Some of the things in the scenes today are the kind that hit you with a bit of a delay...they aren't the kind that instantly jump out...like Shivaay's laughter is so much more khul ke than it was in his first drunk scene with Anika in the original...that Shivaay was so held back, it took him AGES to laugh with Anika...this one opened up and jee khol ke laughed in that mutually shared moment of mirth. Also this Shivaay never tried to hide it from her or tried to be all awkward about him laughing in front of her he just told her not to tell it to everybody caz image ka sawaal😆 but with her it was all Ok . His image can go for a toss inf ron tof her it just doesn't matter at all. i really really liked that smile of his itna khul ke aayi thi. sach main bas aisi khushi laughs aisa sukoon yehi de sakte hai ek doosre ko. In the first drunk scene he was still the SSO thoda sa stuck up yes he laughed in that khul ke too but he still ahd image and NKK hangups that held him back this one was just so childlike in that moment kisi cheez ki bandish ke bina aaya 😳
And Anika today didn't open up in the typical "loud" fashion of a drunk FL...SC played it in a subtler way from the previous drunk version of Anika...this Anika who's otherwise so sober didn't suddenly start prancing around like crazy over two pegs down...lol she didn't start laughing like crazy over every little thing...this Anika just became more BEMUSED in her drunk state...just that little bit more open around Shivaay in terms of sharing her hidden anger and her opinions about him more openly...just a little bit more nautanki than she usually allows herself to be. I found that so delightful that they decided to share their secrets who would've thought shivaay will ever talk about his parents situation to her that too so early matlab this man hardly even talks to family let alone telling her indirectly about his bottled up anger and telling her everyone needs someone which also meant him too to tell him that sab theek ho jaayega. i found that really really interesting that shivaay who himself used to go around telling the world ke Sab theek Ho jaayega today sorta needed to hear it from her that life is still not that bad that things can get fixed . abhi toh aise lag raha hai that he hugged her to comfort her to be that one person in her life whom she can unload her stresses with but asal main he never have had anyone with whom he could so he found solace in her .. AHHH😳. Rest you know how i felt about the whole emotional talk so...
Same with Anika she was such a normal girl telling him how his ghussa is too much to handle it was so cute how she let him know itne pyare se manner main that his ghussa is rather not good. she finally spoke about him about herself about her own ghussa. who would've thought anika will ever tell him at this stage ke usko bhi bohat ghussa aata hai that she will be so comfortable letting that secret out. last time it took them ages to talk about each other and then there were still topics that were prohibited zones that just got them into mute block out each other zone here they are going there albeit in thoda high state whetherwhether they remember any of it or not isn't even a thing to think about caz it doesn't even matter the fact that this is the first time they talked other than business and D which also is part of business 😆 & went this deep is testimony enough of how freaking different and comfortable they are. I toh esp esp liked how they have kept this masoomiyat in the mood ek dum do chote bache jaise sharing their miseries that touch added so much to this heart to heart.
Yes, she's not as fun as the original Anika with her mad fun words and antics but this Anika was quite sweet and cute today too...heartwarming is the word for both of them in this cute sa drunk state :) 😳 YUP
What remains constant from the original to the redux is their ability to slip into convo about all kinds of random topics...aaj bhi kahaan se shuru huye about "do do Shivaay" and went through topics like pinky promises, gussa, first laugh, such a sweet apology, video banaane ka nuskha, Anika ko chup chup ke dekhne ka confession...lol along the way NM-SC still added their quirks to make it repeat watch worthy. Sach main even while i was watching i did not expect ke yeh log itna serious zone main aaj hi chalein jaayenge . the spontaneity their ability to just keep moving despite occasional goof ups and then making them apart of the scene as if it was written like this is what sets them apart and keeps you on your toes as a viewer. you really have to focus to see whether you are missing somethign or no. it gets a little overwhelming to notice right at first watch caz itna kuch ho raha hota hai you tend to miss and forget. e.g his spit was gross but at the same time super entertaining i actually really liked the demo of the famous ghusse ko pee jaana and nikalna. very thoughtfully shown 😆 or the hI bit or mea naam kya hai, the the sorry moment. matlab who else can bring those quirks this fast and make them fit into the mood of the scene
I have to add a word about Anika ka woh sharmaana...ROFL that is the cutest dorky thing she's done so far in this redux...KRR ki kya aatma ghusi ismein.. .😆 i hope kabhi kabhi KRR aati rahe isme it was so so so cute the way she hid her face in the cushion and then him showing her the picture . it was beautifully enacted and executed in the flow of the scene. i also love how this anika even in this state is so at hoem with him so used too to his touches or him talking about her bilkul no hesitation form her side the comfort level is over the roof. she is aware of all of that that but doesn't mind or feels awkward 😳 it just works for this redux version so much even original Anika never sharmaaoed like that...hahaha...and somehow that moment still flowed naturally...no need to add more words there...just let it stay till that.
