Gauri who was looking at the bright moon with eyes brimmed with tears quickly rubbed her eyes and turned to Omkara.
She kept looking towards the tiled floor without uttering a word.
Omkara moved forward and embrace her in his arms . After gathering lots of courage he spoke with closed eyes.
"Gauri I'm sorry that I have to leave for Germany all of a sudden .I'm sorry ! Forgive me if u can.
Saying this he hugged her tighter and a lone tear escaped his eyes. Gauri could hear his heart beat increasing rapidly and she wondered whether something more was bothering him.
Omkara had left her for some work for quite a number of times and she would console herself with the thought that it was for the betterment of her husband , but this time she didn't feel right. She didn't want him to go.
Contrary to what the situation was perceived to be , the truth was that Omkara was lying to her.
Omkara Singh Oberoi who despised lies was lying to her soulmate .Even though he lied he didn't feel a bit good about it. The idea of lying never pleased him , moreover he was lying to the one who his heart beat for.
Hugging her he felt like telling her the truth as his heart couldn't take it . But he refrained from doing so ...
9:00 am , 20th Feb
**''Om , we'll have to leave by afternoon , if not we won't be able to expose Veer sooner . He's been escaping for a lot of time and I can't let him win again'' , said Shivaay.
"Fine Shivaay I and Rudy will make the arrangements asap ''He turns to Rudra and says , "Rudy we'll have to inform Gauri and Bhavya too , they must know what a devil Veer is and that Anika bhabhi was just pretending .''
Saying that both Om and Rudra were about to leave the room when Shivaay asked them to stop.
He requested OmRu to keep the secret between them as they can't afford to take anymore risks. Knowing how cunning Veer was he could not afford to let more and more people know about his plan else Veer would be alerted.
Omkara didn't like the idea of hiding things from Gauri , they had already gone through a lot of misunderstandings in their life .He didn't want more to enter. As he thought about the misunderstandings he came to a realisation that they haven't really sorted out any of their assumptions and that they've been continuing the relation based on only "VISHWAAS.
Shivaay snapped Omkara out of his thought and before he could say a word , Shivaay said " Please Om , for Anika , for this family . I'm sure Gauri will understand once this Veer issue is sorted. It's better we keep it to ourselves . Please promise me .
Omkara was still not convinced when Rudra spoke " Yes O , I think we can manage it. We shouldn't worry Bhavya and Bhabi . Moreover someone has to be there for preparing for my wedding na "
Omkara sighed thinking that at the moment when he was surrounded by inner conflicts Rudra thought only about his marriage . Not just that he was at so much ease with the idea of hiding things from his to be bride.
Omkara soon gave in as he couldn't let his brothers down and thought that Gauri would definitely understand .**
6:15 pm
" Omkaraji , I won't lie to you . I am disappointed this time "
"I'm sorry Gauri
"U remember the last time u went to Germany you promised me that you would take me along. "
Gauri's words pricked Om's heart...he broke the hug and looked into her eyes.
"Not this time Gauri , I need to get some mess cleared and I don't want you to fall into all this .''
"Mess ?!?''
"Yea there's something important to sort out , that's why Rudra is also accompanying me .I'll tell you everything once I'm back. Trust me .''
"I'll miss you! Can you promise me something ?''
Omkara hoped she would ask something that he could absolutely fulfill . He didn't want to break her heart anymore.
"Promise me that you will come back within 2 days.''
Omkara kissed her forehead and caressing her face with the back of his hand he promised her that he would try his best to come back.
At the moment Gauri thought about their wedding anniversary which fell on 23rd Feb. She had lots of plans in her mind regarding this day and Omkara's sudden departure to Germany didn't please her a bit . All she could wish was that he would be back soon.
It's not like Omkara didn't remember their wedding anniversary,two days ago he was so excited thinking about the day he made her his soulmate. He regretted what he'd done with her and decided to rectify everything and promised himself that he would give her all the happiness she deserved.
