Yes he actually need to break the Team of Indrani & co. to extract truth or to get hints, also we have got hints that the two maashi s are not happy with Indrani dictating them all time(first epi, bhoj wala epi) ..for this purpose he need to make his ground strong in the haveli without getting into anyone's suspects...and romance ...people are complaining about no pyaar and some are getting bored with pyaar...who is right?!?!?!?!!!

4 Lions shows do have a story and I watch for the story. Coming to the Day to day content, sometimes the shows are a drag. Bored of the push, pull, fall, BG music that passes off as romance in the 4 Lions shows. I understand some parts are added only for the TRPs, usually I manage to identify them and try to ignore.

Watched it for the chemistry of lead couple?

Chemistry does not matter so much to me. But it is a 'nice to have' thing.

Watched it putting up with background music?

Don't mind the rabba ve so much here. It was more irritating in the season 1. Hate the overused BGs in most of the tv shows anyways.

Watched it after the editing disaster?

Sure. Choti choti galtiya tho maaf hai.

And still justify the shortcomings?

I feel like the justification is needed to counter-act all the bashing that is going on. Feel the show is being judged very harshly and it is still better than many shows at the age of 20 episodes.

About the Costumes, I am trying to tell myself that the story is happening in an imaginary town where these are the clothes the townsfolk wear. In my head, I call it GulNagar or Char Sher istan. Clearly the designer is inspired by SLB, they should have taken cues from him and made the location of the events a fictional place.

Justify the the technology?

Justify the loose plot?

Do not feel the plot is loose yet. It will happen eventually to all daily shows, but not yet. Gul as a producer would not let it happen, I trust her. Yes, there may be some additional or some twisted tracks. But the main plot would still carry through. It was the case in Geet, IPK1, so yeah, the plot would not be abandoned.

Justify the inconsistent character development?

Did not find the characters inconsistent. Do not expect the FL to sit and cry in a corner if she does not wish to. Its ok to be cheerful even if bad things had happened.

Its still ok for the FL to be NOT touch averse to the guy she is attracted to. Especially in today's episode, she tells all the things that attract her to advay by the proxy of Rachna.

Would you still give it time?

Sure the story is interesting. For me Barun is the initial draw, lets see how the anti-hero part of the story progresses. I would continue to watch as long as there is no physical violence or any implication of it, which I have found in the other show of the same PH and discontinued watching it. All the blackmail, revenge, games should be about wits, plans, strategies, cleverness, don't mind the science stuff too but should not be too rough.

But that said, I doubt anyone other than Barun Sobti would have been chosen to do justice to Advay Singh Raizada. Upar se Gul has offered him roles in all of her projects i.e Ahil in QH, Shivaay in Ishqbaaaz, Haider in Tanhaiyan and now Advay in IPKKND, barring Humsafars.

I started watching this for barun but now I'm hooked to the story like how everything going to unfold even though the screen play has some flaws but hey this is indain TV sometimes you just have to go with it not everyday it can be perfect!

No matter how much I didn't want to for variety of reasons , I gave ipk3 a week just for Barun . Heck I have watched every work of his including all ads . Loved his work in BHPH ( his comic timing is impeccable)and ipk 1. In spite of all the things that are not going good for this series ( even if it's my opinion ), I watched it only for Barun . As much as I resisted watching ( just as I would have if it had only Sanaya ), I couldn't not watch and give it a try . I Have always felt that he's one of the best actors . Just couldn't connect with this show . May be its the direction or screenplay or story . I just disconnected . Although I found a few takes here in this forum that I liked making me watch a few episodes randomly , I think I have stopped having that interest to come here in this forum now and hence the need or interest to watch the show is completely gone . And sadly I realize now that I stopped watching it has nothing to do with S1 ( as I thought so earlier) as I don't watch that either . And the people / friends that I had fun watching ipk1 or ipk 3 with have stopped too ... Everytime I have critiqued it, I was asked the reason why I was watching it . I guess it was only for Barun to be true . And ultimately all those ' stop watching ' and ' get losts' did have their effect .. May be this is moving on .. . And I realize I am a fan of his good work ( again what I might connect with ) and not him( no offense please) .
I will wait for his next project and I wish him well for this one .

I haven't watched an Indian serial in almost 5 years - only watching IPK3 now because I found out Barun was going to be in it.

No I watch only Barun Sobti serials. Else I'm not interested in the general concept of serial itself. I'm extra happy he has got an amazing co star shivani tomar who is so sweet on and off screen. The storyline is attractive for me. Childhood sweethearts to strangers now with a dark past and revenge. I like it. I love all the other characters too. Murli shilpa indrani lipstick ki kasam aunt shikha veer. I don't want to overlook the positives. Atleast to me, this show is great.
