Party is on full swing , he is waiting in his Car observing people around him. The loud music from the house could be heard till parking area. He could see every soul wasting themselves because of thick glasses wall. Thats a see through terrace. He checks time on his watch and sigh. She is suppose to be here half an hour before. Why haven't she reached here yet?
He taps on steering wheel as the patience in him started to fade. Just then, he saw a glimpse of her. There she is in beautiful red traditional dress. She just stepped out of the car and waits for the person on driver seat to step down too. A man with large curls step out of car , he smiles at her and she hooks her arm around his. She looks quite comfortable with his presence. Advay didnt even realised when his palm have turned red. He had clutched his hand in to fist that his nails have actually digged into his palm. His eyes had turn red yet he had a smirk on his face. He had a plan and was sure it will work.
"Time to meet me again. Chand!" He whispered and unlocked the seat belt.
Inside the party, chandni is having fun she rewarded herself with orange juice and sat at the corner of table. She could see veer standing on the other side talking with some girl who is practically falling on him. She chuckled at him, he can never change. Play boy! She mentally said.
Party became more interesting when the host began with some games. She had nothing to do so she walked up to the host trying to understand and listen what he has to say.
" hey friends. I hope you all are having great time. Just to make the party even better lets play a game. Have you ever thought of saying something to someone. But were afraid of response and never tried it. So here is a chance. We have two bowl here. One 1 bowl men i want you to write your message on paper and put in it. And this bowl is for ladies. Ladies! Please repeat the same task. Then 1 by 1 we will open the messages and read it. Let's see how many secrets people have in their hearts. But just a small request dont write your name in it. Let it be surprise! So ready? 1 2 3..." He signs waiters and they starts to distribute pen and paper amongst guest.
Chandni took a paper and pen and kept it aside. She was not going to particpate in it. She saw veer picking up paper and pen for himself and then his eyes met hers. He sign her to write and showed thumb in air.
A small smile crept up her lips. She took the pen and started writing her thoughts.
She looked up and smiled. "I hope he will notice its me." She looked at veer and folded paper. Soon the papers were taken from guest in to bowl and one by one host started to read them. Every message almost were read except what chandni wrote.
"So here is last paper, lets see what this beautiful lady wants to say. , he opened the paper and smiled.
"Someone wants to meet a girl behind the house. He says car number 4220 is waiting for her." Host started reading and then suddenly his brow knits in knot.
"Inhone kuch likha hai as if signing to someone
"Chand ki khwaish me parwana jal gaya
Chandni ki khwaish me ye dewaana jal gaya"
Crowd yelled "oooh" who is the lucky one.
Chandni heart began to accelerate she somehow knew Its for her. She clutched her duppata in fist. She looked here and there in suspicion trying to find out who wrote it.
"Hey!" She jumped out of skin with a voice behind her. She turned quickly to check who is owner of this voice. Its veer.
"I am sorry if i scared you." He apologized with a smile.
Chandni nods her head in No and chuckles.
"Nahi . aisa nahi hai! " she brought her hand behind her neck and sigh.
"Tired?" Veer asked
"Hmm.. Can we go home?" She gave a tired smile.
Veer checked around him and then eyed her back. " okay. If you say so." He shrugged his shoulder casually.
"You wait for me near the car i will just wish friends good bye." Chandni nods at him and whispers yes.
Everything was over lighted. Even the parking area as if Its not party but wedding reception. Show off! She rolled her eyes at thought. Chandni spots veer's car and walks upto it. She waits there for veer to come. He is taking a bit long. So she took out her phone and tapped random button just to pass the time.
"Waiting for me?" She hears a husky voice just behind him. Her eyes widens and she turns to look at the man. He had her eyes caught in his. He refused her to withdraw eye contact as he speak.
"I am sorry" she said in a weak voice as if she is in trance.
He chuckled before he said " you took long to come here." He signed the car with his eyes.
And then it came to her.
"Tumne mujhe yaha bulaya hai. Wo letter tumne likha tha?" She had an unbelievable expression on her face.
"Badho ko aap kehte hai. " he snapped taking a step close to her in threatening.
She instantly reflexed with a step behind , making her frame lean on the side of car.
" aap thoda peeche rehke bat kijiye" she turned her face other side with her eyes closed. Afraid about action of man standing infront of her.
"Look at me." He whispered leaning more on her. He breathe on her hair.
The close proximity made chandni more nervous.
She tried to put distance between her still refusing to look at him.
But she failed miserably!
He gave a side grin before putting two finger below her chin. He forced her to face him.
"Open your eyes. Now!" He commanded not a request but an order.
Chandni wanted to refuse it but her body gave up on his intense voice. She opened her eyes to see him.
" you turned out more beautiful than before." He gave a smug look at her while her cheeks turned a shade of pink.
"Aap mujhe jante hai?" She asked trying to recognize his face in back of her mind.
Nope! She dont remember seeing him before this night.
He leaned back and took few steps away.
" more than you know yourself" he remarked with a side smile.
"When...i dont remember you meeting before this-"
He closed the distance with a quick short steps " you think too much. You should give rest to petite brain of yours. " he caressed her forehead and she response with shutting her eyes. His touch, his presence and his voice were soothing her innerself.
"I dont know you. How will i remember you for next meet. " she asked as if challenging him to reveal his identity.
" aa-haan?" He gave an approval nod . she impressed her somewhere.
She heard her name being called from farthest corner of parking area. She knew veer was coming her way.
She looked at him and smiled as if throwing challenge with a smile.
" i love this game." He leaned on her. " and You know what? I am unbeatable in it." He gave a nod in pride.
With that he took her by surprise and pecked her cheek.
He moved off her and started walking away.
"Now you have reason to remember me." She heard him say. All chandni could do is bring her hand over the place where he kissed her. She still could feel a tingling sensation of his lips over there.
Chandni turned around when veer put his hand on her shoulder to bring her out of trance.
" where are you lost? Comeon we are getting late. I have to drop you home before going mine."
She absentmindedly nods in yes and follows him to his car.
Behind the pillar closed by stands advay standing in full glory . His eyes locked at chandni's every move. As if tiger aiming at prey ready for hunt. He stood calmly as he watched her sitting in the car and then the car disappearing from sight.
"You want reason chand? I will give you all reason to remember me. In good or bad way, i will make sure i will engraved myself in your mind and heart. " he said while replaying all the events in past. She killed the little dev she knew with her own hands then now its time for payback!!!!
"Game is on chand!"...
