Is there seriously nothing else to show?

Although, I was skeptical about the overtly bright setting, obnoxiously designed wardrobes and bad makeup, the only thing going was Barun and the characters motive. But, now I am clueless...what is the motive here...is he still contemplating revenge...if so how does one engage in continuous flirting ( whatever it is). There is no authenticity in the story anymore...you don't really have to engage in flirtatious behavior and whatever else he is doing. He has harbored hatred towards a woman way too long ...it doesn't make sense for him to rescue her from her fianc. What are they trying to portray that he is falling for the person who apparently is responsible for his parents death.

PH,please decide what you really want to show...you advertised it as a revenge drama...it can't just turn into a love story...are you not confident about your original plan?

But of course if you find it too illogical, then this show is not for you for sure,, I am sure star plus offers a variety of shows targeted for a wide range of audiences, You could always watch other shows that suit your preferences,

This show is for those of us who love a dark hero and who will eventually fall madly in love with the very woman he tries to hate,

you have to know all the strengths and the weaknesses
He is doing just that
Chandni is a pawn that he will use in this game
So he has to impress her and take her into confidence
Once she is on his side he can play it easily

Hi, thanks for the explanations. Thanks for your suggestions too. But, I find your tone extremely offensive and patronizing. I don't watch Ipk3 but just read updates...and that too because of Barun Sobti and as an admirer of the original ipk. Anyways, barging in and bulling wouldn't really help. But thanks anyways.

OK here is the premise of the show. Dev wants to destroy Chandni because she caused the destruction of his family - Hence he has come back as Advay. He remembers everything about Chandni - his playmate on whom he would boss around and who was his to tease and play with. He still doesn't know why Chandni did what she did 16 yrs back. When he teases her he reverts back to his playful childhood days - He is enjoying her antics because they so remind him of his colorful childhood which has beautiful memories in it. Yes the show is a revenge drama - But it is more of Advay trying to hurt Chandni because of his revenge but unable to do so because at some level he is Dev, Chandni's best buddy and Chandni's protector. The tussle is between Advay and Dev and once Chandni knows that Advay is her Dev she is going to understand what she did and she has to walk the redemption path to heal advay and make him her Dev again.

If you just read the updates you can understand the story as to what is happening but unless you watch it you never know if you want to continue or not. So I suggest you give some episodes a watch and see if this show is for you. If not you can move on and watch other shows on SP or on other channels.

Thanks for a constructive answer. No, I don't watch Indian serials at all. I came upon the original IPK by chance and loved the pair / chemistry...henceforth started admiring the lead pairs work. When found out that there is a new show with Barun...got very excited...even wanted to watch his pairing with the new actress...gave the couple of episodes a try but I unfortunately I feel there isn't any chemistry...it's seems forced. Everything seems very loud and maybe it's difficult to visualize and perceive Barun in such a role or attire ( although just reading updates couple of times a week) after his immensely passionate portrayal of the original ASR...I haven't watched anything else than QH (until it was ruined) and Tanhaiyaan...

I would rather have you watch and complain than not watch ... 🤗 PS I don't feel Chitra was being patronizing , she was being ernest in trying to explain what she felt the story was trying to convey ...
