Though I like Akash to leave as well, somehow do not like this idea that whenver public opinion does not match with our opinion, we start shouting it is rigged. It is same like loosing politicians shout after poll result.
As I have said before, Akash though disliked by many, is much more known face than other contestants (courtsey kyunki).
If the voting was asking: whom you want to kick out, Akash would have been kicked out long ago, no doubt.
But since the vote is asking whom you want to see, the votes of Aksh haters is split and the loyal fan base of Aksh is seeing him through.
Simple, no rigging. A channel does not earn financially by keeping the least popular person in.
I myself have run polls in this forum which also clearly showed Aksh is never at the bottom 2.
People like Jay, Aman (bit doubtful), Marc, Chitrashi, Mica, Nigar etc. definitely had much lesser fan following than Akash and so they left..

You are raising a good point akash08ji.........that we all tend to ignore the results if they are not per our expectations. Our first reaction is always denial. but as I said in my starting post - the reason they had Kash come in and act as contestant was to create fights in the camp.. All the campers living happily is not what the channel want. The like controversy. Remember when they ask Aman about contestants and he gave his views - both the anchors twisted it to try to create controversy. Aman simply answereed their question....
With this view - the only person who is creating fights right now is Aakash and to an extent Chetan and Anaida... so these three contestants could be the final 3... the voting has no meaning and that's why I said - its rigged.

Sme,
I agree tthat the people who create some spices are favoured and sometimes rules are twisted to keep them.
Example: they did not go for public voting when Raja and Rahul both were nominated in BB2.
No doubt, Kash was brough in to create fight.. to instigate others..
But what I am saying, they will not carry on with an unpopular candidate till the end.
Not that extreme.. otherwise they would have carried forward Mica as well and would not have kept Jay for so long..

some good points, akash ji and sme123...
true, the channels do make some money from the votings... but they also gain a lot of money from increased viewership (sp?)... and as sme123, most channels thrive on controversies... i'm sure aakash is getting votes, but i don't think he is getting that high votes... certainly he is popular aka his kyonki image... but how many people actually approve of this aakash in the jungle...?
nowadays, with multiple voting system, and with some celebs paying for the votes, it is rather naive, imo, to think that there is no rigging that goes on...
of course, there is another whole scenario where our favourite is concerned, then supposedly, it's a fair result... actually, results are never fair to be quite honest... however, if it is going to be unfair, then why not let the most deserving one win...?

I completely agree that this do happen.. multiple votes.. pauying for votes deifnitely happen.
But I wont call it rigging, anything within the declared rule/format is not rigging.
whether we like it or not, whether it is appropriate or not is different but not rigging since multiple votes are acceptable within the format of the game.

no, that is not what i call rigging either... that is simple manipulation of the rules...
but channels do rig results... for example, they would keep a certain contestant to remain onboard if it would help them to raise TRP's... controversy sells... they can certainly tweak the results a little so that overall the situation is in their favour... it's not like anybody can actually prove it...!

Akashji the public is not rigging the votes but the channel gusy are rigging the public votes...thats the diff...Multiple voting is fine...but adjusting the votes as per ones liking is what the channel guys supposedly do and to me that is rigging and I don't think that it is in any shows format...

well, my last attempt.
It has to be number of positive votes..
Will you vote for Nigrar just because you dislike Akash?
Will someone vote for Mica because he hates Akash?
Why would someone vote for Jay to stay when he hardly does anything worth noticing?
Why would you vote for Marc when you dislike him for the same reason you dislike Akash?
My point is, Akash has hardly faced any competition. The people who have left before him due to public vote(note I am saying due to public vote which excludes Aman) are complete unknown faces who people do not care to vote for.. they have no fan base or have done nothing to demand votes..
If Aksh would have defated Shweta Tiwari in public voting, I would have no doubt shouted "Rigging, Rigging, Rigging". But getting more votes than non entities does not prove anything..
Rest.. let us " Agree to disagree"
