This OS was in my head ever since we had that trip and fall catch of Shivika in the new house on Friday. Not proof read so please ignore any typos.
Anika:
Anika woke up, squinting at the bright rays of the sun streaming into the bedroom. She stretched languidly, her fingers searching on their own accord for her jaan, coming up empty. She gasped when she glanced at the clock across the bed, it was 10 am. Anika sat up quickly and winced. It took her a moment or two to come to terms with her new surroundings. It dawned on her that they were in Goa, making a new beginning for themselves. Her first thought was of Shivaay, he was so broken and emotionally drained last night. Her eyes then fell on the note propped on the bedside table with a red rose laid across it. She reached for the note and winced yet again.
She opened the note from Shivaay.
Dear Biwi,
You need your sleep as you barely had any last night. Sorry, I am not there when you wake up and read this. I have a meeting with some officials for setting up my new business.
See you at Lunch.
Shivaay
Anika then decided to shower and get ready. When she took a few steps to the washroom, she realized her body was aching in many places that she never knew existed. Her face grew warm, her body grew hot as recollections of the night before began flashing through her.
Shivaay was working and bade her to go to bed. Anika wanted to wait up but the events of the past few days had drained her and she drifted off to sleep. She was woken a few hours later when she felt Shivaay getting into the bed, drawing her into his arms. Anika was wide awake in an instant and asked Shivaay if he was ok. Shivaay just hugged her more tightly, drawing in her scent, her very presence in his embrace seemed to strengthen him. She opened her mouth to ask him the next question, when they were sealed by Shivaay's lips, effectively silencing her. Their breathing grew more labored and the air around them heated. Shivaay was forceful and rained kisses on her face, her torso, her belly and lower until she was a quivering mass of jelly who could onlyy thrash her head from side to side. She gave keening cries of Shivaay like a mantra that only seemed to drive Shivaay more to torture her with his touches and kisses. He rode her hard until he emptied himself in her, her embrace tight. When they had gathered their breaths, with Anika laying her head atop Shivaay's thudding heart, she heard him speak, all the while caressing her face.
I miss OmRu so much that it feels like my limbs are missing. I failed in my duty to protect my family, I am the great wall of Shivaay and this wall could not contain the evil Svetlana. I failed, I failed for the first time to protect my family and look what happened. I almost lost you today Anika. When I realized that the bus was speeding of with you in it, I truly felt my breath was stopping. You cannot imagine what I felt in those few seconds. I had just lost my family and you were gone too, I could not live without you gone. I had to come after you in the only way I know, becoming SSO and rescuing you. I had to steel myself to let you go, when you asked me for the Pinky Promise, my breath ceased, Anika. I fought with the gods to be back at your side, just when we have emabarked on this journey of life together. How could he take you away from me?
Anika's tears rolled silently down her face. She lifter her face and looked at him mistily thought her tears. She cupped his face and said I trust you. I know that whatever you did had a reason for it and you will tell me when you are ready.' She then kissed him on the lips softly, pouring all her love, fear of losing him and her relief to find him back in her arms safely into the kiss.
Soon the kiss was taken over by Shivaay and he rolled her beneath him and began to make love to her. 'I need you now Anika, don't stop me. '
Anika blushed furiously as she had taken the lead with a lot of encouragement from Shivaay. She stepped into the shower and saw the love bites and red marks on her body, caused by Shivaay's beard and his enthusiasm. The hot water was soothing and revived her tired muscles. She dressed in a pale blue chiffon sari paired with a blouse that left her back almost bare. Her stomach began to rumble and she was hungry. She had plans to make as she was after all GL, the most ideal GL.
