UNCHAIN MY HEART: PART ONE
"Chote papa, I am leaving. Bye, choti maa" Om said while rushing out of the mansion. "Om,listen to me, I think you remember that your new assistant is joining today, so behave properly with her. You have already made many girls run away. I don't want Gauri to face any problems" Shakti warned Om because he already has made 29 of his lady assistants leave the job because of his behaviour. "But chote papa you know that I hate girls, then why is it that everytime you send only a lady assistant to me?" Om asked frowning.
"I would have if you would not have fired Richa just two weeks before your Paris Conference. And now Gauri is the best I have to handle all the desk work for your conference in such a short span" Shakti told Om shrugging. "Okay, chote papa, I will" saying this, a defeated Om sat in his car.
"Again a lady assistant. He knows that I hate girls still"Omkara said fuming and drove off the car to his office. "I know you hate girls Om, but Gauri will surely be special to you" Shakti said in his mind as he knew how innocent, chirpy, confident and lively Gauri was. "She will fill up the broken and empty space in your life"
Did he hate girls? Yes, because all of them are selfish. They just make use of a man's pure love and ditch them when they get a better one. These girls are just not worth of love. The generation of his has just seen selfish and disgusting people. They are just in love with money. Riddhima, his ex was also one of them. She left him for Vikram just because he was not successful at that time. He tried hard to explain to her that success needs time but she left her in the middle of the worst in his life. And now here he is, one of the most famous businessman in India, who has made every single human praise his techniques.
"Good morning sir". Omkara heard a chirping voice as he entered his studio. "Sir, this is Gauri kumari sharma. Your new assistant. Omkara was astonished seeing such a beauty in front of him. Her doe shaped eyes were really attractive. Her voice had an angelic feel. She looked stunning and alluring, yet radiant and exquisite. Her beauty was pulling him towards her.
"Sir, are you okay?" Gauri asked in a slight concerning tone, bringing omkara back to the world. "Yes, I am fine" saying this Om moved towards his cabin. "How rude, I introduced myself, asked about him and look at him, he just waked away. Okay Miss Gauri welcome to the job with this khadoos" sighing she also went following Om to his cabin.
Om was busy in his laptop when Gauri entered the room. "So sir, what is the work today?" she asked excitedly. "Go and arrange all the balance sheets, finish all the pending files and make a presentation for the paris conference." "And all this work has to be done today?" Gauri asked in an are-you serious tone. "So what do you think you are here for huh? Go do my work or else I will fire you" Omkara said in a very angry tone. Fuming Gauri went to her desk
. "Now you wait and watch Miss Sharma how you will leave the job by yourself and this time I will tell chote papa that you are not able to do my work" Om said to himself said in a devilish tone.
"What the hell is all this, you cannot even make a proper balance sheet?" Om shouted on Gauri. "What happened sir, what is wrong in the balance sheet" Gauri was shocked. Her heart was beating as fast as a bullet train. She was scared to the core. Though she has already heard from the employees that Mr. Oberoi's nephew gets blowed up very easily, but this was very new to her.
"Is this why chote papa calls you his best? If yes then surely he needs to look at it again coz this is absolutely not what a best does." "But what do you mean? What have I done?""What have you done? Look at it you didn't even looked at the cash book receipt and just added the amount. Are you mad? What if the amount goes wrong? You know how much losses would have our company occurred if this would have gone wrong?"
"But it is okay, right? Gauri said with a little hesitation." "Oh so you wanted to destroy it?" "No, I was not. I am doing it for 2 years now and I know how to do it" Gauri was loosing it now. He was her boss but she gave no one the right to insult her in front of the whole office like this."So you mean that since you have an experience so you could do anything you want?" Om shouted at Gauri.
"Enough sir, I am not here to listen to your stupid excuses of showing me down everyday. It's been 3 days since I joined you and you are only taking out silly and stupid mistakes in my work" Gauri almost lost it now. She had enough of him in the past three days. He scolds her almost everyday and never listen to her. He made her work for 20 hours in a day even without caring about her health. But now it was enough, she almost was on the verge of a breakdown.
Seeing her in such a condition, something broke in Om's heart. Though he hated girls but she was not like others. His chote papa told him that even when she was offered a high pay and a very big career option she didn't leave the company. She was the only girl who was successful in building a soft corner in his heart. "I am sorry" was all he was able to utter and ran back to his cabin.
"So, Om and Gauri you both have to leave for paris tomorrow. I hope you both know how important this deal is for us" Shakti said. "Yes, chote papa, we are ready" Om said in a confident tone looking at Gauri. "We are excited too sir "Gauri said smiling. And after finishing all the last minute work, both left the office.
Though it was raining, Gauri went to the near bus station and was waiting for the bus because she can't take her scooty. Om who was driving back home saw her and stopped his car near her. "Why are you standing here? You will not get any vehicle." "Yes I know, but its raining." "You have your scooty naa, take it and go" even if he had a soft corner for her but still he cannot let any girl come near him.
"Well, thanks for telling me that I have a scooty but for your information I have sinus too and If I get drenched in rain I will not be able to attend the conference tomorrow in paris." "Ok then, come on I will drop you" Om said, realising that it was not safe for a girl to be there alone. "No, thanks I will manage" Gauri said turning away. "I am not asking you, I am ordering you. Come sit, I will drop you" he had to be strict otherwise she would never come with him. And as expected, she went and sat down in the car, fuming. "God, why is this guy so impossible to understand". The rest of the way was a silent drive.
"Okay then, see you tomorrow?" Omkara said while driving off after droping her.
