It was refreshing to the see the last cap where Billu looks very composed and looks prepared for his journey ahead...that's like my Billu...can't wait to see their new innings

Btw AY I must say you also write your posts dil se...it's not just a review it's discovering the layers and exploring the depths and details

My week has been like the IB week...nimbu 😆

Have to say, while rewatching, I was struck again by just how well the feeling of life hanging in the balance was captured in this scene through the amazing direction and performances...you felt like you were on the edge of something...the way the bus would wobble, teeter on the edge while Shivika strain to hold on to that pinky promise...as if straining to hold on to life itself...so palpably creating that feeling of uncertainty for a moment about not knowing whether they will survive this...kudos to the team for this scene

I love love love these so much and word to every thing girl. This moment really had that good bye wala feel like abke hum bichde Toh khwabon main milenge type.the way they tried not to look at each other after like how he only turns to look at her one last time when she turns her face his look there. The hand gesture as if silently saying ruk jao but also wanting her safety and accepting that this just might be it . At thst point it was like he knew this time he might fail with the pinky promise but still did it for her. 😭😭 so so so heartwrnching and powerful visual

Rest coming back in a bit to comment on 😛

Amazing post yet again :)

The breakdown was truly amazing, well shot, written & acted. But my favorite part was the Pinky promise bit in the bus. It was soo beautiful and full of feels. The way both started arguing about the other jumping first, then how Anika refused to leave him, to the pinky promise part and how Shivaay broke it and looked away like he knew this time he cant promise her 😭 And then the most heartbreaking moment when she starts to leave and he looks at her so longingly like he was afraid if it was indeed the last time he was seeing her 😭

I really hope they get the numbers next week because the team deserves it sooo much this time.

@Felicity: Haha thanks...yeah, after ages, an overall storyline in IB is motivating me to want to write in more detail...otherwise toh for the longest time it was just crumbs of Shivika scenes without much cohesiveness overall in the epis...so I'm enjoying this streak while it lasts :) gulneet really are keeping their promise of giving us good times content wise and can't be complaining about it. yes finally i am excited everyday to wake up and watch it asap so *touchwood* let's hope this continues for a longwhile

Re: editing...lol surprisingly, I didn't find anything off...by usual IB standards, toh this was pretty good...I didn't feel jarred by the transition of the scenes...they were using TRP tropes anyways to cut to Daadi ka akhand jot wala diya...lol and then later to the Pinky-Shakti scene...but it worked overall for me in terms of transition. We've had WAY worse editing in IB with no head or tail FBs also...but aajkal even the FBs are good...the little Obros wala FB was on point today. really? the editing was fine today i did not find it too jarring either i think it flowed so well my only minor issue was dadi ka trp trope wala dia and dadi shaking her hands so hard to jalao it it w as so obvious ke woh jalana hi nahi chahti😆😆😆 but woh bhi mujhe editing ka flow disturb karta nahi laga so yeah

Aww thanks, Manisha :) LOL haan dil se nikal hi aata hai analysis when we are given content worth exploring layers-wise :)

Hope you catch a breather at work soon and are able to watch...it was a lovely episode today and without any promotions, the breakdown was a very pleasant surprise to watch...superbly executed.

When they give us such nuances, that is when we are blown away, na? SO much was said through those silent gestures...he turned to look at her the moment she turned away as if he couldn't help himself despite his attempts to be the one telling her to leave...and then that entire last set of looks they exchange as she walks down the stairs and is slowly disappearing from his line of sight...Shivaay's eyes there say SO much about that fear of not being able to make it back to her...this possibly being the last time he sees her...amazing visuals today.

exactly this is what sets them apart this kind of detailing which is so raw and real and honestly rare to see in fictional characters these days tv chodo films main bhi tina detail nahi hota and it really really blows you away . each emotion comes across and hits you hard as i said the other day they add so much to these scenes everytime that you never feel that you;ve been there seen that . every time there is somethign new to look and find and explore and go wow over in their scenes.

Thanks!

I loved the pinky promise scene a lot too for all the reasons you described, including the one in bold...so much said in that moment without saying anything...

I'm just amazed that we got so many emotional Shivika scenes in an epi again...surprising bonus this was today :)