But who knew destiny had other plans , when Shivaay and Anika informed him about the life threats they are facing because of veer and what could happen to his family due to all this his mind got completely preoccupied with all family concerns.
The idea of celebrating his wedding anniversary with his wife took a backseat.
Even before he could ponder over why Gauri asked him to come back within 2 days, Shivaay and Rudra came to their room.
"O , are you ready ? Come on we should leave , it's getting late.''
"Yea Om please quicken up.''
Shivaay told everyone that he was taking Anika away to the best doctor available in the country for a medical check up.
Om hugged Gauri once more , patted her cheeks and said "take care .''
And soon he left leaving a sad Gauri behind.
That night Gauri couldn't sleep .All these days when Omkara was near to her , both of them couldn't take out enough time for each other as they were too engrossed into family matters and now when she wanted him he wasn't there.
She didn't call him as she thought he would be in his flight.
Omkara not being there made her so restless that she took his pillow , hugged it and started crying. "I love you Omkaraji''
On the other hand Omkara , Shivaay, Rudra and Anika were busy planning ,plotting and gathering evidences against Veer.
Things weren't going the way as Shivaay planned it to be. Suddenly Veer left the house and his whereabouts weren't known to anyone. But it wasn't like he stopped troubling them , he once again attacked Anika .
Without wanting to take anymore risks Shivaay told OmRu about his plan and they headed for it with Anika.
Veer was not a fool as Shivaay thought him to be . He came to know that it was Anika who was pretending to be someone else and that all the three brothers were involved in this when he saw Jaggi's hair come out of his turban on being dashed by Rudra accidentally.
His anger knew no bounds and all that was on his mind was revenge . He couldn't stand the Obros laughing together as he felt that they were laughing at his defeat.
He was just looking around when his eyes fell on Omkara's chirayya , Gauri.
He thought what if he could not get Anika he would do anything to destroy these brothers.
After he left the house he researched on the back history of every Oberoi and he was fascinated by one whose was the most unexpected.
The little plan he made in his mind was enough to shatter everyone including Shivaay , as it would hit his beloved brother the most.
21st Feb 18
Gauri was sitting in the hall with a gloomy face when Bhavya came and asked her what was wrong.
"Nothing much Bhavya , I was just trying to call Omkaraji , it's unreachable.I hope he's fine.''
Bhavya felt a little sad seeing her .
"Bhabhi , don't worry, even Rudra's is not reachable at the moment . I think they didn't activate their sim . Dont worry they'll be fine.''
"HMmm...''
Omkara and Rudra on the other hand were too busy searching for evidences against Veer and tracking him.
To lighten up Gauri's mood Bhavya said " Bhabhi let's go out. U told that you wanted to plan some surprise.''
"Oh yeaaa , I just got into the moment and forgot the surprise .
"Yea Bhabhi, let's go...on the way we'll eat your favourite Gol gappe's too " said Bhavya excitedly.
"I'll change and come "
Gauri wanted to plan a surprise for Omkara on their anniversary. When Omkara had left she was too overcome by sorrow .It struck her now that he promised to be back within two days and she should trust him and start preparing for her surprise.
"Bhavyaaa "
"what happened Bhabhi?''
"look there , Gol gappe!''
"But Bhabhi, let's do the shopping first .''
"Nahi Bhavya, let's eat first , I'm getting to see those after sooo many days .''
Bhavya agreed and soon Gauri was teaching her signature style to Bhavya.
At that moment Bhavya got a call and she went aside to attend it while Gauri enjoyed having pani puri.
The stall vendor was giving her smirks and she felt he was trying to flirt .
She was about to say "Ek jhaap mein deewar par sat Jaibe ''when she felt a sharp sting in her waist and started feeling dizzy.
When Bhavya returned after 2 minutes she couldn't find Gauri anywhere .
She enquired about Gauri but got no other answer except that she left while Bhavya stood baffled there .....
