August 1 st Update:

Not much to say about today's episode...it was alright...but nothing made a big impression one way or the other to write about...

Two things that come close are

One Advay sitting in his room reminiscing his childhood days...although the transition from that to totally be in the mood to enjoy his muse was a bit abrupt...

Chandani apologizing...she looked very cute and adorable...

Other than that...

Indrani was good today...and so was Mr Tanatan...👍🏼

Shivani was totally into the role and one could see she is enjoying playing Chandani's character...⭐️

My favorite scene was...when he called her cute...and she just stood there smiling when he asked her..."Sharma rahi ho"? That was really a cute moment! 😃

Sush.. actually I loved today's episode.. atleast Bituwa's theda smile expression for past couple of episodes changed to the rebuke of cheap trick expression & silent communication with Bitiya, the painful memory (lovely snippet & Sweta's pics in this thread) & finally the last segment of eating noodles (actually that is totally Barun)...

Plus:

• Finally saw the pooja ghar in background, though the Mahant family is so modern that it doesn't believe in praying...
• Kracking dialogs by almost every character.. but loving Chandini's comebacks esp at arms distance from Bitwa..
• thankful for night scenes esp if they are in nightdress.. it is so much easier on the eyes..
• Loved how they showed (finally) her freeze up when he comes really close.. today (at least for me) I saw for the first time Chandini express absolute terror when he backs her in his bedroom.. was disappointed that Advay didn't seem to be oblivious (screenplay/direction 😡 issues).. but then she takes few steps away & becomes sassy.. his BadhBadh again..
• Absolutely loved her salam.. I think I was complaining about it in this thread just yesterday..

Minus:

• camera guy went back to zit-zit-zit mode..
• the non-stop flashbacking even to just yesterday episode felt like one step forward, two steps back.. can use that time to show interaction between other cast members.. somehow this is holding back the tale...
• Too much slo mo.. feel like shouting hurry up guys..
• Wardrobe (sigh).. we went from clashing colors to uniform.. as mamaji says.. Kya yaar..

All in all this ASR reminds me of Pratham trying to win back Srimathi phase.. the same semi amused I have all the aces expressions.. all it requires is the dialog "Its ok.. haq bantha hai tumhara.."

Loved the highlighted part. Watched both the epis together so not sure if the smirk by her was today or in yesterday's epi. Liked that as well.

I thought today's episode was better than yesterday's. Today's episode was lot more subtle and I love the kids.. They are super cute and act very well for their age.

Advay's scene with guitar was a welcome change and I must say I loved it and wanted more of it.. He dowesnt need dialogues to emote and I hope Gul remembers that.

But, in that scene I missed the transition. I wanted Chandni to witness his dard, although for a second. That could give her a chance to retrospect , or at least sow the seed of doubt.

My wish list is way too long 😆

Sush I totally loved the episode. Advay is someone who stays calm no matter what. He can turn the tables on and that too easily. Chandni and her sisters learned that Advay is the master manipulator whereas these people are amateurs.

Also I think the reason we had the pensive thinking and emotional advay is to remind the audience that Advay is there in the house for revenge. This is important as audience needs to know that even when Advay is pretending and laughing he is broken down from the inside. It is important when the revenge track starts for audience to know of the pain Advay has been dealing every day.

I totally love the choti Chandni - Chotu Dev scenes. Both are adorbs. And Chandni has this never say never spirit - She can't accept things lying down. And when she does the punishment Advay is totally reminded of their childhood days. He immediately asks her to stop the punishment. He still has tender feelings for Chandu - Makes me wonder how will this guy even hurt Chandni ? He seems to be someone who can't even see her in pain or in trouble.

It was a treat to see Sobti with tears. His emotions are bang on. I thought Chandni did see him in tears but this scene did not transit well as you said. The kids are adorable and the cute scene was out of sync especially since she knew its meaning.

They both can not forget the childhood bonding. Like Chandni should have acted while seeing him in pain same could have happened with Advay when Chandni repeated his childhood dialogue about being murga.

There are so many instances but seems like creatives are just concentrating on tom and jerry part now for the leads.

I am happy that rowdy professor has that shatir dimaag to understand the amateur act of chandu and her sisters. He can not see her in pain and yet he wants to inflict pain to her. What a dilemma it is indeed.

Both the actors are doing a great job. I liked Chandni's shirt. I will not call it blouse but the design is good.
