Shivika and the Game of Chance - Page 9

I more I think about it the more I feel we are feeling that something is weird, strange and this sense of something missing and things not being quite as they should be and that all is not right with the world. This mood of the episode is not because we didn't like it but more because this was the mood intentionally created. It's what we were meant to feel and we are mirroring Shivika's feelings. Because isn't this exactly what they were feeling without quite knowing why? This sense of loss, melancholy and feeling bereft. So even if someone is playing mind games and has changed everything as they and we know it he hasn't been completely able to take that sense of undefinable loss away because their connection is so strong.

And I think it's this way because this not done merely to illustrate something to them but because Awasthi not only felt challenged but also slighted so he is hell bent on proving them wrong and therefore all the impossible odds stacked against them. So none of the things and traits and conflicts that drew them to each other exist.

Also I think we are all still processing it. We haven't seen enough to know whether we like this or not. My initial reaction was also that everything seemed lack lustre. It's only once I got over that that I realised that it's because Shivika's world is lack lustre without each other. What happens from now on and how this changes and how they find each other through this will be interesting. I am very intrigued. And I did feel all that emotion. I think what took me a little while to understand is that it's just something that I am not used to feeling with respect to Shivika. It was a different emotion. And that's why I was grappling with it the same as they are grappling with it. In fact I think NM-SC did very well to project that difference. We were all in some way reeling from it. It needed some reflection.

I think this on interestingly poised now. The possibilities definitely hold my attention for now. I am curious to watch what happens next. Harneet please see it through properly and don't spoil it.

Shivika remembering their first meeting.. people awwing over them and then their walking hand in hand in rain was cute..but to be seperated by the mentalist baba...the new changes will take time to get on with the viewers & agree the most horrid is the new daadi.. now she 's wearing saris with heavy sets.. wonder they couldnt find someone with a punjabi accent.. the actor has more of a gujrati/ maharashtran one .. she did fine in her previous show

I left ishqbaaz 7months back.I might start to watch it again after this revamp.I always loved Shivika and their love story will be good to watch once again.

I haven't had a chance to check out anything. In a cab en route to the airport at the moment. But this sounds bad. I was honestly dreading this yesterday Fary. That was one of the reasons why I took some time to process because this possibility was the first thought that cane to me and irritated me a lot. Then I decided that I am just assuming things and should focus on what was shown rather than what I dread. But obviously my fears were not as unfounded as I thought. The fizz has just gone out of this for me again. Couldn't they let us be in peace for a little while?

I am literally confused what has happened. 😆 Okay! I get it, Shivika challenges the mentalist and then they go towards jungle and we see heavy storm coming with thunder, lighting and rain which causes Shivika to walk apart from each other.

It's defo not reincarnation, neither it looks like a memory loss and it does not look like, they have been sent to past because their characters are so different to episode 1. Or the mentalist has casted a spell on Shivika which have completely changed them.😕

So what are they exactly showing! It seems like it's a season 2 of IB with same leads but different story and characters. Something like Kitani Mohabbat Hai (old EK show which had 2 seasons).

GulNeet did not make it obvious, what they have shown in yesterday's episode. So how will viewers really understand about what is going on in IB land. :/


Also they have changed Daddi, I will miss old Daddi. :( This new Daddi does not fit with O'Bros and I did not really find their bonding heart warming.

Idk to what to really say about this whole redux thing because it was first episode but I really think it lacked something. It did not give me old IB vibe. But I'll wait for a week before I judge it.

It seems like SSO does not has his Tadi anymore and he looked so lost. I really hope they keep the Billu reference in because that made SSO different to other ML. I'm gonna miss the tadibaaaz bagar billa. 😭 Also someone said SSO is a doctor, man I just can't take this. I hope they keep SSO as a business man. Hopefully GulNeet don't butcher SSO's character (or don't get rid of his old character's traits) because he is my most favourite character. ❤️

Anika does not seems to have her Kidkitod image and also her colourful dictionary lol. All these things made me love Anika's character. She looks rather shy and very quite now. Seems like they have given old Anika's role to someone else. 🥱

I feel they should have kept the original characters of SSO and Anika and only change the storyline but the makers have changed everything. It might be difficult for fandom to accept new avatars of Shivika.

Also they should keep the Paani reference for Shivika like throwing water on each other and their pool scenes because this is Shivika's signature.

Anyways I'll give a chance to whole redux thing because I watch IB for Shivika and O'Bros. I hope they give proper justice to Shivika's new story and don't waste NaRbhi's talent. :)

Also avoid forced and lame Groupbaaazi this time!

Okay this is my take on it, take this shivika redux as track like any other ishqbaaaz track, this mentalist won't be important at the end!

I have a feeling that if this redux thing is unsuccessful and it doesn't bring in the required trp the makers can easily rush the whole thing and make it out as a dream and shivika wakeup after the storm back in the same spot or in the car and then drive back to reality!

That's the best thing they are giving us a new story without even spoiling what they have created originally, it's not travelling back in time or rebirth or even season 2 it's all reversible like nothing even happened! The makers can snap out of this dream world anytime they want😆

Oh! So the whole redux thing is not permenant, just a temporary track like other usual tracks of IB?

Is this whole redux thing a Shivika's dream after they have been challenged by Mentalist?

I don't mind a new story with same leads but makers should retains the old characters of actors rather than changing it completely because it is just a huge change to digest.
