We have all watched episode 1 of ipk3 and have our points of view. A lot of us think it was not at par with the standards we wanted... Some think the costume is ott and some have problems with the scenes. With due respect to everyone there are 4000 cities and towns in India and over 6 lac villages. What we handful find ott might serve the purpose of bringing those audiences along. The makers need to close the gap between us and them somewhere... Where Advay might be as per our asthetics they need to show things will which appeal to the larger audience. Not sure how many of you know but one of Gul's shows got scrapped in another channel due to low trp. No one starts a show to see loss. If we don't have problems when movies promote a product why cry over Chandni drinking 7up?

Anyway... Please be patient... We will have a good ride am sure. I have trust on Barun's choice

Of course, everyone interests have to be researched and the show should be made. And they are doing just that. Nice post @TM👏

Thats a fair point. But one that will hardly work. Why do you think we dont watch most of show on TV? coz they are made for family audience ... And shows that work for them are always a bit too regressive for younger audience.

One cant cater to everyones taste but problem with show so far is poor production value which doesnt make any difference be it drama or romance. Balaji for example make the most OTT shows but they have good camera/music and editing.

I know everyone is pissed off with the editing... Especially Barun's entry was absolutely rushed. I think for the first time Gul's hero and heroine were not supposed to meet in the first episode as per the story. The addition of advay was done at the last moment. Hence you do not see him in the entire episode later. My guess is star thought barun needs to be there in first epi since they promoted him so well even if its just a glimpse.

Having said that i would still like to give them benefit of doubt for 2-3 episodes and see where the story goes

I hope its a one episode mess up due to creative conflict... like you mentioned SP wanted something, PH had something else in mind :)
