I am a fan of Shivani Tomar for the confidence she oozes despite all the negativity that surrounds her. It takes a Shivani Tomar to do justice to Chandni despite being rejected time and again for no mistake of hers. It takes a Shivani Tomar to put aside the unfair comparison between two characters who are poles apart and hence the requirement and still be able to be on her two feet and play the perfect Jodi for The Barun Sobti with elan.

You said it all so perfectly
No need to add anything else

Nothing is missing in her
She is doing an excellent job here
She is the perfect Chandni for Advay
She has the right mix of emotions
She is not exactly supposed to be chirpy and bubbly
Her character is more of a mellowed down type
That is due to her past history of being kidnapped
She was lacking confidence earlier but now she has it

Thank you for your nice post ...she is shy, she doesn't look chirpy but she is good in emotional scenes ... that is EXACTLY why I like her ... She is a perfect Chandni .

I loved Sanaya as khushi , Surbhi as Zoya Farooqui, Surbhi C as Annika ... But all those characters are very very different from Chandni character ... The Indian TV world is full of such wonderfully talented actors , it's such a pleasure to watch all of them. Shivani is talented too and she comes across as exactly how Chandni should be.

I really don't care how she comes across in off screen segments , I never watch them , I don't watch any spoilers and I only watch the 21 minutes of the show ... I think she is doing a good job despite all the backlashes against her , she stood her ground with dignity.

* this part is not about your post! I have seen girls/ women go berserk on Shivani calling her B words and all kinds of terrible adjectives ... I'm amazed how one girl can put down another girl in such an awful manner. Women already have a tough time in this male dominated world , can we ( women) not become accomplice in this cruelty ? I appreciate you writing nicely .

again infinite likes to your post
so well said words

Frankly speaking i am done watching this ceaseless chirpiness and overacting among our female protagonists, but still shivani is such an elegant blend of maturity, innocence and even chirpiness which looks so real and not fake, right amount at right timing !!what more do you want yaar guys...she is a full package , sooo bful ,steady, classy and innocent, all that is needed to play Chandni!! I respect your opinion but pls don't see what others want u to see, make ur own perspective and things will fall in place!!

Being all talkative and chatty in offscreen segments is not confidence!! Time to embrace the change and love sensible ppl around

@bold i so so agree with this.all these offscreen seg have made ppl having such misconception. Being jumping talking nonsense is not always confidence.holding urself gracefully infront of others saying right things right time is what more important.i find shivani really graceful .truly a welcome change fr me atleast .hope she dont change with fame .god bless ❤️

True
Being over active and talkative is not exactly confidence
At times a serene calm way of handling matters is also being confident

We are so used to stereotyping female leads as either over chirpy or unwantedly upright that a subtle and graceful female actress is a foreign element to us 😆. Common people Shivani belongs to the new brigade of actors in Indian television who are venturing for newness and creativity rather than popularity. Frankly speaking I am eagerly waiting for Shivani Tomar in a web series. You go girl. 🤗
