You're not alone, my friend. I haven't even watched Monday's episode. This disconnect started on Monday for me and has solidified today. I just don't care anymore. My fault to have such expectations and get invested in a dark romance/revenge saga when it seems like we're heading towards a semi-IPKS1 rehash.

The original story for this show had so much potential and if the makers had done a better job at executing it in all fronts, they probably wouldn't have come to this point where they needed to keep changing tracks, giving whiplash to the EXISTING audience, for the sake of TRPs.

I just read the WU today and was startled by how quickly I became uninterested. I'm done being taken for a ride (and not the good kind) by the CVs.

The problem is not in Advay's but Chandini's characterization. Even if we go by the logic that 'This happens in India and this is indeed a reality', then the makers should have opted to show the reality from Advay's POV and made Chandini stand against it to show the nayee soch. Advay is supposed to be wrong so he can go all low, be mean and all of that TRP aunties care for. But why cannot they have the guts to show a woman who can fight for her self-respect, if not for anything else? But all Chandini does is cry ! She was ready to go with PP, got married to Advay, took the so called blame for her hypocrite sister's child and now is back in the Raizaada house to be treated like shit.

Everyone in the forum is enjoying Sobti coming back in his full swag as the CEO/mathematician/high jumper(remember the swing episode)/adarsh Bhai, mama, potah, phupa and what not. But what about Shivani? The creators ruined her character in just two episodes. From a strong headed daughter and a role model sister her character has been shrunk to a displaced abla naari completely at the mercy of her in laws and monstrous husband (now i cannot at any cost think that Advay was ever attracted to Chandni). Please save our girl.

Very true and I understand your disappointment. Even I wanted a dark theme. But let's face it the makers did not have the talent to pull it off. All that silly stuff about treasure, snakes etc were such a turn off. From the beginning they should have stuck with revenge but a la baazigar style. It would have been awesome but they screwed up. Trps were bad. I am guessing that they got a warning from Star. So desperate times call for desperate measures

Right! I mean I didn't start nor do I watch for the actor. It was always the concept which interested me, and now it's gone for a toss!

'High jumper' LMAO 😆 Maybe he's an Olympian as well? I'd put nothing past CVs.

Shivani has been let down big time by creatives and how they've done jack all for her character's development. I mean the fact that they showed Chandni come back with Nani to the house of the man who defamed her in front of all (showing ZERO conflict btw, you wouldn't have thought he even knew her personally let alone was best friends with her in childhood) - I mean I can't sit around and watch Chandni suffer. I am protective about her and attached to her and that's precisely why I can't watch 'cause as of now it looks like she's gonna suffer even more, as if she hadn't already been suffering all along.

Hope Shivani's character gets its due - and by that I mean finally gets some focus by the CVs to develop Chandni's character. For starters, show her break through the haze, remember how that beastly 'husband' of hers humiliated her, and show her sway that cute ass out of his house after she gives him an earful.

But I've realized this is expecting too much from CVs.

Am also very disappointed.

I don't enjoy Saas Bahu serial, which is why I stopped watching serials for a long time.

Then I chanced on this Show last month and got hooked on to it - coz it was a story of Angel turned Devil, who was walking alone on a dangerous path of restoring justice, in a completely new place packed with wolves.

A lot of loose ends in his revenge saga still left untied ... And today... bang.. Back to Saas Bahu serial - hero with a big family - a child - a Nani - not to mention a ready made inhouse vamp - hell, he is not a Professor anymore - not even a mad scientist but a businessman on the same lines of other shows - and I got disinterested immediately.

Yeah, the Man flashed a nice charming smile with all teeth intact, for a second time... But it couldn't keep me hooked up with the story.

Same here. I don't mind physical actions against both ML and FL as long as it serves the purpose of giving depth to the story.

Like i said i know tge difference between real and reel and nothing i see On tele can influence my views in real life.

Evn i am shocked by this sudden change. I wouldn't have minded this revamp but after we got enought time with Advay's revenge and a proper closure to it.

so this was expected for me

Honestly i am more comfrotable with urban love-hate stories...but i am open to new one and liked dark revenge story too

so its fine with me

I get the need to cater to the audience but my disappointment is well justified coz i was promised a dark love story not a mills and boon one.

Not to mention they didn't do it right from the beginning and when the did get it right the changed the entire track.

But no matter what I loved my rowdy professor ,his tricks ,his dialogue ,his revenge ,his charm ,everything .I m so happy Barun Syed ASR1.0 so well and made us connect to his evil side and cheer for his every win .

Hopefully they keep the basic storyline same .I want Revenge and the give me that .

The problem is that not a single actor has been able to keep me hooked to a serial without it having a good storyline. Not even barun. So maybe they will get a good trp now but they may very well lose an audience in me after the stunt they have pulled today.
