And I still don't get how cvs can mess this up... like they nullified everything sumo has done in the past. It doesn't even make sense...

You've made so many valid points about the loopholes in this flip...lol they could have sold it as a grey Sumo simply cuz she feels betrayed by the Oberois...instead they went the full distance in turning her the third NB...lol so obviously they don't care about whether that fits into the larger narrative...in the musical chairs of random villains, now Sumo gets her turn...lol seems like this is the only way poor Neha could get SS in this show.

The writers are determined to still continue with a forced Ruvya track when the characters have a half-baked, meaningless connection. Ah well.

Even after getting her back, they made her negative. 😆 but CVS r clever to pit her against Shivaay for not so good creative reasons that we all know which are actually very lame to be honest.😆

Such a nice post. Those who have watched IB from episode 1 know very well how important saumya was in each and every scene. Her equation with every character was beautiful. Om - saumya , anika-saumya, sahil-saumya was so beautiful. My fav is rakshabandan and karvachauth scene. We cannot erase our love angel cute memories. Rumya were the only properly and first married couple among all 3.

We were so happy when dbo started to watch rumya and Om love story. All our dreams are shattered. Just because CVS could not write their story they scrapped them. Now forcing something that we will never accept... Now waiting for some miracle to happen... Rumya ❤️

Sowmya was the one taking care of Sahil for Annika.

She was also the one who teased Annika when Shivaay dropped her after carryning her inside!

She was the one among the family having fun when Mallika was there!

These point out she was all long a good friend of the family and in no way exhibited hate!

She was the one shown to do the fish for the ring from that bowl of water rasam with Rudy, though unintended!

She had shared many a 'could this be we care for each other' scene with Rudy!

For some reason, they sent her out or she opted out! Now bringing her back as NB 3 somehow is so unfitting!

Amazing Post!

All the points you mentioned are valid, its so difficult to accept our dear Sumo as the 3rd NB sister.

She was the one who told Shivaay about the truth that she was sleeping with Anika in Daksh's room.

I've always adored her bonding with Anika, Shivaay & Om where Om & Shivaay used to support her against Rudy.

She'll forever be 'The love Angel' for us. I love that scene where Rumya are standing on the staircase & Saumya is talking about Shivika & Shivika are standing below the staircase. That scene gave such huge expectations for Rumya too 😭

What have they done to our Sumo? 😭

Sigh. Thank you for the lovely post!

In the scene when Svet makes the fake accident entry into OM (when Tia is still claiming her baby is Shivaay's) -> Tia is busy calling the then (!) 3rd NB sister, Romi, and bawling about 'di's haalath nahi dekh sakthi' 😆 - Sumo is standing with Rudy just watching the fuss that Tej is creating for Svet 😆

RumYa was that couple who appealed to the audience in spite of seemingly being childish - they stood by their family when it was most needed, were perceptive to know what each other and their loved ones were going through even when they were fighting over the most inane things..

I think the makers missed the boat on what could have been an awesome love story.. Sumo wasn't Rudy's idea of a perfectly "fit"/hep partner while Rudy's immaturity irritated but still brought out the protective instincts in Sumo..

Making Sumo grey/black/whatever was enough to bring back the audience interest but making her 3rd NB sister is pretty lame!😕
