How adorable can an episode be...the little glimpse of the future had me smiling from ear to ear...
Enough of the gushing over the cuteness and back to episode...😆
So the episode starts with Annika asking Shivaay what happens then...
Have to give it to the wild imagination of the Oberoi's yaar...it's far more wild than ours...Shivaay Singh Oberoi had a time machine with him which he used to take the junior Oberoi' s and Dadi through different possible outcomes of their future...
Anyways Shivaay replies that .Their kids will grow up...they themselves will grow old and eventually die...but then their kids will go through the same pressure from those distant relatives, those 4 log, media, society etc...the cycle continues...
Have to agree with the guy here...this is a vicious circle...no matter what happens people love to look into the lives of others and belittle them...
Like Shivaay said it starts from the time you take birth...the burden of expectations...When you are studying people ask you about your mark, rank, percentages ...Once you are done with that they ask about Job...and then shaadi...then bache...phew...
Meanwhile Gauri points out the other side of the coin..Another facet of life...pointing out her opinion that if society asks them to have children there's no harm done...Children are that happiness that everybody should get...that blessing of God...fulfilment of love...spreading happiness through the lives of the couple...
She asks them to imagine the first time they take their baby in their arms and the baby smiles at them...When the baby calls you Papa for the first time...
Such an adorable scene with papa's princess Shivika calling Shivaay Papa...while Annika tries to get the baby to call her mumma...Shivaay teases saying that maybe the baby doesn't know that Annika is her mother...
Such an adorable scene it was...with baby Shivika, Rikara n Ruvya and their parents playing with them and admiring them...A glimpse into the future...😳
Gauri tells them to imagine the happiness When the child takes her first step...The romantic version of Parenthood...
While our ever practical Shivaay paints an alternate picture...He explains that thanks to the TV and films that romanticized parenthood n motherhood we look at only the bright side...while the truth is that it changes everything...including the lives of the couple...
He portrays a scene in Omkara-Gauri's life where the conflict arises between them because Om thinks that Gauri doesn't have time for him...and is always concerned about Rikara only...He thinks that her priority is Rikara while he doesn't matter for her anymore...
he says angrily that if he had known that Rikara would come between them like this he wouldn't have agreed for a baby...This picture leaves Om and Gauri scared...
The picture where because of the baby the husband wife doesn't have time for each other...When we tend to fail to chart out our priorities...
In Rudra-Bhavya's life...Rudra comes home from party at 3 and switches on the TV while Bhavya tries hard to get baby Ruvya asleep...Bhavya switches off the TV saying that she got the baby to sleep just now and doesn't want her to wake up again...
She reminds him that Ruvya is their baby not her's alone and Rudra stays out of the house and now she has to manage everything alone, and had to leave her job...Rudra gets angry and tells her that she left the job for Ruvya, not for him...He tells her that he didn't want the child , but it was she who wanted her...so she herself had to bear the burden...
Bhavya says that he was running away from his responsibility like always...while Rudra tells her that he is staying away from the house as he is fed up of Ruvya's constant cries and Bhavya's Drama...Rudra and Bhavya are shocked by this...
This being the example of the consequences caused by an unplanned pregnancy...Rudra n Bhavya's scenes reminded me of Tej-Jhanvi to a great extent...Rudra MIA from the lives of his kid n wife and staying away partying , like Tej who was fooling around with Svetlana and always absent from the lives of OmRu...Meanwhile Bhavya like Jhanvi gave up on her career to take care of the baby...
Meanwhile Annika is unable to make Shivika sleep and brings her to Shivaay who is sleeping early because he has an important meeting the next day...Annika is upset and tells him that she can't sleep at day or night...He asks her to manage it alone for tonight...they argue about it with Annika saying that it isn't easy to raise a child while Shivaay tells her that it isn't easy to take care of business...
They end up fighting about how Shivaay isn't spending time with her and the baby but has all time for his business...She tells him that he has lost interest in her because she has dark circles and has become fat...
She tells him that he has changed a lot...He tells her that he has changed...Their relationship has changed...taking Shivika he says that he will go...while Annika tellls him that it's his house so she will go and leaves...
And with this Shivaay points out conflicts that comes out in the lives of the couple who try to juggle their career, personal life and baby...
