I acutally enjoyed today's episode.. the trick was pretty hooo hmmm.. not to the level of prof with his scientific experiments.. but rather copied from Kirkut chotta bhai.. yet seemed to do the trick of pulling a fast one on ASR..

I loved the first scene of removing duppatta & her names for him.. one thing I wish she had done was copy his salaam... which I love Bitwa doing.. with so much ada & style...

Small favor.. the ugly nose ring is replaced by simple stud for all... but like we discussed the camera guy was doing too many long full frame shots... forcing us to ogle the ugly ensembles the poor cast is made to wear.. wonder when they will rebel.. though liked simple saree of Chandini..

You didn't mention the scene of Mommy dearest & Bitwa.. wish the camera guy wouldn't have done his zoom.. zoom trick.. the scene was sizzling on its own.. would like to see these two interact more.. hopefully when Advay is trying to show Chandini her mother's real chehara...

All in all good episode.. though they would give some meat to the scenes so bitwa can bring in more acting chops.. rather than the crooked smile that even Bitiya is complaining about..

My hubby comment... in passing while I was watching.. thank god I am not an actor having to wear such hideous outfits... while wearing the same expression all the time... 😆

Yeah that! I found that scene a bit weird...not that she was worried about the bad fame and requested him to move out...but just the way Indrani did the namaste to him...with her back towards Advay...may be too much of an attitude for a guy who owns the mortgage of your house...May be a bit more courtesy was warranted...

Yes 8 PM is not for mature content. And reg all out evil ML I am not saying its the best. I am saying this is what initially they claimed & even then i was wondering if it will work out for Indian TV audience. So the 1st step it self is a misstep. This 8 PM slot is now becoming a prob for STAR. Post IPK1 nothing worked for SP in this slot. So they r really desperate & that's why they went back to the IPK franchise which was a hit for them 6 yrs back. At that time IPK even if it dint top the TRP always featured in the top 10 & it had 1 of the toughest competition from Balika Bahu which was ruling the TRPs those days. There were times when IPK1 even cracked the top 5 (not frequently but still).

Right now the makers, Channel, actors all r totally confused how to take this fwd. Hence all this see saw & inconsistency

🤣 This was just too funny, Sush...IDK what to say. Most of the time I am trying to decipher out the costumes, I think. 😆 Yeah, it looks like the camera guy has made peace with it!

My two cents:

Epi was OK, though I still would prefer lesser Rabba Veys- but if everyone else is enjoying it, I hope the makers are in the right direction.

At the risk of sounding matronly- I didn't expect that prank from Chandni. She is just doing tit for tat- this is the spiritual side of Chandni? Well, he did make a spectacle of her by sneaking her out on the terrace, so she should be justified...Not visited the main forum yet, I wonder if anyone has called out on the inappropriateness of a FL tainting the image of an honest😉 Maths Professor.😆

That is actually not an issue for me. The bigger issue here is, Advaiy is justified in thinking Chandni is not innocent and can play one or two dishonest moves.

Not that we are supposed to even analyse this gesture, beyond the plot device to make the FL end up feeling foolish, throwing out the ML who is going to protect her honour. 😆 But knowing how the story is going, even that may not happen... which is fine...😳

Actually, I have watched Balika Vadhu in bits after the bahu ceased to be a doormat... and went ahead and married a guy of her choice even after her ex husband begged her to take him back- it was one of the most progressive shows...and very well written too...Though it did get a bit too monotonous for me to follow till the end. But whatever I watched- the content was good.

Ok coming back to the post after the epic pic..

I liked that they showed at least a glimpse of what the FL feels.

This story so needs a specific script (like ipk1's first 150 episodes, and some tracks after that)

Though I love Advay and Chandni scenes( unnecessary rabbaves are really getting into my nerves), I feel the supporting cast is not getting much importance. I even still remember buaji's sahelis who said "chain no ka dukaan"from you know where 😆

Such is the brilliance of an amazing script!

Typing between a really busy day so pardon the quick take, I will come back add some more, if time permits. Oh, I am going to sum up yesterday and tonight's episodes, both, that have been a riot and fun so far.

I must be wearing rose tinted glasses, Sush, for me the episodes belonged to Advay. It was he who won the end game and it was he who brought about the change in the equations, both with Chandni and with others, whatever little he has there with them, that is. AND I did like the little scene they had with Chandni, both, yesterday and today. Gul Khan is back with her signature style and how. 😛

I absolutely loved the crisp episodes thus far. The editing and the direction is bang on and the screenplay has improved too. Plus, Atif is doing a real good job with the scenes of the leads. I think if we see the show from Week 3 in retrospect then the makers have shown both Advay and Chandni to have progressed to a stage where they unabashedly are falling for each other, imo. Actually it would be correct to say that Advay is already in love with her, but he just doesnt realise it yet. For Chandni, the attraction is new and she is enjoying it too, considering that she takes him as Advay and not Dev. The romantic scenes and the banter seem to be working well for me.

Not to forget, the subtle nuances, like Shilpa mentioning to Murli about taking care off Advay and the scene of Indrani apologising to Advay in broad daylight for the goof-up, was so very well included into the episodes. And the tit for tat from Advay, albeit a tad bit juvenile, was done well. 😃But something tells me that this built up is all for the bigger battle that Advay is gearing up for. And the scene where Advay reminisces his childhood was good too.

All in all, the show is back on track and the upcoming episodes seem to be interesting. There is a good balance of a little bit of everything and there is also a healthy mix of the scenes from the past that carry the franchise forward and touches of new ones too. The marriage is on the cards soon and I say, bring it on. 😃

Before signing off, a word of appreciation for Sobti, I loved his expressions in both the episodes. From sombre to amused to interested and then gobsmacked, oh how the man does it with finesse.😳

PS The striped suit and the pants today reminded me off convicts, someone get Sobti out of those. But why am I even complaining when we have feathers coming up, for real. 😲😆

PPS That picture of the family with denims 🤣 Where is our dear friend Shweta? I wanna pat her back for this one. Shweta how in the world did you manage that? It was hilarious to say the least. 👏😆
