If everything else they've picked up from online discussions, then why dismiss the labels of AU/RU?
What happened with redux was that the writers themselves lost the plot and randomly mixed in RU Shivika traits on and off creating a half assed khichdi jo na idhar ki thi na udhar ki...AU Anika anyways started using RU Anika lingo halfway like Raita phail gaya, tadi, khidkitod etc...it was the writers that diluted this, not the fans...most of the fans were pretty clear about the demarcation. What they protested was the generally pathetic writing of AU...which the writers thought would get "fixed" by just throwing in RU words randomly...and that didn't work either.
As for TRP audience...lol aise toh let's just say all of them watch shows in a half coma if they don't understand anything...haha yeh achha hai...redux may not have made sense to them but even the so called autopilot TRP audience could tell there was a difference if this Shivika were rebooting hate shaadis etc. after having already run this route. Upar se pati jaap and sari clad Anika was a notable change.
Anyways, that's all water under the bridge now...but the legacy of Shivika will only live on for the real RU Shivika...not the half baked khichdi versions in AU...just randomly mouthing the word Khidkitod in AU didn't make them so.
