The words to describe Ishqbaaz episode aired on 16 Feb ,2018 - Disappointment and betrayal !!! The following reasons made me wonder if it is worth watching upcoming track.
1) I did not know that a pill can bring someone under your control. What a logic. Next comes the time period for which it's effect lasts. The pill used by Veer to make a person act under his control will last only for ten minutes. That's what he told soumya right? Ten minutes would have lapsed by the time Shivaay reached the destination or maximum by the time Annika finished expressing her happiness. The effect of the pill stayed beyond ten mins.
2) Does the pill have "Veer sensors because one gesture from him brought Shivaay to his normal self while no amount of Annika's caress could. So it stops working only after target is accomplished.
3) Shivaay had an asthma attack which lead him to OM in a hurry bury. He not only turned into a puppet gulping a glass of water but his ailment was cured...Strange !
4) Annika's phone doesn't work and Shivaay couldn't contact her, but then their connection is beyond human telepathy that she reaches the destination without any information. Strange. !
5) After Shivaay shot Annika, blood should have flown below her palm not over it going against the principle of gravity ! The amount of blood was meagre. Come on it was a bullet not a stone. There was not even a drop of blood on her lifeless body when they focused the camera. Blood would flow like a river after getting shot by a bullet. I seriously envy Annika's platelet count for the extraordinary powers making blood clot. Immediately after being shot. Bleeding caused by a small knife cut on my finger takes 5 minutes to clot.
6) Shivaay was easily convinced that he buried her body that too in a coffin without even a bit of doubt on Veer. I can't understand how Veer reached OM ahead of Shivaay. Shivaay came home in a car while Veer was running around. Commendable stamina as earlier he was shown chasing Annika.
7) This is not the Shivaay I knew, he wouldn't have sat and cried, he would have rushed her to the hospital with her body and would have faced the consequence as a braveheart. He wouldn't have hidden the information from family. That would have been a better outcome.
8) Wasn't Veer behind Annika and to make her his, for which he turned Shivaay's enemy. If Annika is gone what purpose does he have to destroy Shiv? He did all this for Svetlana to make Annika his wife. If reward is not there why to work? I expected he would hold her hostage and attack Shivaay. Next disappointment for violation of villain's purpose.
9) Why are all villains except Svetlana behaving like cowards (- Daksh, Abhay, Vikram, now Veer, Saumya ) attacking without revealing their identity. Saumya was better of as rudra's friend. Though her voice is croaky her old role was good. Now I hate her stand and my anger hits it's peak hearing her voice. (More horrible than shruti hasan's voice when she speaks) I feel like closing my eyes when I see her shoot evil glances at Obros.
10) Next comes dialogue repetition and group performance staged by three Jodis. I am tired of Lafzon ka Rishta song...Playing it everyday. I loved it when focus was on AniShivOmRu...But gauri and Bhavya tagging along is intolerable.
11) Shivika have wonderful chemistry but adding cheesy line dialogues is spoiling the fun. Isn't their attitude filled love more beautiful. Cheesy lines are not for them. On the other hand, Annika asked "kya kar rahen hain aap? When Shivaay tried to kiss her. Aren't they a normal married couple and by now she would have been used to her husband's advances. We get such dialogues when we are awaiting scenes where Annika initiates physical contact. The boundaries and discomfort of their physical contact is clearly visible in some places. They can add something like the mooch dialogue after Laal Ishq. That would be more interesting than this forgive my touch and uncomfortable physical advances. I can see hesitation in Shivaay's movements make them look like Nakuul and Surbhi more than Shivika !
12) Annika's costumes were good so far. Now Annika is made to dress up like a clown in the name of new look. I am sure they copied this look of hers from Tamil movie actress Suhasini's role , It looks too out of place for Annika.
13) Tej did not doubt Veer even - his last memory would have the image of joining Veer for a drink. Is he still clueless about Shivaay's sacrifice to save him even after the video was revealed and Svetlana's exposure?
Not even one drop of tear was shed from my eyes...Though some scenes were heart warming in 15th Feb epi. The whole of today was bad !
Even if the few scenes that sounded illogical like point 1 to 7, they might be potential clues that it was means to fool Veer which makers shouldn't have revealed so easily. If they had plans of showing this, they should have kept Shivaay and Annika's understanding of veers reality a secret from audience. The press conference was another blunder.
There were times when I defended Ishqbaaz to be different and drama free when serial haters made fun of it. Now it has created hatred in my heart !! This is not the Ishqbaaz I enjoyed and was mesmerised by. The old plots from their forced marriage till pinky induced separation has been the best !!
The magic of original IB was murdered in June 2017 and has been buried in the coffin that was used to bury Annika today. Aaj Gulmata ne hum sabki Oh My Mata kar Di. It has lost connectivity...There is no logic or sense. Looks like we people have to watch the serial after keeping our brains in fridge. Just because episodes of taking a bullet for each other gained trps, shooting the significant other will not especially if it's based on such logic lacking plots ! Hope they do not show Annika firing Shivaay next time they have low trp !
Even if these blunders are start of a suspense, it is not justified. It looks like each episode is being scripted by different people shabbily compiled on screen with no connection. Fan fictions written by fans seem more interesting and lovable than the original. Today's episode was result of stupidity at its peak. If the writer of script needs a plot, tell them to read fanfictions. I enjoy fan fictions more than the show at present.
I have lost interest to watch the serial. Even if on screen characters believe new look is Annika's look alike, I cannot digest it. I would love to appreciate the memory loss track which they portrayed with perfection that we really believed she has lost her memory. They presented it in a clean manner.

The makers must note that the serial has young audiences who possess something called thinking capacity. Please do not show scenes which even serial sick aunties don't believe.
