Chandni is a girl scarred by past and terrified of life. Shivani is doing a good job with the role. I can see a girl trying to smile in front of her family, show herself as strong. But, when she comes in contact with the outside world, she is so terrified, she can't help but shake in fright. I think, Advay is going to take advantage of her scared nature and lack of confidence, play mind-games with her to exact vengeance in the entire Vashisht family and of course, fall in love with her in the process.

But back to the matter at hand, Chandni is definitely a terrified girl, innocent and scarred by the past.
Without drawing any comparisons, I like Chandni so far. Her clothes and make-up though...it hurts my eyes. But that's a topic for another day.
