Utter crap in the name of intense romance? What romance? It's just an abusive guy and an Abala sacrificing Nari's hate story!

Sush I am sorry but this story has nothing in it, other than showing a woman being abused for entertainment in Prime time Indian TV. No offence guys, but if this is what you consider entertainment in India, no wonder women have such a hard time! Why not buy some popcorn too?

Hi Darcy...and you know what they are all cheering how great granny is...like seriously? Seriously, this is the most regressive plot till date ( and I have only watched the first season, QH and tanhaiyaan till now) ever seen apart from the whole distasteful marraige sequence of the show we are not suppose to name and QH. Gul actually likes to promote weak female characters...if not weak the female characters have to be evil vamps. If not for Sobti I wouldn't watch it... I just started watching it again after reading the episodes were better...and now ...character defamation, physical abuse and a spineless female lead.

Thank you for making the post Sush 😊 😊
You rightly said hate is just a four letter word but so is LOVE 😉
But for Advay to Chandani to reach to the point of loving each other from this hate its going to take lots of emotional roller coaster ride.. many heart wrenching moments.. 😭
I am personally not the fan of violence and torture in screen between the Leads in the name of intensity but I have already invested my emotions in this show hence going to watch it till i can take it 😊
By the end of this week when Chandni settles in Raizada house I want her to see her without crying and not taking all the crap that Advaya throws at her at least not giving him back.. I am eagerly waiting for the educated amd sensible FL that we were promised
Please Sush don't stop making posts.. your posts are always give the bettwr insight to the episode 😊

I know where you are coming from but the story and writing is very poor, so you just don't feel like it's justified! It's like they are having fun at the female leads expense and enjoying her desperation! Gul is very sadistic and likes to see her FL's humiliated and downtrodden. If not they would not have got one of the female leads of IB touch the feet or her stalker to prevent her sister in laws wedding from being stopped! That is not giving room for creativity. There was non there and there isn't any here!

This is all about showing FL as Abala nari for ratings! Nothing else! There is no real story. If there was, they wouldn't need to press reset on the story and bring in clone of ASR 1.0! Simple as that!

Sush,
You cannot afford to take a break. I watched yesterday's episode only because I wanted to participate in the discussion, so nope, no break for you. Janta maaf nahin karegi 😆

I wish makers loved Chandini as much as you do, because then she would be relatable, understandable and consistent. The way they treat her character with utter laziness, I won't be surprised if someday she turns out to be Manjullika🤢

@Shwets
We as audience observe minute things in the scenes. If we can have that capability, then aren't makers supposed to be better than us? I have had terrible problems with the role and the FL. Her voice modulation to monotonous expression, everything needs polishing and yet directors give least importance to her acting. It's as if they take it for granted that Barun will compensate for her. Nope that doesn't and shouldn't happen.

Why is everyone tagging Nani as mahaan? For many many years women has been subjected to domestic abuse. A lot of young girls have even lost their life to harassment. If every household ends up having a Nani, how will women ever be free from abuse? Who will give them the strength to fight the abusers?
I know this was done to bring AdNi under one roof and I will be fine with it as long as the justification is just that. But calling her mahaan will really mean something else

@ranjitha : - Nani is someone who has good moral compass in her life. And she raised Advay and she is confident that her grandson is not going to physically torture this girl. That is why you can see Advay was so disgusted seeing Shakun - Ranjit's affair. He was always truthful to Chandni and even in the wedding night he didn't touch her. Even today Advay asked Chandni about the baby. He is more angry that Chandni is a woman who can disown her own child.

Nani also asks the same question to Chandni and after understanding that Chandni is keeping quiet for her family she knows that this girl is morally strong. And she does feel that Advay once he knows the real Chandni will understand her and let go of revenge - Living with the constant feeling of revenge is destructive. Like Nani says - Fire doesn't just burn the house where it started it burns everything near by. She is doing what a mother can do to help her kid heal.

Nani is going to be Chandni's support - She is confident that her grandson is not going to physically hurt her. That is why she forces Advay to accept Chandni in house. I seriously don't think there will be any physical torture - Might be we having more of Advay taunting Chandni and hurting her with words. I just hope they show Chandni trying to figure out the reason for the hatred of the whole family against her.

For Advay -

From the deepest desires often come the deadliest hate.
- Socrates

For Chandni -

Rejection is a common occurrence. Learning that early and often will help you build up the tolerance and resistance to keep going and keep trying.
- Kevin Feige

For the first time I can connect to Chandni. She truly is the loner. Despite her doing everything for her family she has none to back on to. For the sake of the family, her sisters, her mother she took a decision to come back thinking that atleast nani is there to take care of her. Atleast nani understands her silence. For her nani was that proverbial olive branch for her. Could she stay back at the place where she has been humiliated and disowned? She does not have that courage. So yes for the first time her tears made sense to me.

Do i like to see her cry though😒

Nani
Today I am not sure if she is right or wrong by throwing Chandni to the wolf? I want to root for her. I want to tell her that nani I wish that there are more mother in laws like you but i am sceptical. Can a lady just live in the house because she performed some rituals? She knows upto what extend her son can go so what is the guarantee that Chandni will be safe in her house especially since she is not blind. Yes they all respect her. Yes they don't go against her yet Advay went against her and disowned Chandni. Did she not tell him that now he will be hurting her family yet he hurt Chandni so how can she be sure that it will not happen again. How can she be sure that the girl will get justice as a human being and then wife especially when Advay has masi with her.

Pooja - Not sure if she is the real sister or cousin. For now Chandni has someone who can actually be her sister. A beautiful soul just like Chandni.

PS - Can someone from that set throw away Chandni's chappal. Now she is Mumbai and not Banaras

PS1 - Precap is hate story ko kya naam do? Chandni needs to stop her tears. Even when she speaks to her mother. - Bol diya bas bol diya

PS 2 - I agree Sush there has to be some content to write about the episodes. One has to connect emotionally to both leads and story. Makers are confused and are making us go crazy.

So many things happened today

Naani was blind as a result of that terrible incident 16 years back
Chandni came to Mumbai with Naani for Indrani
Naani believes God has made their match for some reason
Naani knows the baby is not Chandni's
Naani made Advay promise he will let Chandni stay
And also he will respect the marriage
Naani made Chandni promise she will not go back
She wants Leela and Advay to move on from the past
We got to see Advay change to Cheeku when Naani fell down
Murli welcome Chandni happily
Shilpa went with Pooja to help with the Griha Pravesh
Pooja already supports Chandni

Chandni Mama scene was emotional
Chandni took a family photo with her too

Griha pravesh BGM was Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya
That was very significant and symbolic

Naani was right to make Murli take away Adi from there
He does not have to face all the negativity

Barun change of expression was so fluid
One moment he was grim taking Chandni by hand and walking off
The next moment he turns and sees Nani fall
The change in his expression from grim to horror and despair
and then leaving her hand and running back
Perfectly done by our super star

She is also right when she said that revenge ruin everything
Harming others can never bring true peace
Nor can it make any one really happy
But Maasi and Advay will not understand this now
They have hatred in their eyes
