Thank you for writing Serendipity at a time when there was so much negativity on the show. It was a breath of fresh air offering soothing comfort.
Thank you again for writing this that will probably offer a better redemption when compared with the show..I have no hopes from. I hope your Anika stands her ground, not go crazy for his mangalsutra and show him his actual place. For him to understand his vile words, the guilt of calling her the R word. He has messed up big timeI have always had this desire to see him to make all the efforts in the world to prove that they were married...but he won't be able to because he himself made sure there was nothing left behind that could connect them to marriage. I can see that happening here.Did you discontinue your previous post marriage fiction? Where shivay still doesn't know her truth?
Fantastic update
Anika's emotions were so raw and real that I feel it too

The thunder echoed and there was heavy rain. Inside the house she was in peace, cooking.
It had been two hours, yehy had finished their dinner and were retiring to bed when the storm outside got violent. Anika remembered the clothes put out for drying in the rear balcony. She ran out asking Gauri to ensure all windows were shut. She came in and keeping the umbrella aside, spread the clothes out in the living room. They were damp.
Another howling gush of wind set the glass in the window frame to vibration. The clattering glasses filled the room with a deadening vibe. She was about to enter her room when there was a screaming sound from the window frame and a sound of glass shattering followed.
"Oh, its that broken window, I guess, the kids had cracked it with their ball yesterday." said Gauri quickly.
The two rushed to see the damage. Her eyes fell on him. So did Gauri's . He was drenched in the rain, the strong wind couldn't move him. Anika felt rage boiling in herself. What did he think of himself?
She made it to the door. Gauri called out to her asking her to let him be. Anika took the umbrella and ventured out.
Gauri sighed. She did not want her sister to forgive this man. She quickly called Omkara, informing him about his brother. But, she was in for a shock when Omkara said Shivaay deserved it.
"He is your brother Omkara!"
"Before that what he did was wrong."
"I don't understand. Don't you love your brother? He might fall terribly sick if he doesn't bulge!" Gauri was shocked. She was sure she wouldn't say anything like that for her siblings.
"He is already very sick Gauri. Let him be. " he ended the call.
Gauri looked baffled. This man was weird. Was it the same man who went wild when his brother left the hospital in rage?
He saw her stand before him looking into his eyes. He saw rage. He smiled a little. At least she couldn't ignore him.
"Go away. I don't even want your shadow to fall on me or my sister. Haven't you done enough? What are you trying to prove by standing here outside our house? You want this locality also to insult us? "
His expression turned sober. She painted him in such a dark color.
"Anika ,I just want, you to ..
" I have nothing to do with you. Nothing. If you want to do something for me, then I pray, never show me your face again. Let not your shadow also come in my sight."
Those word made him bleed. He couldn't stand her hatred for him. She was openly telling him how much she hated him. Maybthat's how she felt. Without another word he left. She stared and then returned to the warmth of her home shutting the door.

"Omkara, where is your brother?" Gauri screamed entering the mansion as she spotted Omkara seated on the couch.
"He , he must be in his room. What happened? All okay? Is Anika fine?" Concern dripping from his voice.
"Call your brother." She said blandly. Omkara quickly called for the servant and asked him to get Shivaay down immediately.
As soon as Gauri caught glimpse of the man who had turned her sister's life hell, she approached him. Omkara looked concerned seeing Gauri's evident anger and disgust for his brother.
Gauri immediately caught the lapels of Shivaay's coat and spoke in threatening voice. "Where is my sister? What did you do to her? Where is she?"
Shivaay looked on shocked and so did Om." Last night she did not come with you, so you forced her, kidnapped her? "
"I don't know where Anika is. I swear I never saw her after last night. Neither this morning nor this afternoon."
"Stop pretending Mr. Oberoi. We know your true colors."
"Stop it. Enough. I said I don't know where she is. She must have gone to the market or her canteen. "
"Well she would have of you hadn't done what you did. She can't even leave the house, it's an evil world Mr.Oberoi, no one says anything to you, but she? She has to listen to all the shit and tolerate the disgusting behaviors of guys like you. "
Omkara held Gauri back. "Gauri if, he is saying he doesn't know he really doesn't ."