Shivaay:
Shivaay stared pensively at his laptop screen. The words were a meaningless jumble to him. He had to focus, draw his thoughts away from the events of the past few hours or days. The thoughts of his dadi, his brothers OmRu kept coming in his mind, he kept seeing their tearful faces, pleading with him to not leave OM. He kept hearing the threats made by Svetlana against his family and the words of his Badi Maa and Bade papa, asking him to leave OM for good. He knew that he would have to pay a price for deeding OmRu's shares to Svetlana and being unable to disclose the truth to them. Still he was unprepared for the pain, the loss of his near and dear ones with him. He had failed, he felt ashamed for failing to keep his family safe. The press had had a field day with the announcements he had made that Svetlana was his business partner in the Oberoi empire. He was broken out of his reverie by a soft voice asking him to eat his dinner. He came back to the present and saw Anika gazing at him with love, concern shining in her eyes. He looked at her and wondered at this woman, who stood by him resolutely, turned her back on luxury without a second thought, who took off her jewelry without any prompting from the family, who gave up the family she craved for all her life, for HIM, to Stand with HIM. To undertake a risky journey filled with uncertainties. He could not bring himself to talk to her, the feeling still raw and bleeding. At the same time he could not have borne the pain without her by his side, who brought light into his life, uncomplaining and a pillar of strength. He the great wall of Shivaay needed a crutch. He was humbled and awed by the love his Anika had for him, his beliefs her own, bracing him when he wailed for OmRu post the hijack when the fact hit him hard, that he did not have his brothers by his side. Anika had showered soothing kisses on him, reassuring him that he would be ok, THEY would make things better. He told her to go to bed and needed some time to ponder on the next course of action.
The call from Rudra was a test to his steely resolve to remain stoic. The plea from his little brother whom he loved like a son, a brother, a friend, an inherent part of himself broke his resolve. He heard his dadi in the background telling Rudy to ask if they had arrived in Goa safely? That bit undid him totally, he tried hard to tell himself to control, but the tears flowed unchecked down his cheeks, his voice breaking, unable to form a coherent sentence. He knew that Rudra would find it hard to continue without him, he had always looked upto him for guidance, he was everything to him. He cut the call and gave into his tears, his feeling of utter helplessness overwhelmed him. Soon, he gathered himself, he was after all Shivaay Singh Oberoi, he would rise like a phoenix and get rid of the darkness that prevailed over his family like a cloud. He would vanish the darkness with GruhaLakshmi by his side, his own weapon to fight the war begun by Svetlana.
He glanced at his watch and it was past 1 am. He made his way to their bedroom and he saw Anika, his life curled up on her side, sleeping like an angel. He discarded his clothes and got into bed, drawing her in his arms, needing her warmth, feeling her softness melting into him, just holding her in his arms was like a balm to his scarred soul. She began to speak after being roused from her slumber by his presence and he was not in a mood to speak. He silenced her by placing his lips over hers and began to kiss her senselessly. Soon, the kiss turned into raging desire, the need to make her his overriding all other emotions, her pants and breaths stoking his desire higher than he imagined. She was liquid with desire for him, her moans and gasps of Shivaay making him pleasure her even more. He finally emptied himself in her, their breathing harsh and labored before calming to a soothing even beating.
He awoke her just before the crack of dawn, it was slow unhurried lovemaking and Anika fell asleep in his arms. He disengaged her hands and woke up without disturbing her. He felt guilty looking at her face that bore the ravages of the traumatic time of the last few days. She needed her sleep and he knew she would sleep for a few more hours. He felt alive, purpose in his every moment and had plans to make. He would not be defeated not by a long shot. He was down but not out and had to teach Svetlana a lesson for daring to dally with his family's honor and name.
Shivaay came home and went straight to the dining table drawn there by the aroma of food wafting from there. He spotted Anika setting the table for the two of them dressed in a pale blue sari. His breath hitched and cleared his throat. Anika sensed his presence just as Shivaay cleared his throat. She gazed at him before downing her eyes in shyness, her face flaming hot with the events of the night before. Shivaay winked at her before drawing her close to him and whispered 'So Mrs.ASSO, did you get enough sleep? He caressed her bare stomach that caused Anika to quiver and tremble. Anika could not reply and lay her head on his shoulder, grasping his lapel tightly. Shivaay just guffawed to find his Jhansi ki Rani shy. He sat her down on his lap and looked at the dishes on the table. He ladled some food on his plate and lovingly fed Anika. Anika now past her shyness, fed Shivaay and replied Yes my dear bagad billa, I feel rested'. Shivaay could not resist teasing her and asked Are you ready for another round Mrs. ASSO? Anika was shocked and looked at Shivaay longingly, unable to reply when her husband took in her expression and laughed, hugging her tightly. She also burst out laughing ... Aap bhi na, kahin bhi shuru ho jaate ho!!' .
They would be alright, the two of them and would set things right soon.
