SHOT 1: The Dangling End
Her breathing got irregular as her heartbeats declined. Her feet gave away as she plummeted, hitting the hard ground. In his ears echoed the soft thud of her collapse. He had turned away, he couldn't see it. Still, he turned to see her as she lay on the floor, her eyes still looking at him. A tear escaped her eye. He staggered back, dropping the gun. A lone tear escaped his eye. He screamed. The scream was deafening, marked with anguish.
"Anika! he screamed her name this time, dropping to his knees. A sharp cry escaped his mouth, as he looked at her. Fallen, at a distance before him. Pain shot through his head. Tears dripped warmly down his cheek.
He wanted to turn back time set everything right. Go back to the fairytale of a life he was living in. Her hand laboriously extended in his direction. He nodded in a no.
What had anger made him do!
Slowly he saw her struggling to keep her eyes open. His descended heart beats began racing furiously. No. This couldn't be happening.
Flashback:
He heard Anika say something about fire. That's when it struck him. The Kalyani Mills Fire. That had been the reason of their misery, the reason why his family remained fragmented, the reason why he had to be separated by his brother. The reason of destruction of the Oberoi family! His muscles clenched. He had to draw a line now. He had to take things in his own hand. He din't care what was right what was wrong. He swore revenge. Being against him was one thing but being against his family was unleashing the destroyer within him. No one would ever escape his wrath and get away harming his family. NONE.
Desperate searches, endless efforts were all he put into the matter in hand. He barely spoke to anyone at home including his wife. His entire attention was at finding that root cause of all their trouble.
~~~
Then, one day he learnt a truth that pushed away the floor beneath his feet. Evidences that wanted him to tear his eyes out. Everything was clearing up. It was all clear. But, for once he wished he hadn't dug to depth he had.
To find your strength, your weakness, your everything the reason of your suffering was like the world shattering before your eyes.
It was Anika behind everything!
He was mistaken he knew. Perhaps, a horrible plot set-up by the mastermind. He wasn't going to be a fool. No he wasn't. He din't want to know about her past. He remembered her saying that digging into her past would only give pain. But he had to clear her name off everything!
The deeper he went into the matter the harder he found himself drowning in unknown waters. It felt as though life had set a trap for him. Anika, his Anika ? How could it be?
The short video ran before his eyes, no matter how he tried to forget it.
Anika - "Enough is enough, Shivaay kab tak akele sehenge! Iss family ke liye unhone kya kuch nahi kiya lekin..? " She was talking to Abhay!
Abhay-"Mera badlaa Shivaay Singh Oberoi se yaan uske bhaaiyon se nahi, uss garh ke bado se hai!
Anika had learnt about Abhay being the reason behind Shivaay's disappearance on their wedding night. That Abhay had planted Tanya to take Anika's place in Shivaay's life. She was crestfallen, after that. Every time it happened! She was his wife, but never got the title with dignity. She dint want the title, but she din't want heartbreaks. Not anymore. She was afraid she could take none. The sharp sting that broke her heart when he announced another woman as his wife. It challenged her existence, because she now knew herself as his other half, his wife!
What had she not done for him? Her rights were snatched away every damn time. She just wanted to be truly his! It was traumatizing when she learnt that Shivaay was doing this to save his family's wreck. She had known he was up to something. What? He din't tell her until a day before. She had kept a track on Tanya and had learnt about Abhay and Tanya. She had confronted Abhay who had let out his part of the story before her.
Shivaay would never believe if she told him that it was indeed the fault of his elders. He wouldn't take a word against an Oberoi. Her plight, longing and continuous sacrifices soon secreted venom. She felt terrible. She loved him. He loved his family.She dint have any problem with that. The problem was the family! That family which was the reason of them being so away from each other. She had tried doing away with those stupid thoughts but couldn't.
Until one day Shwetlana came back. Abhay refused to give any explanation to her and so did Shivaay. That woman would threaten her husband in their room right in front of her eyes and she would stand their helpless. For once she din't know how to help him, so she simply stood by him.
Then came that day when he was ridiculed by his family for speaking ill about OmRu. Were they all blind? She had known him for barely two years, they knew him ever since! She hadn't expected Jaanvi to stand against Shivaay. That day she lost all the respect that she had for the older generation. One man who stood in the darkest hour, in the stormy weather holding up the lamp for the family- to receive nothing but this insult in return? She would not let this continue, she couldn't.
She would be a Sati if required, but not stand the disrespect to her Shivaay. But, before she could do anything Jaanvi herself asked Shivaay to leave. Anika couldn't stand it a bit. Before she could speak up, Shivaay had agreed. What was he doing? Did he even see who he was making a sacrifice for?
That family where the elders were blinded by the money, name and power? The mother who tried snatching happiness from his own son. That father who never felt the need of opening his mouth and speaking for his son. That father figure who couldn't digest the mere thought of his nephew getting a mortal title of Businessman-Of-The-Year? That mother figure who was respected and honored more than him by than her own son.
They were fake! His family was fake. They were a group of selfish people.
She saw a ray of hope. If he would leave, he would perhaps learn to live for himself, than those bunch of self-centered people he called family . Maybe this was how it was meant to be! They said everything happened for a reason.So be it.
Her hatred for his family had been spiked up when Tej had further gone down to insult Shivaay as they were preparing to leave.But nne had the courage to stop Tej. She swore that day to never let him comeback here, to these people.
She din't know what a family was. He did.
She stood by him through the thick and thin,so did he.
Little did she know the new world would bring all the troubles to her. But she faced it all with his support. They say, "You must not leave a dangling ends of anything hanging unattended, cause it can be wrongly tied to make the world against you
Today she lay there, almost lifeless. Regretting, not telling him that little conversation she had, had with Abhay. Which had now been painted to a bigger fake picture, clearer than summer skies. Which had filled their little world of love with darkness of disloyalty. Which had transformed his love for her into hatred!
I don't know ah to expect of the promo. But this was the first thing that struck a chord in my head.
Sometimes you do nothing, and the world paints a dark image of you.
Sometimes you do the worse, and still the world sees you with shining eyes.
