The RU Shivika were my OGs and I can't believe that Gulneet are ending their journey without bringing back the focus on them but choosing to stick to the version which is an antithesis of what the original couple represents. I generally get attached to fictional characters that have been etched JUST on paper for it allows me to visualize them according to my own imagination. I am generally unimpressed with HW, BW jodis (can count on my fingertips the onscreen couples that I've liked uptil now). I am still kinda confused 'how' I ended up liking a ITV jodi, for crying out loud!😕

Khair, I am gonna miss them...didn't realize when they entered and became an integral part of my t.v. viewing experience. My Hindi daily soaps watching experience is sitting with my parents during the 90's & being forced to watch whatever they liked (they were quite strict about it😛). I have never voluntarily switched on the TV to watch a Hindi daily after that phase and I am not gonna do it ever again. Watching IB was just an aberration😆. And kaan pakadti hoon baba agli baar never to get ensnared by anything which has Gul's stamp on it. Apart from some portions of Geet, I have never had the misfortune of viewing anything by Madamji. It's baffling to see the antics of these people who have been given creative license & authority. Tauba!

Anyhoo, just wanna say adieu to Shivika. i don't think I'd be able to view & enjoy them the same way again even if Surbhi is brought back (which she won't & she shouldn't). But would say that the RU Shivika have left an indelible mark on many of us. And somewhere down the line when the bitter taste in all our mouths goes away, we will again watch their incredible journey from episode one & enjoy the rip-roaring tales of Billu & Paanika.😊

Haha I've been wanting to fit in the pool back dive in some VMs since a while and also the forehead lean in from the Goa epis but wasn't managing to make it work before...but this time I could fit them in so was quite happy with that😆

It is deffo going to be hard to find this kind of SUSTAINABLE connection for a while, if ever again...this is the only pairing I followed for so long at a stretch...most other great ones got ruined within 200 epis or less many times😆