"Why Omkara ? How can you trust this man? I can't, not when my sister is in question. "
"Gauri, I understand what Shivaay did was wrong but argument now won't make sense. We need to find where Anika is, that is more important."
Gauri gave Shivaay a galre and rushed to leave. Omkara caught up with her in time. "Where are you going?"
"Anywhere, I need to find Di. She night be in trouble. That is what you brother has made her life. " she gave Shivaay a cold stare. He gulped, as guilt drowned him. He immediately made a call and asked for Anika's number to be traced.
"Gauri, it's getting darker now. You stay here. We will find her."
"I can't stand in this place anymore. I will be okay." She said meeting his eyes.
"Alrihht I will drop you, It may rain any moment.I can't let you go home alone. "
How could this man be so different from his brother? While one had ruthlessly spoilt her sister's life and dignity, the other was concerned enough to not allow her to go alone even at seven in the evening.
She glared at Shivaay and left with Omkara.
Omkara drove through the markets so that they could search for Anika while simultaneously making frequent calos to track her down. He had just two prayers, first for Anika to be safe and second for his brother to be sane. He had seen the glimpse of maddening shock on Shivaay's face when he learned that Anika was no where to be found. Hopefully Rudra would get to him soon.

"Sir, her phone was last at a market near her house. There is more, Sir, Daksh was spotted in the market and they seemed to have an argument after which Daksh took Anika away."
Shivaay's anger knew no bounds. "Track that bloody *** down!" With anger his stride and fire his body language he stormed out of the mansion. No one dared to mess with his family. This man had gone too far, to his wife, he would now know what it was to mess with Shivaay.

-Anami!
It was drizzling and Shivaay reached the port. Daksh's cell phone's last location. He ran around lika a lunatic asking the people if they had seen the woman or man whose photo he showed. His security team who had followed him were performing the same drill. He ran about the place like a mad man. A little more time Anika, I m coming!
He ran towards the dock. The night was abnormally cold for the climate and it was drizzling. Luck finally favoured him. He found a man who had seen the man with a ponytail.
"Where is he?" He asked in a mad hurry.
"He took the vessel, paid a heavy sum and left."
"Was there anyone with him? How man people on board?"
"His wife was. She was asleep. He was carrying her in his arms."
Shivaay gulped in the ball of anger."Which direction did they go in?" He spoke seeing the endless stretch of black sky and black waters.
"How does it matter?" The man said smiling. He had made a huge profit.
Shivaay grabbed him by his shirt. "If you love yourself a little bit, give me details ." he barked. "Take me to them now!"
"Are you mad? If you love yourself don't venture in this weather. A storm is on the build. I had warned that man and I am warning you."
Shivaay fished out of his pocket a bundle of notes. He always kept reserve there. "Give me a vessel." He said thrusting the bundle into the man's hand.
The man eyed the money and showed Shivaay to a moderately sized ferry. It had. a lot of equipments spread out on its floor. It was perhaps used for training. The man showed him the motor and its demo. Shivaay couldn't wait for his men to find him and get to him in the dark. Anika needed him. He started the vessel in the direction suggested by the man and ventured out in the wild waters and wilder winds.
The wind flapped his coat, there were sweat beads on his face and fire in his eyes. His eyes were in a continual search for the greyish white ship.
He gulped as he saw one and he knew it was the one. He drove the ferry in the direction. As he neared it he switched off the motor. How would he get on board? He looked around. He could climb the rope after hooking it to the anchor that was visible to him. But, would he be able to do that? He rubbed his forehead worried. He looked around. His eyes fell on the ripe ladder. That should do better. Picking it quickly he got to the edge of the board and jumping he tried to get the hook of the ladder attached to the anchor of the ship. The ferry wobbled. He cursed and then shifted some weight to the other side of the vessel and resumed his efforts. He finally did it. Without second thoughts he started climbing. Luckily enough he had loved hiking and rick climbing in teenage so wasn't alien to the concept. After struggling he climbed up to the anchor. He was breathing hard. He closed his eyes momentarily and Anika's face came before him. Opening his eyes, he began struggling once again.
