The W*F starts with Anika. Okay, I could understand her going on stage, but she just stands there like a deer in headlights while being manhandled and insulted by disgusting jerk? The same character that quit multiples time when Shivaay insulted her and can pick herself up then move on like it's nothing needs THIS job that badly now 😆
Also, why did she leave them all behind? Because she was mistreated and didn't feel valued. So, it's okay for strangers to mistreat her, but not her family...epic facepalm.
It would have amazing if she beat that loser, but it was another wasted opportunity.
Then there is Gauri. In DBO, Gauri could spot the crazy from a mile away. She was plotting against Svetlana now she is getting emotionally blackmailed over sindoor and MS dialogues from the vamp. I understand her faith is vital to her character, but I can't believe she is shown being sympathetic towards the vamp..
The lack of interest in the female characters is disappointing, man.

I was cringing over the Aniri's scene. This is exactly why I didn't want them to be sisters. Purely my opinion, but sister tracks are the absolute worst tropes on daily soaps. Anika doesn't even get to interact with Sahil and Gauri can't see her sick mother for the plot. Two long-lost sisters married to cousins is a recipe for a overdose of crying, sugary scenes, and meddling. Let's be honest, the whole sister track is banking on the actresses only, but the chemistry between the actresses isn't going to save this when the writing is subpar. If "feeling" each other's presence is how the track starts and not conversations then I can only imagine it will get even more cringey in the future. Fingers crossed one of them doesn't get a cancer track.
Shivaay again with another fake wife for the world. Stop it, already.
I can't really blame Omru. Disappointed that Om didn't throw Tej in jail, but everyone is in mahaan mode.
Jhanvi is back to being the vamp now that Roop is gone 😆
Nothing to say about Bhavya because she was never the sharpest tool in the shed so I was expecting much from her anyway. She is only around because someone wanted to show-off their power.
