville by Sir Arthur Conon Doyle but it doesn't count since it was a part of school syllabus...So yup ... J

Now who doesn't like beautiful looking heroes with skin as smooth as a baby? Well you got me right...During this period I was able to catch few romantic Korean shows...and let me tell you these Korean heroes are really pretty you know...with not a stitch of hair on their face...Beautiful I would say. Korean dramas are in general short... may be of 16 or 20 episodes. Below are few...

Something about 1% - Romantic story where the leads are in a contract relationship...huh ...does it ring a bell...you heard it right...It's not only our ASR who loves contracts is it...haha J Both the leads are cute and its quick watch...I finished the series in 2 days...

My Secret Romance- If you are looking for something hotter...you can check out this one...this one starts with a one night stand , then she disappears and they meet after 3 years and the story starts...This has loads of kisses and a good looking lead couple...

Suspicious Partner - A romantic thriller drama with another good looking couple. MLs GF cheated on him and FLs BF too...Both are lawyers... A slow-burn kind of romance

Bride of Habeak - If anyone interested to catch fantasy kind of romance...go for this one...the ML is a water god!!! Really...and he's 2800 yrs old...the story is like the FLs family is cursed to be god's servant...Though it did not garner much rating while its run ... I followed the entire series... the leads do have a good chemistry...Again a very good slow-burn kind of romance

Coming to some of the initial ones the saw:

King of high-school savvy- First of Seo-In-Guk's show I saw...the ML has double role where one of them is an 18 yr old highschooler...he takes his brother's position as a CEO in an MNC...falls in love with a 28 yr old Unni...it's a onetime fun watch...

Hello Monster(I remember you) If you are looking for thriller with a slice of romance ...you should check this out...Even this one did not garner much ratings during its run...I personally like it as it was a different genre...kept me hooked and obviously the leads are good to look at...

Noble,My Love Another contract love story...But this is a web series...Short and sweet..

Reply 1997- High school drama ranging for few years...A nice one again starring SIG

So that's all I remember as of now lovelies ...Will try to add more if I recall and I hope this is not against the forum rules or something or if I am going to be reported for this post for promoting some other shows...if yes...do give me a heads up anyone as this is a first of its kind post I have created here...Do share your suggestions too and thanks for reading the long post J

I'd recommend some Pak dramas. Try Yakeen Ka Safar, it's a good show! <3 My ultimate recommendation would be Zindagi Gulzar Hai though.
