Does Shakun's husband have something to do with Chandni's kidnapping?

Chandni was kidnapped a year ago.

Shilpa said Shakun's husband has been out of the town for a year as well.

That time frame can surely not just be a co-incidence.

Good observation about the timing being similar!!! maybe there is something in it..what could be the motive?

i have so far suspected indrani and veer as two candidates who might be kidnappers!! but sm of the motives i attributed to them dont make sense to me yet...

I think Indrani was behind the kidnap, Shakun's husband found out and Indrani blackmailed him into leaving...

Intriguing thought... Hope Indrani had not offed him the naagin way. That lady gives me creeps.

Personally I am hoping Indrani is not turned black and is executed a grey character. As she said whatever is apparent may not be the truth or something along those lines. Hopefully Washe would be given a strong reason for doing whatever she did (or didn't). Even if the reason is not a sufficient excuse, should atleast generate sympathy for her actions. Feel it would be more fun with Advay hell bent on revenge and Chandni so loyal to her mother.

Coming to Chandni and Indrani, it is curious how the first person Chandni calls for help in the Jhoola scene is Shikha and not Indrani. Usually the first person you call out in terror is your mother or father or may be a life partner.

What are your thoughts on Advay being responsible for kidnap if he is not the kidnapper himself? I think the makers are keeping that option open too. Would be dependent on the extent of the 'anti-heroness' audience is able to tolerate. Of course there should be proper redemption and stuff and they keep Chandni a strong character.

No, Advay is not the kidnapper... remember when he burns her dupatta and gives her his jacket.. when Indrani and her sisters are questioning Chandni if it was the kidnapper again, she says no yeh jacket us ka hai jis nay mujhay bachaya - I feel that was foreshadowing by the writers... the kidnapper will surely come back and Advay will save her from him...

Also, the kidnapper physically hurt and tried to drown Chandni... that is not really advay's style of revenge

well, Meghna is pretty useless - its always Shikha coming up with new ideas to solve problems
