Shylock's power-packed words going back centuries. Yet no truer today for Advay Singh Raizada than they were for that luckless, miserable old man so many eons ago.
He walks around with this sea of pain banked in his heart, ready to roil over at the slightest trigger. And how. Just the sight of his Nani sets him off and Bitwa hugs her, crying like a baby😭 She jests about London Goris missing him in a bid to stem his tears and staunch his pain. Tries to talk him out of his vengeance laced vendetta with the Vashishts. He simply lays his head in her lap and asks "amma baba ko kya moonh dikhaunga?" 😭
This is of course after Bitiya and her Behnas have made him walk nails/glass shards strewn pathway, ostensibly to make him realize that "Chandni ko choona itna asaan nahin"😲 So for that moment at least, his heartache is matched by the physical wounds, and he is in no mood to pay any heed to Nani's soothing words and pitiful pleas "Beti damaad ko kho chiki hoon, ab aur kisiko khona nahin chaahti" Bitwa thinks she is afraid that he will lose, when she is really fearful of him succeeding! "Doosron ko jalane ke liye aag ko khud jalna padta hai"
Bitiya apparently has a change of heart😕 Meets Bitwa again in front of Ganeshji, offering a bowl of hanldi by way of amends. What follows is Trithya version of cross-wired communication. Bitwa, in his inimitable hate fueled half-sneer half-smirk proceeds to educate her about his true intentions. He vows to destroy her and her beloved family. She, on her part, continues to spout vague niceties about the virtue and morality of her parents. Each such adjective lands on Bitwa with the force of a hammer, well-versed as he is with their truth. Turns out she was in Banaras with her Behnas, when all the satyanaash happened with Bitwa's family. So she is at a loss to understand his motivations. Plus the fact that she still has not been able to draw the line from Advay's haq-filled pronouncements to Dev's equally love-and protection laced commands. In her case, seems ignorance truly is bliss.
Nani's entrance bodes well. It brings much needed emotional anchorage to Advay's actions. Barun outdid himself today. We are quite familiar with his thespian skills, but the fear was if they were a bit rusty from under-utilization. Today's episode is our answer. As much as I liked Shivani in the last two episodes, today her remembrance of Dev fell far short. Did not ring true, and really that is not her fault but the scripts. If we had had more instances in the past episodes of her remembering him, it would have worked far better. Specially since today she declared that she wanted to marry no one but Dev😲 Yet she recalled him not once during any of the many rasams she was doing with PP Baba!
At the risk of repeating myself, today's episode belonged front and center to Barun. He does the whole "ragon mein daudte phirne ke hum nahin qaayal, jab aankh hee mein na utra, toh lahoo kya hai?" routine so well⭐️⭐️⭐️
So a hattrick of good episodes👏 Will not talk about the parts that I didn't like. Moonh ka maza kharaab nahin karna.
