How Bad Would it Actually Be?

Haven't much been following the show lately. Just catching up on interesting looking ShivIka scenes lately on insta.

Honestly, lots of it seems like rinse and repeat. Yes, the chemistry is alive and fiery, still but it seems to me that their individual story is at a standstill. (Correct me if I'm wrong). I watched the Dil Diyan gallann sequence and while so liked it, I couldn't help but cringe at the public romance *shrugs*. (I'd like to add here that I'm speaking purely as a ShivIka fan here. Everything else has always secondary to me)

I've never been one to hate family scenes but the few I've caught lately seem incredibly forced (I can't believe I'm saying this, either 😆) and repetitive. Writers seem devoid of any inspiration. Dadee's ishqbaaazi lectures induce lots of michmichi for some reason.

I watched today's episode completely. Honestly, they had a golden chance with this Basant festival. They seemed on the right track, too, with the story. In the old days, this woulda been a legit celebration with pain-inducing laughs. But everything fell flat. Idk what happened - whether it was the execution or general boredom - but it came off as badly rushed, badly executed and very very forced.

So given everything that's happening in the show, how bad would it be if it ends? And this is partly to address the unbelievably apocalyptic reactions most people have for that notion. Because to me, it doesn't seem like a bad idea (as in I don't think the world would end if IB is over tho I'll naturally feel sad 😆) Don't getme wrong. Im a ShivIka fan and while I feel there's LOTS to explore, I also feel like the writers don't want to explore. So I think we're at a juncture where closure wouldn't be such a bad thing. ShivIka have had a great, long, beautiful journey that seems complete. Again, THIS IS A PERSONAL OPINION. And I'd love to hear opposing views from everyone without the bashing, please. Also, this is primarily a ShivIka related post.

So what do you guys think? How bad would it be if they tied up loose ends with the up coming track that seems to be interesting, treat that as their final chapter, give us (and themselves) a khidkitor, celebratory ending and bid adieu on a high? Wouldn't it be good to save the show from more ruin?

I need this last high before it's curtain call.I want Shivaay's journey of self realisation that a person's worth is judged by his/her work and good deeds and not by his name, bloodline or dynasty. I want Annika to be an independent successful working woman with a career of her own.
The promo looks very promising and though I am apprehensive I am still looking forward for SSO to rise as a Phoenix and carve an empire of his own with his queen by his side.

Then it's applause and fade away 😊

I would certainly not mind the show ending on graceful note than dragging. But if the promo of new beginnings holds any worth, then i will want it to continue for sometime.

I think this last track needs to address those issues. For me, the top two are the one you pointed about Shivaay and Annika's past (which God only knows when it'll happen)

But the question is, will they ACTUALLY address all of that? Vanvaas began on a great note but it's been rinse and repeat since then. Also - and this comes from a staunch HS fan 😆 - will the writers have guts enough to not fall prey to anything except the story? No extra demands, no pressure?

Those are the questions that bother me. Because I genuinely Don't think the writers are capable of putting everything else aside and focus on just the story - which has been fatal for them for the past few weeks, esp.

That's the ques, tho, isn't it? Will it hold true? 😆

*Fingers crossed* I'm expecting a great rhythm in the beginning but can they continue it in the long run is what my problem is

not bad at all since our Hero lets go off the villains as if they came to his tea party - ao bahar tak chod ke aata hoon
we have a villain who is pretty disgusting to watch - i am so done with seeing his lusty expressions for Anika for the past 5 weeks now without any movement or any break through from shivaay's end - its cringy. i think the writer sahiba is confused who the hero is - in her obsession for male characters.

and yes Rish - family scenes can be fun or ensemble scenes can be. i have watched tarak on and off for the premise - no cast is bigger than that (there are tons and tons of group scenes and they all have individuality - even while dancing in the compound) but none of them stand in a line and mouth useless summer camp type of lines. and i was a scout leader one summer for a camp - we had signs and signals and our scout themes - mainly for keeping the younger kids in check which i found lame at that time but after watching IB i have new found respect for that 😆

@red is what i have waited to watch for months but instead we get daksh part 3 and shivaay doing nothing to find anything about kalyani mills

promo is amazing but going by today's epi - its just a facade. they are not moving away from lame third angles to give the leads any meat. also leads are dumber than dumb villains😆😆😆