How adorable was the way Shivaay handled Shivika when he and Annika were fighting in the imagination session..😆
The baby really listened to her dad n kept quiet as Shivaay and Annika fought...Papa's princess...😛
As this imagination ends Annika tells Shivaay that she can't fight with Shivaay ever...and Shivaay agrees that it must not happen ever...Reminded me of the time when Annika said to Shivaay that she can fight with the entire world...but not with him...
But he drives home his point that having a child is a beautiful turning point in life when it happens with wish, not by society pressure...
Though I'm trying to understand where society's pressure came anywhere here...nobody was demanding babies from any one of them as far as I remember...but liked the message...and it's cool...
Bhavya agrees with Shivaay and tells them that first Rudy has to grow up and then only she will think about having baby...
Yes please...You don't know the tantrum this guy threw in the park and the gul he khilaoed with those Titliya at the party when he thought you were pregnant...😆
Meanwhile Rudra says that he has to become chachu twice and then his turn to become papa can come...
On asked for her opinion by Dadi, Gauri says that though she hasn't thought of that, she want to become mother...As babies bring happiness to the lives of the couple...babies are great responsibility, which she is ready to face as they are the blessings from God...
Om says that he is with Gauri on this as her happiness is his happiness too...But clears that whatever happens he would try to be a better father than his own...so that his child will not have to go through the pain he and Rudra had to go through...
To be frank I'm so glad that Om said this...and I'm so proud too...And I honestly believe that Obro's will be perfect dad's when time comes...they would be going all out by the jadoo of the babies and Will be playing to the tunes of their little angels just like Pari made them to...meanwhile the girls will make stricter mom's keeping a check on their husbands from pampering the kids too much...
Dadi says that When they are the ones to take up he responsibility they should have the right to make choices...but adds that She would want her eldest bahu to give her the good news soon...Annika is sad and is about to leave when Shivaay holds her hands, stops her from leaving and asks her if she is ok...
Have to say my heart broke for Annika at that time...Especially after remembering her happiness and the way she was blushing in the morning...everything went topsy turvy in a couple of hours...
Annika tells him that she understood that he wasn't ready to become a father yet...and leaves from there crying...
"tum theek ho annika?"
"main samajgayi hoon. k aap tayyar nai hain.."
" aur tum!?"
Shivaay realizes that something was off with Annika and follows her...Meanwhile Annika hides the Apron..(I'm thinking that's what it was..)...
Shivaay asks her if she is upset because of what he said of not being ready to be a father yet...while Annika says that he said what was in his mind and it should come out on time...
Shivaay asks her what she was hiding...and she shows him the Tiny apron with Junior Shivaay written on it...Shivaay then sees the cradle that she had decorated...
The look on Shivaay's face as he realized...Not even in his distant dreams he had seen this situation...He had just said that he didn't want to be a father that too in front of Annika who thought she was was pregnant...
"Aapko fikar karne ki koi zaroorat nahin hain, aapko baccha nahin chahiye na toh.."
Trust Shivaay and Annika to put the others interest over their own...Annika is ready to not have the baby because Shivaay isn't ready to be a father...while Shivaay is ready to be a father even though he doesn't want to be just because Annika wants to be a mother...
"Esa, sochna bhi mat tum. Kya kehdia maine bahar aur tum par kya beeth rahin hogi Annika. I'm so sorry, I'm sorry Annika. Tum paagal ho kya? Tumhe batana chahiye tha na mujhe?..."
Angry that she thought of aborting the baby because he said he wasn't ready...
"...Subha nahin bata payi toh bahar bata deti, why didn't you just, just.."
"Main aapko pareshaan karna hi nahin chahti thi, main nahin chahti thi ke.."
"Yeh, yeh news sun kar main pareshaan ho jaonga? Tumhe lagta hain main pareshaan..okay I'm sorry..."
"...Main janta hoon maine abhi bahar kahan ke mujhe baccha nahin chahiye lekin iska yeh matlab nahin hain ke..ab jo hain so hain, Annika I'm with you. Main tumhare saath hoon. Jo bhi hain yeh baccha hamara hain. Tumhara, mera, hum dono ka..."
"result kuch b ho annika..mai tumare sath hu.."
"nine months hai..mai ready ho jaunga"
He tells that no matter what he will be there for her...Shivaay kisses her hand and they hug...Ok...the last part of today's episode had me crying like a baby...
Precap: Shivaay is waiting for Annika...Meanwhile Annika comes and tells him that the test result...
Knowing that the result would most probably be negative my heart breaks for Shivika...ðŸ˜
It's gonna hurt them badly...