After some time, he finally climbed over the railing and landed on the dock of the ship. His hands reached to his pocket for the inhaler. Catching his breath he pumped. His feet refused to move. He held the railing and stood up. Anika! His anger gushed back in. He ran to the other side. He stopped when he heard Daksh 's laugh.
He fished out his phone. Still a no network. Damn it! He peeped and saw her sitting there. Slightly conscious. Though evidently exhausted. He inhaled relief.
"Shivaay was smart, but not as smart as me. He bloody married you to get you. Shrewd! But, see, you could still never be his. Tich tich. He did so much wrong Anika, he is a bad man. Look at me. What did I ask? Just one damn night! And him? Every freaking night of your life!" He screamed.
Shivaay's muscles tensed up. How dare he! In the meanwhile, His own conscious spat at him.
"You still bloody do not budge. What has he given you that I can't? Tell me . That I still had to force you. Anika I am not bad. I just freaking what one night with you." He got dangerously close to her. "You played so hard, now see how hard I can play you!" He laughed evily. "That Shivaay thinks he can get you for himself, hell, he is wrong." He said as Anika stared at him with a bland expression on her face.
"Don't have hopes high baby. He won't come to save you. Hell, he doesn't even consider you worth his time!" He laughed, and then clicked his tounge having pity on her.
He was about to lay his hand on Anika's shoulder when a hard punch made him fall to the floor. Anika looked up suddenly. To find his guilty eyes looking at her. He quickly untied her hands and was proceeding to her feet when he saw Daksh approach him. He smacked his face. "How dare you Daksh!" He punched him again. In a mad rage he raised his knee and aimed it at his groin. Daksh shouted in pain falling on his knee. "You deserve more. " Shivaay spat and got back to untying Anika. She looked at his eyes that did not even stay a few seconds after meeting hers. He looked everywhere as though making sure she wasn't hurt. How could she make him understand, that where he wasn't looking there was the pain. In her eyes.
She gasped as Daksh dragged Shivaay by the neck and hit his head against the wall. She closed her eyes, struggling to get the last bit of rope off her. The one around her waist. She looked up, Daksh had punched his face and Shivaay was bleeding. She sat still. She felt nothing.
Shivaay finally pushed Daksh back and managed to get upper hand and picked up the metallic rod and hit him. She looked at Daksh, the flames that had come into existence in her due to his touch now settled. The rod slipped out of Shivaay's hand. It rolled to the railing. The clouds seemed to loose all their hold. It was raining hard. Anika grew colder than before. She was shivering. Once again Shivaay came to her side and finally freed her. He asks if she was okay. She simply looked at him. He looked into her eyes. They were lost. Were they 'okay'?
Only when Shivaay groaned did Anika bat her eyelid. He held his head and tried punching the heftier man but failed. Daksh dragged Shivaay, punched him and pushed him. Anika finally got all the power she could gather and lifted her hand to hit him. Alas! Her muscles were weak. She couldn't hit him hard. It was barely a slap.
An enraged Daksh pulled her roughly and she tried running but her feet were not with her. He got to her and before she knew he pushed her hard. She couldn't keep her balance and she tripped over the railing and fell. Shivaay screamed her name. He struggle to get up. The heavy drops making it harder for him. Daksh saw in horror. He hadn't intended to do that. He had no clue Anika wouldn't be able to keep her balance. He looked down immediately running his hand on his head. Before he knew. He was being beaten by a mad Shivaay.
Shivaay had got the rod back and hit him, till Daksh lay unconscious. His eyes were monstrous. He screamed her name. He ran to the rear part of the ship and got the life guard and the floating tube. He threw it down hoping she would get it. He ran back, and fetched a rope and a ripe ladder. There must be a lifeboat. He ran inside what looked like a small store. He got the life boat. He chucked it down. He climbed down, the rain was getting harder. He couldn't care. All he knew was, his life, Anika was drowning.
After almost more than an hour he was able to get Anika back in board. She was unconscious and had almost drowned by the time he got to her. He had tied her feet around him and her hands around his neck and some how struggling he had climbed up with the weight. The clouds seemed as mad as him. The rain was unstoppable and the wind mad. He collapsed on the floor beside her. Both of them wet and cold. She was unconscious. He couldnt move his exhausted body. A tear escaped his eye.
