This reminds me of old IB 😆
Looks like Svetlana is playing their weaknesses against them.

Tej's worst nightmare is Shivaay's success. Checking his stocks, being jealous over his success, and plotting against him. I don't remember the details, but Tej went Shivaay's back to get the shares from the stockholders to give Om leverage. I guess writers are trying to do same thing again with Shivaay. Putting logic aside, the point is that it's a issue of power. Knowing that Shivaay could take everything from Omru if he wanted is his worst fear. Obviously Shivaay wouldn't do that because he's not Tej, but the fear was always there. That's why Svetlana only wanted 50% to have him turn on Shivaay and it worked. I wouldn't surprised once Shivaay is gone that Tejlana happens again because the man has no loyalty 😆

Jhanvi is weak and it won't take much for Tej to convince her to get rid of Shivaay. She is easily manipulated so she'll break if it means saving her sons.

Pinky thinks Shivaay deserves everything because out of the three of he is the only one that worked for it. She thinks that Omru, Anika, and everyone else is taking advantage of him. When Jhanvi sends her son away. She won't hold back anymore because there is no Shivaay to hold her back. She deliberately humiliated her own family for months just to get rid of Anika and to "save" Shivaay. All hell is going to break loose now. I'm hoping we get a unapologetically evil Pinky.

Shakti might side Tej or Pinky depending on the situation.

ShivOmRu will be stuck in the middle of their dysfunctional family. They won't fight over property or money that's not them so I'm cool with the separation. There might be internal conflict that keeps them from seeking each other out because high drama brings TRPs. It might be a misunderstanding between ShivKara rather than a conflict. Either way, I'm excited to see what happens.

Poor Daadi will have no idea what's going on as usual 😆

I know some fans are not liking the drama, but after months of fillers I'm excited something is happening in the show again. I was done with everyone sharing a single track standing in lines. Now, with all this drama all the characters can go off and deal with the aftermath.

remember shivaay's promise to daadi from initial episodes
"mein khud toot jaaonga daadi leken dadu kay sapnay ko tootnay nahi donga, mein omkara aur rudra hamesha saath rahengay"

he mentioned his brothers only, khud too jaaonga, he's shattered already it seems like omru sooner or later too will join him and anika wherever shivika will goto live.

Interesting theory, but I don't think they will go with him because that defeats the purpose of the vanvaas. They might be united, but just physically separated.

om and ru will live separately then like shivaay, as a part of plan perhaps to show vamps that they are all broken and not united as they used to be but will work out their plan to get what they lost.Om and ru cannot live in a house where there's no shivaay and anika, I have this feeling that their ladies, anika, gauri bhavya or soumya will reunite, all six will re-united against NB, remember what dadi says that in teen bhaiyon ki biwiyaan(something like that) will keep them united and will keep the family united too, don't remember her exact words but this is what they meant.

btw janvi pinky fights sounds like some part of plan too or no, only time will tell.😉

I agree about appreciating this track because it actually has some conflict, rather than all of the characters going back and forth without meaning. I think it has a stupid amount of potential, and I hope the writers really use it.
I'm totally with you on having a psychotic Pinky. I am so ready for it; just the fact that this time, she's actually fighting against someone that isn't her daughter-in-law, makes me so exciting. Between the two senior Oberoi daughter-in-laws, she's the braver, and the more brutal one. The woman has fighting spirit, and I hope the CVs materialise on that, with proper conflict between her and Jhanvi, rather than them having petty bitch fights.
I see Shakti siding with Pinky, this time, to be honest. Sure, he's always tried to reside in his limits with his brother, and sister-in-law, but I think that sending his son away might be the last straw. The only other option to do something different would be for him to be unaware that Jhanvi is the one that has sent Shivaay away, and thus, try to defend her in the face of his hurting wife.
In my head, I want to see Tej realise what he has actually done. By no means do I want him hurting for Shivaay leaving (because tbh, that's pretty goddamn unbelievable) but rather, for him to realise that his sons will not touch the empire, without their brother and that instead, he will have to be the one that manages everything until, and if Shivaay comes back. Then, when Jhanvi refuses to revoke the vow she has taken from Shivaay, I want him to realise that there needs to be damage control done, to save the business, and the family from being destroyed. That role reversal would be pretty stunning to see if done properly.
If they're going by the Ramayan (and so far, they've been pretty accurate with most of their characterisation), Ram's father passes away during the fourteen years, from the shock of his son leaving. In more modern terms, he represents (the parental/platonic figure) the one who loves Ram the most, in the family. In IB, I think its between Pinky and Daadi, and if they have Pinky becoming uncontrollable in her anger, it will be Daadi that falls ill/dies from the grief. I don't think they'll kill her off, but I can see her becoming seriously ill/bed-ridden.

I've seen a lot of people talking about how they hope that its all a plan, but honestly, I hope not. I found the whole planned memory loss track so contrived, and convoluted; and I hope they don't do this with the vanvaas track. The Oberois cannot plan every single one of their conflicts, for god's sake. Also, I think that revealing that it was all fake in the end just gets rid of the intensity of the whole track, and diminishes any impacts that it could have left on the audience.
For one, I always saw the vanvaas being born through a conflict between ShivKara, where their views on the world clash, and collide seriously. Tbh, I imagined that it would be in the aftermath of the Kalyani Mills truth coming out, and the brothers finding out that it was one of their parents (in my head it was Shakti, or Jhanvi, because the other two are too obvious), and having differing opinions on how to deal with. Like, Om wanting to report it to authorities and trying to mete out justice, while Shivaay tries to salvage the family name. But that didn't happen, and instead, we got a vanvaas induced by our good friend, the everpresent Svets. Anyhow, like you said, its better than anything we've gotten in months, so I just hope the CVs maximise the opportunity.

Phew, rant over! I was contemplating opening a vanvaas thread, but ccbs, so you saved me the trouble. Thank you for the post ❤️

I thought the same thing today, that the show gave me old IB feels. Everything felt nicely written rather than just having mindless tracks.

You hit the nail on the head. The reason why Tej is insecure about Shivaay's position in the company is because Shivaay's holds the power to the company and therefore the Oberoi wealth. Not his sons. Svetlana played a brilliant play today by pitting Shivaay vs OmRu, by telling Tej that Shivaay voluntarily gave up OmRu's shares on his own free will.

Pinky's opinion has always been that Shivaay deserves a greater share since he is the one who is working and expanding the Oberoi Empire. But her defense of Shivaay has always come from a personal selfishness to have control to the Oberoi wealth over the rest of the family. It's her way of compensating for the disrespect she gets for not be "modern" or "sophisticated" enough as Jhanvi.

I'm actually so excited about the show. It's been a long time since I watched the show because I want to see what happens next. I feel like I was just tuning in for the sake of tuning in all these months. This track has such amazing potential. I'm very curious to see what will happen to the Oberois once the "Great Wall" leaves. Especially since he is the one who has been keeping the family together during all their trials and tribulations😆

Same. I always felt that that track was not fair to the audience. It was a couple weeks of solid Shivika angst and then suddenly it all went "poof" because it was all pre-planned. Only because they didn't want to sort through Shivika's feelings so quickly, so they backtracked
