What the heck was that?

What the heck did I see in the name of IPKKND? Half hour of the cheapest grandeur ever on TV. How did SP approve this trash on Prime TV? Hmmm... knowing TRP junta's love for this kind of stuff, I'm sure Gul has taken this route to please TRP audiences.


Firstly, how the heck are we supposed to take this show seriously with the characters wearing tents & curtains? This seems to be the loudest most garish & crass looking wardrobe than the ones seen in all of Gul maata's shows put together. The anti-hero says, "Welcome to hell Chandni." (Quite an original, chalo its Gul,maaf kiya) Isn't she already living in hell. See her saree!!!


So this girl is kidnapped and tortured for days that renders her incapable of leaving home? And is this the delicate darling that our puppy saving Bahubali inspired hero going to torment in the name of revenge? Koi massive cult level show lag raha hai!


There seem to be more villains per square feet in this show than ever before.
Everything is so freaking loud and melodramatic, with excessive references to the past.


So is this the path breaking kind of progressive TV that Barun was looking to make his presence felt in!? Barun you are no Prabhas and Gul is no Rajmouli. Barun you don't have the brawn to do a Bahubali on me, Thoda kha peeke aao to manoon!
And Shivani, please don't use your mouth all the time for emoting. Have you heard subtlety in conveying your emotions? Maybe your eyes can help in conveying the turmoil in your heart! Try it!!!


Gul mata, I am not as creative as you, so will use a description I saw some where for your creativity- W*F***ery ki factory!!!!


The best and most adorable part of the episode was the cutie puppy, with most value and screen presence!


This show will work on TRP audiences, they love crass!!!!!


I know it's early to judge the show, but the first impression wasn't up to the mark.

Haha my biggest problem was that godawful editing and melodramatic affects. Really did my head in. But for now I'm hooked to the story itself and want to know what's happened in their pasts so I'll stick around. I can understand why the first episode leaving a bad impression can be off-putting, but maybe trying following it for this week at least?

Hope the editing gets better lol.

Tum log kal se baat tou aise kar rahe ho jaise IPK1 koi masterpiece tha lmfaoo. It was an average show with no story whatsoever. Online types love it due to its romantic, look-look-hawa-hawa nonsense and nothing more. I honestly know that most of you have no clue about Indian television whatsoever or even Gul's production from QH. It's loud and over-the-top but kaunsa show nahi hain? Gul has been loud and OTT for years now. But you guys clearly haven't seen her latter shows but feel free to give out funda on how IPK1 was some sort of high point of Indian television. No wonder IPK1's fanbase is widely known as delusional. Anyway, only the editing+direction+costumes were the worst bits of this show which are solvable and will hopefully be solved. I had a lot of problems with the editing and jumpcuts but the story is interesting and the leads are good enough IMHO. I had a lot of problems with the overall direction too but some people are being a bit ridiculous about this.

The editing is my biggest concern too. The scenes don't seem to connect. I'm not too sure about the way they are putting forward the story line. Too many details thrown in haphazardly.

The point to be noted is despite 20 mins of "cheapest grandeour & other rubbish" the TM WATCHED IT !!😆

Keyword: TM watched it. Too many complaints, too many problems with the show, yet watched it and made a post too. What's that word that starts with H and ends with Y?

Apart from the bad editing and costumes rest all were fine
The acting was top notch and the story was interesting
They managed to make the audience get hooked to the show
The minor faults can always be rectified
